• It was attractive, not far from beach, comfortable.
• Room was not clean, put in smoking/handicap room.

“This hotel is decent. If I were paying full fair, I would have been livid. The pool is very tiny. It is not far from the beach. Most of the staff is friendly.”

• The thing that
  I liked about this hotel was the complementary breakfast and the friendly help that
  I got when
  I needed directions.
• I did not like the location.
  I had to make a U turn to get to it. The pool was not clean. they did not have a pool inside.

• That it was inexpensive, but still very nice and comfortable.
• That I did not have the option of selecting a non-smoking room.

• Non smoking floor, but had smoke odor in room.

• Poor rooms found, a bug, could not pay for upgrade I can go on.

“I did not like it. Good for business but not for a couple out. What's up with no choice of bed arrangements, Just not satisfied with your service or their rooms? In combination this really made our weekend a real bust.”

• The rooms were really big and there was a microwave, fridge in the room too! The hotel was clean.
• The pool was lacking and the breakfast staff was not helpful or attentive to the needs of the guests.

“Overall, we were pleased with our stay. We liked the size of the room! It left us with plenty of extra space for our Pack 'n Play. All other things aside, a nice room is really what we were after. We didn't mind driving a little bit to get to most of the attractions because our room was just what we wanted.”

• It far exceeded my expectations and I was pleased that they had an entire non smoking wing.
• There was a long wait to use the waffle maker. More would be very convenient.

“This hotel was in a convenient location for our visit and was extremely clean and well managed. All of the accommodations and amenities were well located and easily found. I was delighted that our room was not only non smoking but located in a non smoking wing. I would recommend this hotel. Thank you.”

• A little far away from major attractions.

• The rooms are cleaned very well on a daily basis.
• My room looked like it needed some repairs on the ceiling and the bathroom needed repairs around the bath tub.

“This hotel is very conveniently located and is overall clean and comfortable. The room needed some updating, however was not bad in any way. I think they need to extend the continental breakfast cut off time to later than 9:30 because everyone does not get up early when they are on vacation.”

“Nice hotel. Clean room. Friendly staff. Only detraction was the location to Myrtle Beach area, a good 20+ miles away. Still a good place to stay especially if you are staying near or at North Myrtle Beach.”

• The complimentary breakfast and overall location of the facility was nice.
• I found the staff unhelpful and the room absolutely unbearable.

“This was by far one of the worst trips I have ever taken. The hotel repeatedly told me that they had no non-smoking rooms available, but I, later, found out that they did indeed have a non-smoking room because I overheard another gentleman check in (who had not made previous reservations) and he was booked for the last non-smoking room. I am not a smoker and have strong allergies to cigarette smoke - so I opted to spend most of the night in the hotel lobby (that was smoke free) and then spent the remaining hours sleeping in my car to avoid staying in such a room.”

“The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel staff is very friendly. It is a little far from major shopping and dining attractions (almost the last hotel in North Myrtle Beach) but we would stay here again. We had a great experience.”

• Breakfast was more than continental. Hotel had a hot tub too!
• Too far from everything. Could not ride my bike to the beach because the hotel was on the wrong side of the busy highway.

“I was surprised at what the hotel had to offer (pool, hot tub, breakfast) for the price, but didn't expect it to be as far up. I would have preferred one closer to Broadway and on the Beach side of busy Hwy 17 so I could ride my bike to the beach and around. It was surrounded by decent restaurants, but since I had to drive to everything else, it really didn't matter.”

• For a smoking room, it was quite clean and the facilities were fine.
• Only king size bed in smoking room was available. They made little effort to accommodate any change over four days despite cancellations and turnover.

“Its convenient to the highway, great restaurants and North Myrtle Beach, the less developed part of Myrtle beach. However, if they are going to cater to a country wide audience, they need to lose the smoking rooms and king size beds and go to multi bed non smoking rooms. The hotel staff also varied in niceness - one guy called us three days after we arrived and asked if we'd gotten our crib yet. Some of the staff, I think one of the owners were a bit rude and curt. Other staffers was nice and helpful, but I think it depended more on their personalities than hotel management policy. The cleaning staff was not that good and my wife was sure her makeup had been touched/used.”

• It was not clean, the face of the AC unit fell off dirty sheets.

• Good coffee! Need to have cookies available 24/7 like clarion!
• No cookies! In the lobby by the coffee!

“This was a nice place to stay- a little distant from the condo where my kids stayed but nonetheless very comfortable especially the beds! I slept like a baby! Good pillows, good mattress, nice so nice down comfort! Loved my restful stay! The only thing was that the rooms seemed geared to men and their tastes with the dark cherry furniture and dark bed spreads.”

• To far from attractions, did not have the requirements I was told it had.

“The hotel in general is great. The pool was very small but fun, the workout room only had 3 pieces of equipment and we never got a turn. But, the hotel was clean at all times and the staff were beyond friendly.”
