• Right across the street from the mall and restaurants. Room very clean and comfortable.

“Our room was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Hotel was very convenient to the mall and restaurants across the street and Carter-Finely Stadium. One turn and a five mile straight shot on a four lane road and you are at the stadium.”

• Nice hotel, decent rooms.
• The manager was rude, not only to me but to other guests.

“The room was clean and bed comfortable which is really what matters the most to me. The staff was inefficient and the manager was rude. I stayed two nights and my room was never cleaned. When I told the staff, they said it was probably because I had a DND sign on my door. It was on the door one hour in the afternoon. They had the entire rest of the day to clean it. The manager was rude and condescending when I spoke to him regarding another issue that was their fault. I would not stay there again.”

• Staff went out of their way for us, extra-friendly and helpful. Room was perfect, beautifully decorated and super clean. Love the location.
• No fan in bathroom to help remove heat and humidity.

“Marriott in Raleigh at the Crabtree Mall is just beautiful. It is set in a shady environment with pretty trees and landscaping. Although it is on a busy street, it is set off far enough and with enough landscaping that you feel it is private. The staff was terrific, the best you could want. The restaurant is nice, but pricey (breakfast buffet is $14). Our room was just perfect, with great decor and an extra comfortable bed with scrumptious linens. The bathroom is very nice and had all amenities. I have stayed here before, and was thrilled to stay again. Wish I could have stayed a couple of days more for leisure! You are right across from the Crabtree Mall, which has a Cheesecake Factory, PF Changes, Ruby Tuesday, and many great food court options. The mall is very pretty. You are also within ten minutes of Cameron village, another pretty shopping area. It is close to the interstate, as well. I don't think you could go wrong with this hotel, as it is just gorgeous.”

“Hotel was ok, overall, not worthy of four star rating. Room was damp and small, fridge old. We picked up our own room service meal at 10 pm. However, the food was good. Morning meal was delivered on-time and very good. Staff all helpful and friendly.”

• Very clean and neat; wonderful, soft and puffy beds and bedding; beautiful corridors and lobby area.
• The bathroom is very pretty, but small. The restaurant did not have affordable options for breakfast (a buffet was $14.00).

“Marriott Crabtree is a beautiful hotel right across from Crabtree valley mall in Raleigh, NC. The setting is pretty, with many trees, which makes it feel different than on a very busy street. The restaurant was pricey, so we opted to either snack or go out. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and the beds and bedding are scrumptious. I was very comfortable there. The blackout drapes kept the room dark in the early morning light. Elevators are quick and several are running. This would be a great place to stay again.”

• The usual Marriott class was evident every where.
• The bed was not up to Marriott standards - much too soft.

“Hotel was attractive, well-care for and a great location. Staff was helpful and friendly and other than the bed being way too soft and not up to what I expect from Marriott, my stay was good and I would certainly stay there again when I am in the area.”

• The layout of the driving paths in front of the hotel seemed a little dangerous.

• Thin walls- we were kept awake one night by partiers in the next room.

“We were celebrating our engagement and the staff went out of their way to make this stay special for us. We received complimentary wine and cheese upon arrival and congratulations everywhere we went. The service in the bar (both food and drink) was outstanding. This was one of the best hotel experiences I have had.”

• The Marriott has the most amazingly comfortable beds - you don't want to get out of them!
• Everything was exceptional.

“For my first visit to Raleigh, I couldn't have asked for a more pleasurable stay. The hotel is very contemporary and comfortable and beautiful. The rooms are spacious, the beds are the best, and the customer service can't be beat. They are all about the customer - I asked for a different room and was accommodated with no problem. They have a beautiful bar area. And it's located directly across from the best mall in Raleigh. Ten minute drive to airport - centrally located to everything.”

• The recent renovations are very attractive. The hotel personnel were very helpful with the little ones, directions, etc.
• The walk light at the intersection was very short.

“Our family stayed at the Marriott for my daughter's birthday weekend. We were close enough to the mall to walk across the way. All of the Marriott employees that we encountered were very kind to us. They took the time to speak to my daughter and ask her about her day. We had been to see Disney on ice-princess wishes-so she was very talkative. The pool and hot tub were very clean and well maintained. It was a very enjoyable weekend.”

• Did NOT like the heavy, thick comforters. Too hot even though the thermostat was turned off, I also asked for help to get online, no help came.
