• The beds were very comfortable.
• The bathroom sink needed repair on the first night of our stay.

• The day manager on our return to Buffaloo went out of his way to help us, even allowing us to wait in his vehicle while our car warmed up.
• The night manager.

“The hotel was about what we expected in terms of accommodation. The rooms were relatively large and clean. The breakfast was OK and staff other than the night manager were very accommodating. We would stay again if we were catching a flight out of Buffalo Airport”

• The location is close to a lot of places.
• Room is dirty, too many bugs, even though I transferred to a non smoking room the room still smells and even in the hallway I can smell the smoke.

“The hotel is dirty, the room smells and even though it is non smoking room it smells. On the hallway the smoke smells. The bathroom is dirty and the carpet is dirty too. The staff is friendly though.”

• We could not check in at 3 PM.

“Nice hotel, clean, friendly employees, could use a few updated, some other guests with our wedding group said the base of toilet was broken, etc. My room was fine.”

• I enjoyed the hotel pool.
• I found hair in the shower. There was major construction on the hotel road.

“Finding the entrance to the hotel was difficult because of road construction. The construction also made exiting the hotel difficult. My wife and I found hair in the shower and did not feel that the room was cleaned very well. The breakfast was nice, but the space was very limited and getting to the food was a challenge. I did enjoy the pool area.”

• Internet in room, hard wired was good for me.
• ESPN, ESPN 2, and a few other TV stations not working.

“Right next to I-90 Thruway - noisy if room fan not on. There was contraction on the road in front of the hotel which resulted in accessibility problems. It is located in short walking distance to a good restaurant and other food and shopping areas.”

• It met my needs and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was awesome.
• The location was very confusing. I lost the way and had to find the place for.

“The hotel is economical and good place to stay. I can stay here for a longer duration as well. However in the night when we reached Buffalo, we could not find the location and when called the hotel the guy at the reception was drunk and he was not in good mental state to guide us well. He was trying his best though. This made us spend 2 hours on highway just locating the hotel.”

• The shuttle service was perfect, as well as being able to leave our car for the week.
• The breakfast wasn't all that great.

“This hotel fit our needs perfectly. Close to the airport with shuttle service there and back. Staff was friendly, room was clean!”

• Staff was helpful, beds were extremely comfortable.
• Recliner position in the room made it kind of cramped.

“Front desk staff were very pleasant. Rooms were more than adequate, beds and pillows were clean and excelled in comfort. Pool area was maintained and family-friendly. Breakfast was wonderful.”

• I liked the fact that they had a microwave and refrigerator in the room.
• Too many kids in the pool area. They should have a time when only adults could go.

“This was one of the better hotels that we have stayed in. I would definitely stay there again and recommend my friends and family that they stay there.”

• Decor, choice of pillows, mattresses, cleanliness, fridge, micro, friendly staff, location.
• Nicer rooms seemed to be on the second floor, no chairs on the balcony, breakfast room needs more tables and chairs.

“The hotel employees were friendly and helpful. Our room was nicely decorated with a balcony overlooking a park area. The beds were very comfortable with a choice of pillow types - feathered or alternative. Both the micro and fridge were useful. The pool and spa area was inviting. The location was excellent for shopping, and there was an excellent choice of restaurants nearby. We will definitely stay here again.”

• The "deluxe" continental breakfast was the best free meal I've ever had at a hotel.
• The pool area was a little rundown (I still liked it and we still enjoyed it).

“The deluxe continental breakfast was just that it was hot and tasty with far more options than I've ever been given at a continental breakfast before (freshly baked cinnamon rolls were a nice touch)! Our room was very clean and the pool/hot tub area were satisfactory and open late (convenient). The staffs were friendly and the location very central to anywhere we needed to go in Buffalo.”

• This hotel was what I needed it to be. Close to everything we wanted to do.
• There was a lot of construction going on the main road in front of the hotel.

“I was planning this as a get away for me and my son. We had a great time and the Clarion was just right for our needs. The pool was nice and the hot tub was great. The room was fine and the staff was great. We had a very nice stay.”

• The continental breakfast was exceptional.
• It is next to an expressway and on a flight path.

“We had reserved 2 rooms and upon arrival only one was ready so staff kindly relocated us to connected rooms which we appreciated. The bed was most comfortable and we enjoyed a good sleep. The breakfast was exceptional with my wife agreeing that it is the best free breakfast that e have ever had at a hotel. The staff was very nice and we would go back to this location again. It is also very well situated to get to the Buffalo International airport.”

• Indoor pool, hot tub and breakfast for a reasonable price.
• Basic maintenance - molding in pool and bathroom coming apart - exercise equipment that didn't work.

• Pool was cold, Sauna was Freezing. Breakfast O.K.

“Heat the Pool and Sauna, Clean the mold in the bathroom, Offer a little more choices on the breakfast menu and this could be a nice place.”

• Good location, neat airport, but very quiet. Lots of amenities (e.g. internet).
• Bathrooms a little dated, same with carpeting, and no elevator.

“TV reception poor on some channel stub was dirty and drain was full of hair you could see through one bath towel when held up to the light ran out of facial tissues. Only 5 in box no extra toilet paper. Fortunately not needed stayed in a hotel that was actually worse than this one.”

• Carpet could have been vacuumed better, the wall light knob was broken, so we had to sleep all night with that light on.

“The hotel is trying; breakfast area refurbished within last few months, bathroom looked redone, but we have always had minor problems whenever we book, i.e. light fixture this time, other times, toilet that wouldn't stop flushing; TV continuously cloudy. I should have also mentioned that although we were in a non-smoking room. I believe someone used the bathroom to smoke. I meant to mention to the staff - but forgot. Room 219 - we expect a room that's up to standard. This really wasn't.”

• It was near the airport.
• The room was dirty, we found hair in the tub, the sink and in the bed.

“This hotel was dirty and when we got back late the third night our key didn't work because they programmed it wrong and they didn't seem to care - it was very inconvenient and no apology was offered.”

• Staff uncooperative in room choice for older guests. No elevators!

“The second-floor room I was given reeked of cigarette smoke. Even my ten-year-old grandchild minded it. I am 71 years old, and I have bad knees and have difficulty with stairs. The hotel would not accommodate my request for a change of room. I felt like a second-class citizen, because my reservation was made through an internet service, (their comment) and therefore my needs were not considered addressable.”

• Right off the interstate.
• Front counter would not give me a receipt.

“Located right off the interstate. If traveling west, it is the last exit on the toll way before Buffalo, so don't waste your time getting back on the interstate, just take US-33W. Obviously, the reverse is true if headed east. Has a pool and gym and is located near shopping/grocers.”

• It did not seem well maintained. The room smelled horrible and the bathtub was covered in mildew.

“This hotel was inexpensive enough, and had a convenient location. However, it did not seem very well maintained. The room smelled absolutely horrible - like body odor mixed with curry. There was also mildew in the shower and I felt like I had to sanitize the sink and toilet before using.”

• The room had upper motel scale feel to it.

“Friendly staff, decent breakfast in the morning (waffles, hard-eggs, juice, fruit, etc.) and a fridge with microwave in the room. However, the rooms had a motel like feel to it. I would recommend this place budget minded folks. The place is right off the I90.”
