“Just came back from staying here and it was PERFECT! The room was very clean, perfect location, and the staff was INCREDIBLE! They gave us great suggestions for dining and directions on how to get there. It was always friendly and helpful. The Tiki bar is GREAT. The cook does an EXCEPTIONAL job and she remembers what you like. I really can't say enough about how wonderful this hotel is and how great the staff treats you. It made my first trip to the ocean very special and memorable. I will definitely go back and definitely stay at this hotel over and over again. Staff was WONDERFUL! Thank you for the perfect vacation!” Jun 1, 2009 by

“Very friendly and attentive staff. Everything was great about this place and we Apr 28, 2009 by

“We had a good stay though we had to depart 4 days early as my wife's father died while we were there.” Apr 13, 2009 by
Angie from Fishers,IN “Our room was not very clean upon arrival. We had two rooms and they were not cleaned by the housekeeper for three days in a row. We complained after the second day and the office sent a basket of snacks. Then the room was not clean on the third day either. It was finally clean after my husband complained again. I can honestly say this was the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed at.” Apr 10, 2009 by
Karen from Danese,WV
“Overall a very pleasant experience. Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean room and in a low traffic area. Close to shopping, restaurants and golf courses.” Mar 26, 2009 by
Linda from Bracey,VA
“Older hotel but staff was very helpful and nice.” Mar 19, 2009 by
Holly from Elizabeth,WV
“This hotel was horrible. The room I stayed in was in a different building from the main hotel. It was the craziest thing I have ever experienced. The room was small and you could not hardly walk around the room when the sofa bed was pulled out. There was dirty laundry in the bed and the blankets they gave us smelled like smoke. The people at the front desk were rude and did not want to help. The pool was a joke. It was small and dirty. The hot tub had sand in the bottom and looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. The bathroom was the smallest bathroom I have ever been in. There was not even a full counter. There was no plastic shower curtain, only cloth and every time we took a shower the floor got soaked. The room was dirty and overall it was a bad experience. I will never be staying at this hotel again!” Nov 14, 2008 by
BJ from Clinton Township,MI
“The hotel was very clean and nice and the staff was very nice. The view to the ocean was excellent and the size of the room was great. I will tell all my friends about this hotel. Thanks.” Oct 30, 2008 by

“There was no available onsite parking, and room changes could not be accommodated. It was not a family hotel. The bathroom sink was very small so when my 4 year old washed his hands water got all over the floor. The room was so small that when you sat at the table to eat, you had to move so that someone could enter the front door. In addition, the entry to the beach had not been maintained it was overrun with grass and bushes. I would not recommend this hotel.

“Nice moderately priced place on a quiet section of the beach. Nice Continental breakfast and pool. It has nice view and is only three stories, so is great for those who like to avoid elevators.” Oct 11, 2008 by
Chris
“Upon checkin, there was no shower curtain. Called front desk, they brought up a sheet for us to put up. Room was just okay. The beach was undergoing refurbishing, so there were times that we were asked to leave beach for construction workers. Breakfast was complimentary, but toaster did not work.” Sep 14, 2008 by
Evan from Greensboro, NC
“Good room, great price, much larger than I expected with a great view of the ocean. I was on business and only staying for 1 night so the extras like the full kitchen where of no real use to me. It was a decent room, nothing fancy, but I would definitely stay here again.” Sep 6, 2008 by
Tonda Agner
“This is very best hotel and the people that work in the office was very nice!” Sep 5, 2008 by
Robert from Prosperity, SC
“For the price this hotel met my expectations.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Stacey from Baltimore, MD
“I will be going back to Mrytle Beach. Best Western.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Bill from Alliance, OH
“Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Room was clean with great view of ocean and easy access to pool. Close to places to eat and other attractions. Over all I would return to this hotel with my family, had a great stay.” Sep 2, 2008 by
Walter from Irvington, NJ
“The hotel was in a nice location, the rooms were spacious, and the employees were very nice. One occasions I needed assistants with my luggage and one of the employees was very helpful assisting me, the pool was nice and very clean, the only negative was the limited parking spaces and the fact that their were some plumbing issues in the bathroom.” Sep 2, 2008 by
Wayne from Marion, NC
“We were surprised with the friendly staff and the clean nicely furnished room. Our hotel was a great vacation experience.” Sep 1, 2008 by
Kim
“I would recommend this hotel to family and friends. The room was clean (except a little sand)! The view was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area was clean. The location was good.” Aug 24, 2008 by
Donna from Stanley, NC
“I will go back next year!” Aug 14, 2008 by
Al from Clover, SC
“The hotel charges me for a different amount (less) than what you guys charge me.” Aug 13, 2008 by
Jen from Columbia, SC
“The hotel was very small. I thought we would be in the main building, but we were in a small 3 story building. There were cracks in the ceiling, the bathroom door was all scraped up. The pullout sofa was the size of a twin bed, not appropriate for 2 people. My worst in Myrtle Beach.” Aug 6, 2008 by
Sue from Cary, NC
“We had to stay in a satellite "hotel" of the main hotel. It was sufficient for our stay being that it was only the weekend. I would not have wanted to stay there for any longer than a weekend.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Diane from Boston, NY
“Ok, no restaurant.” Jul 30, 2008 by
Jay from Gettysburg, PA
“Not worth the $. I've stayed at 1 star hotels that were much nicer and easier to get to. The beach shouldn't make that much difference in price. Best Western should be ashamed to have their name on this hotel. Bad for their brand.” Jul 23, 2008 by
Lisa from Hartsville, SC
“The Annex building is located 4 houses down from the main hotel with no safe way to get to it except along the beach. There are only a few parking spaces in front, but people park in non places and block you in. The continental breakfast did not look appetizing and if you go 20 minutes before it's over, there is nothing left. The room was clean enough, but the space wasn't utilized well. The bathroom was very small and there is no vanity in the main living space. Their is a block O shaped pool that you can go around and around in. I don't believe that meets the requirements for a lazy river. I will not be staying at this hotel again.” Jul 23, 2008 by
Laura from Cumming, GA
“Poor parking availability, had to walk down the street to get to our room. Breakfast in the morning was nice, however, there are two annex buildings that use the breakfast facilities and there is very limited seating. People in the main building can take food back to their rooms, but this is not an option for annex stayers. Standing to eat breakfast is not fun. The rug in our room was drippy wet, we called front desk and put towels over the area (4x4) in front of the closet. Nothing was done about it except picking our towels up off the floor! We would not return to this hotel.” Jul 7, 2008 by
Eduardo from Lincoln Park, MI
“Very nice and clean room. The staff for the most part were friendly and courteous.” Jun 28, 2008 by
Shirley from Augusta, GA
“It was very nice.” Jun 27, 2008 by
Victoria from Hendersonville, NC
“The inside of the room looked nice and clean, but the location was pretty bad. We were in the annex building next to the maid/storage closet and all of the workers there were noisy. The shower and the sink had drainage problems and our phone did not work. We stayed somewhere else when we decided we wanted to stay another night.” Jun 6, 2008 by
Jenn from Lexington, SC
“The front desk staff was very considerate of accommodating my family to another room due to construction. However, the housekeeping staff did not due a thorough job of cleaning the room as we found items left by previous guest. I was disappointed because we have stayed at this resort before. Overall we made the most of our trip and the front desk staff did everything they could to make our stay pleasant.” Jun 1, 2008 by
Jane from Travelers Rest, SC
“It was under construction, which made it less desirable than normal. Parking was a problem if you did not arrive early. Beach access from the annex was good. Beach was clean. Motel was quiet. Non-smoking room was free of cigarette smell. Was satisfactory for a short stay.” May 28, 2008 by
Dorothy from Aylett, VA
“Main hotel is under renovations. Placed in off site Annex. No parking available. Poor accommodations.” May 26, 2008 by
Keith from Holyoke, MA
“Great room for the price. Our suite had a bedroom with two queen sized beds and TV, kitchenette, TV room with a queen sized bed that came out of the wall and a sleepers sofa. A family of six could easily stay and for a great price. Beach access and view from room are excellent!” May 26, 2008 by
Debbie from Hildebran, NC
“Easy check-in and out. After renovation will be much larger and attractive.” May 25, 2008 by
Brian from Maysville, NC
“Cooperative staff and located close to travel destination. I'd stay their again no problem.” May 24, 2008 by
Glen from Mt Holly, NC
“To relax and enjoy the beach its a great place.” May 23, 2008 by
Thurman from Leland, NC
“Need remodeling parking spaces closer some kind of breakfast.” May 3, 2008 by
Justin from Archbolb, OH
“Hotel was nice, other than construction going on and had to walk next door to a different building to get to the front desk. Only 11 cars can park on the side of the road where the motel is. If no spots available you have to park across the street and walk. Would not stay at again even though staff were friendly.” Apr 28, 2008 by
David from Greenville, SC
“I cannot express how displeased I was with the whole experience. I will never stay there again. They put us in a room next to the elevator, which made this buzzing noise all night. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything going on, on the rest of the floor. We could find a Coke machine that was fully stocked, and we tried 3 of them. The bathroom had hair on the floor and bathtub. The linens were dingy and stained.” Apr 24, 2008 by
Alysia from Jacksonville, NC
“Its a nice hotel, everyone is friendly and helpful. The only thing I didnt like was the construction because I was looking forward to sleeping in since it was my honeymoon and I had no kids with me!” Apr 15, 2008 by
Roger from Fountain Inn, SC
“I would not have stayed at this place.” Apr 7, 2008 by
Shahid from Lewisville, NC
“I was very pleased with the stay at the Best Western hotel in the North Myrtle Beach area. All the amenities in the room that I expected to have and also the continental breakfast up to the standard. Staff very courteous and specially the lady taking care of the breakfast area was very kind.” Apr 7, 2008 by
Linda from Charlotte, NC
“The motel was under construction much like your new commercial. We stayed a block down at an "annex". Public walkway outside our bedroom window. No parking. Asked for Hotel got motel. Toilets were the size in day care, did not come up to knee level and seat was for child. Sink was the size of a large pot. Never had complimentary breakfast because it was 1 block away with no parking and it was raining so we couldn't walk. I was the object of quite a bit of kidding for the entire trip. I would never wish this trip on anyone.” Apr 6, 2008 by
Gordon from Hampton, VA
“The hotel consisted of three separate buildings, an admin building, and an annex previously a small beachside motel and a ten story circa 1970 condo. Parking was across a small road in a convenience store lot. Room while spacious held over aged beds with faded counterpanes, grimy carpet and furnishings from a 1969 movie set. Entrance, elevators and interior bare concrete corridors lacked security. The only saving grace was the ocean front. However all exterior glass was etched by sand and salt to be near-opaque.” Apr 3, 2008 by
Steve from Salem, VA
“Excellent accommodations with exception of the parking across the street. Maybe this is why there is construction connecting the building.” Apr 2, 2008 by
Justin from Bowling Green, KY
“The room and bathroom were clean and cozy. However, the hotel was under renovation when we arrived. Into the night they were drilling right below our room. Instead of hearing the ocean we heard construction. The pool was drained and the hot tub and its surroundings were not very clean.” Apr 2, 2008 by
Steve from Liberty, SC
“Overall this hotel met my expectations. My wife and I would gladly stay there again.” Apr 1, 2008 by
Todd from Apison, TN
“Great location, staff untrained. Took over one hour to check in - I was the only person at the desk. The clerk acted like I had no reservation. I was sent to four rooms - all which were already occupied. Finally after one hour, I was sent one block away to another building to find a room. This was a two night stay; I was moved on the second day to another room. The second room was better, but the trouble was not worth it.” Apr 1, 2008 by
John from Charleston, SC
“Economical, right on beach, with breakfast and weight room and children's pool. Cleanliness is a plus. Big drawback right now is the renovation which is going on all around and affects parking areas adversely. Convenient to restaurant row and attractions in North Myrtle Beach along the strip.”
