• The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom had nice lotions, the room was very clean. All in all, a very relaxing experience.
• It took a fairly long time to get to the room as the hotel is sprawling.

“Very nice, clean hotel with fabulous beds and nicely decorated. It was one of the better Holiday Inns I have stayed at. Even though the room was right at and had a view of the planes landing at Buffalo airport, it was quite quiet. The only thing that would make this a 2.5 star hotel is its location.”

• Room was near exit and noisy due to people coming and going.

• The use of a jacuzzi after a busy day for the whole family and not just the kids and a very welcoming and comfortable room to our delight.
• Jacuzzi area was a little dirty for my liking and towels provided should be larger for drying off as we all used more than one towel.

“The hotel was quite a pleasant experience and we will come back to stay again, there seemed to be a good amount of pleasant staff to help you out and it was rather a clean and comfortable stay, the TVs were a great thing for the kids as they were bright beautiful screens and that kept them busy.”

• The room was beautiful and it was so quiet which was surprising since there was the airport right next door.
• Nothing.

• Hotel has many facilities and room is spacious. Ambiance is good.
• Hotel has many amenities, but it does not have Refrigerator, Microwave in hotel room. They do not offer complimentary breakfast.

“The hotel room we offered King bed along with Sofa pull out with Queen bed. Which was useful for us. I liked the hotel ambiance. They do have Restaurant for Breakfast, lunch and Dinner. But they do not have complimentary breakfast. I was expecting them to have at least compact fridge and microwave in room. I had some cool fruits, drinks during my travel. I did not have option to store them in room.

• The room was very nice and very comfortable. They had a flat screen TV and several options for pillows.
• They don't have an elevator. We had loaded up a luggage cart, but couldn't use it as we were on the 2nd floor.

• Very clean, great location, quiet.

• Free wifi in room, spacious room very comfortable bed.
• Outdoor pool, stairs smelled like glue to get to upper level.

• Clean.
• Very cold when not in your room.

“The hotel was fine except very cold in corridors and reception. The mattress needed to be changed. We ordered an extra cot which had broken springs and a very thin mattress. I had to make sure I put the lightest child on it. Over all it was just fine. We have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express just down the road and it was much nicer. The breakfast is a nice plus at the express.”

• The rooms were very nice and a notch above the public area decor and remodel.
• Shuttle driver was slow and not very friendly.

“Overall the staff was excellent and accommodating. The rooms are very nicely done and have 34" flat screen TVs, comfortable seating and desk area and upgraded linens. 2nd floor is stairs only (can you imagine?) but overall the hotel is a very good value and very comfortable.”

• Easy to move in, quick check in.
• WiFi is password protected, need to ask for it (it should be written either in your welcome kit or left on the table in the room), no breakfast included.

“Friendly staff, clean room and bath. The WiFi is provided but you have to bother to get a password, which turned me out of getting it. There was no breakfast included with the room as other same quality hotels does. Overall good.”

• Didn't seem nice/clean overall in general.

“Not pleased at all with the fact that when I checked in, only a two bed, smoking room and that was all they had available outside of a One King Size bed non-smoking. Needless to say, my colleague and I weren't thrilled.”

“The hotel was clean and the room was very spacious. It was fine for the 12 hours we spent there but I would not want to stay at this place if I wanted to spend any time during the day at a hotel. It is in a very convenient location and very good if you are going to fly from Buffalo airport. There is a free shuttle service which would be very convenient and the airport is about 2 minutes away from the hotel.”

• Halls were dirty, whereas rooms were clean.

“Great for families and baseball teams we were part of. Was scared when I walked in a saw state of lobby area and hallways so extremely surprised at cleanliness and upgrades done to room.”

• Excellent accommodations and short drive to shopping and dining.
• Would be nice to have an indoor pool.

“Excellent hotel for a family trip. We were traveling with another family and with one phone call we were able to make arrangements for adjoining rooms prior to our arrival. Lots of towels and supplies. Would be nice if there was an indoor pool as the weather was cool and raining which did not leave the kids much time to swim.”

• The location was perfect for the shopping that we wanted to do.
• Seats of chairs in rooms needed a good vacuuming + we found a rotten sandwich behind the dresser and change under the bed.

“Location was perfect. We called ahead for a non smoking double room with a fridge. When we got into our room the fridge was not there and we called and it was delivered in 5 mins. The location of our room was great. It was located next to an entrance and close to handicap parking. I have difficulty walking long distances so this made it easier for me getting to the car. L.”

• They supplied a roll away bed that was broken.

“The hotel was fine but could not meet my travel needs. I was stuck making due, causing discomfort and inconvenience to my family. This is not what I anticipated, nor what I would have accepted just to save $20, if I had known what was in store for me.”

• Had swimming pool, Jacuzzi, work out room, arcades, etc.
• Pool was closed while I was there during early May.

“Hotel is very nice, and the staff is friendly. There's wireless internet access everywhere in the hotel. If you didn't bring a computer there's a one readily available for use near the front desk. Only the pool and the gym are free for use. The Jacuzzi is extra charge (a different stay package). It is in fact really close to the airport, but the sound of airplanes flying by don't happen too often and isn't too loud, and when you fall asleep it's not noticeable at all. Overall it's was a good experience.”

• Close to airport which was necessary for one of the guests.
• Sagging uncomfortable bed. Extremely outdated furniture. Stuffy smell in room, leak stained roof. Noisy heating system that kept us awake all night.

“The staff at the front desk was polite enough, as was the cleaning staff. However, in addition to the problems mentioned above, the cleaning staff was knocking on our door at 8:30 am announcing that it was housekeeping to clean. I obviously sent her away! Check-out was a 12:00.”

• The room was a good size and comfortable, quiet and private. We were able to park near an entrance that was close to our room.
• The restaurant food was not the quality we are used to. No breakfast include.

“This is a good hotel. It is clean, comfortable and nice. For the price we paid, we have no real complaints. Next time though, we would eat our breakfast out.”

• I signed up for a 3 star and this was no 3 star hotel.

“Room was clean. Good location. Friendly staff. Has all the basic. The gym was terrible, no indoor pool and a little noisy with the plan landing but that was expected being next the airport.”

“I traveled with friends. A family member became critically ill and since the entire amount of the stay (2 rooms x 2 nights) had been billed to one of the gals credit card, the hotel was very kind in giving us a refund.”

• The room was filthy, and the staff was snippy.

“The room was filthy and outdated. I can accept the outdated, but the dirt on the floor and mold in the shower was too much. I was afraid to sleep on the sheets, so I slept in my clothes. I checked out day early and lost money just to stay somewhere clean. If being a 3 star hotel simply means that you have a full service restaurant, then please state that in your ratings. I went down the street to a 2 1/2 star, and was pleasantly surprised and very impressed. The accommodations were superior in every way, and were priced comparably.”

“This hotel is close to the airport, and thats all you can expect. It is way overpriced for what you get. We had to park around back with the semi trucks that were hogging the parking lot with their engines running all night. We entered the hotel from a rear metal rear door to an industrial hallway, and had to lug our suitcases up the stairs past a metal ladder to the roof to get to a mediocre room.”

• High price for a less than mediocre room.

“Very average layout and decor. Although I was in a non-smoking room, there was a constant faint smell of cigarettes. As I sat in the economy size toilet and looked around the bathroom, I noticed that the wallpaper looked like it was installed by a blind man using blunt-nosed, dull child scissors and the corners each had a pile of dirt and pubic hair. The room had obviously been painted at one time and the parking lot handyman they probably hired obviously didn't bother to mask off the trim. The friendliest people at the hotel were the very large group of bikers that partied at the entrance the entire time we were there (they were great-honestly!). The staffs I suppose were zombies. Also, I wasn't happy after paying an additional $10 for a cot. Next time I'll just rent the cot and stay in the parking lot with the bikers.”

“The showers had black mold on the shower curtain and along the lines of the bath tub. The rooms were very small, and the beds were the most uncomfortable beds that I have slept on. They had nothing to offer. I have stayed at many holiday Inns and this was the worse.”

• My bed was not changed & had to request new linens.

“Hotel needs attention on its cleanliness. Bed the first night had not been changed. Next day they did not clean our room while we were away. They did apologize and were fairly nice about it. The hotel is in poor condition for a 3 star hotel and we felt like we were robbed!”

• The interior (beyond the lobby) needs serious updating. It was dark and outdated.

• Bed was comfy.
• Too dusty wasn't not a 3 star for sure. old tired rooms, restaurant was terrible.

“I will never again stay there. Hot tub was cranked way too high. The rooms where old and tired looking. But the bed and pillows where awesome. At 7 am you could hear the girls yelling out room service to all the doors. It was a maze to just get the main desk or pool. There was dust everywhere in the room. You could run your hand along the desk and see it. Don't even get me started on the restaurant. Slow service, order was wrong, check was wrong. Eat at dennys! There is nothing to do in walking distance.”

• Woke up several times by people arriving.

“Felt room was overpriced. Outside of the convenience of a shuttle and nearness to the airport, it was noisy from jets and late arrivals. Typical moderate room with extra accessories that were not needed.”

• The staff did their utmost to satisfy my needs. Can't blame them.
• There was a clicking sound in the wall that kept me up half the night. I am a light sleeper. Also the hallways were noisy and the doors were noisy.

“The staff tried really hard to please. Love that buffalo neighbor spirit. The amenities and accommodations could have been cleaner and less noisy.”

• We really enjoyed the pool and the restraint.
• We would have liked breakfast included especially traveling with children.

“The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. The restraint was convenient, yet a little pricey. Local phone calls were not included which made it difficult to reach family. The rooms were large enough fit a portable crib and allow our older child room to move. We would have preferred a hotel with breakfast included to help with the morning routine and savings in the wallet.”
