“The room was horrible the smoke detector was hanging form the ceiling from its wires. The continental breakfast was just fruit and yogurt. The staff was not friendly they were not rude, just not friendly. The hotel was in an area full of construction and there was no enough parking. We had to park 5 minutes away from the hotel.”

“After checking in we found our room with the door wide open (how welcoming!) And all the furniture piled on the beds (the staff apologized profusely). Upon entering the room there was an odor of cheap men's cologne gone bad although I assume it was air freshener. The conversations in the adjoining rooms were entertaining as the walls were paper thin. The back door was open to anyone who cared to walk in for a tour. The mold on the walls, in the coffeemaker and in the bathroom was multiplying nicely. Each time we used the toilet we prayed it would flush after a five minute agonizing pathetic swirl. After a long day of shopping we searched for a parking spot and found nothing available after 10 pm. Dragging our weary selves into the inn we found we were unable to get into our room as the staff believed we had checked out (although the room was not cleaned). The staff apologized profusely. The beds were lumpy and the blankets full of holes. I must say that the staff (when not asleep at the desk) was very good at apologizing. We think this inn should follow the example of the building next door and succumb to a demolition!”

• Bathroom was outdated. Needs upgrading.

• It was very close to the airport and provided a shuttle to the airport.
• The bathroom was unclean and hairs everywhere. 5 hours after I complained, it was still not cleaned.

“I arrived at the hotel with my girlfriend around 4pm. When I entered the room, I noticed that the bathroom was not cleaned. There were hairs of various assortments on the sink, on the floor, on the toilet and in the tub. I went down to the front desk and ask that it be cleaned. The lady at the front said that it would take about an hour. My girlfriend and I went out for about five hours and when we arrived back at the room, the bathroom still had not been cleaned. When I called the front desk, the clerk apologized, offered a credit on the room for the inconvenience and sent someone up to clean. The gentleman who cleaned the bathroom was very nice, and did get the bathroom in excellent shape. However, the next day when I checked out, there was no knowledge at the front desk regarding a credit on my stay. I actually had to leave a message for the manager explaining in detail the situation and request a call back. As of the time of this post, I have yet to receive a call or an apology from any one other than manager, the gentleman who cleaned the room.”

• The location was very close to the local airport.
• Not very clean, staff was unhelpful; facilities were not up to standard, limited parking.

“This place is a bottom of the barrel economy hotel. Even for the price we paid, we would have been better off staying in our car. The place wasn't clean, sheets/towels/toiletries were missing each night, the staff was moody and unhelpful, the breakfast was horrible (even the milk was warm) and we couldn't find parking at 10PM.”

“This hotel should not have a rating, I have stayed in a number of hotel rooms from 5 star resorts to bargain basement motel rooms, this hotel was worst then I would let my dog sleep in. If I had not already paid for the hotel and having an early flight the next morning I would have walked out.”

• The front desk staff was very nice and pool was warm.
• The housekeeping staff was using inappropriate language and didn't keep the place clean.

“Overall, my stay at the quality inn was good. The housekeeping in general of the hotel could have been improved and the exercise room was poor. However, the front desk staff was very nice and very helpful. The continental breakfast was very good and the pool was clean and warm. The room was very clean and comfortable.”

“Parking area at the back of the hotel is not well late. Back door is always open (suppose only for guest with room access card). Bathroom is so small and I could not even bend down. Mattress and boxes are very dirty. star rating for this hotel should downgrading to 1-star.”

• Located right across the street from the airport, but not a very safe area for walking at night.
• It is old and dingy, but obviously the cleaning staff does the best they can.

“This hotel is quite old and dingy but as clean as can be. The staff was all very nice and the continental breakfast was quite good. If you are flying out of buffalo, the location is fabulous for the price.”

• Nice greeting upon arrival, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast.
• Maids were not rude, but certainly non personable. Numerous trucks using parking facilities that were extremely noisy in early a.m.

“Excellent stay and location. Five minutes from galleria mall and across from airport with little noise from planes. Would recommend this as a low priced convenient hotel that was very clean and comfortable.”

“We were double charged, We extended our stay a day on and were charged an additional 46 dollars. Then the hotel locked us out of our room until we paid an additional 83 per night rate. ”

• Very close to airport, shopping, etc. Easy to locate.
• Noise outside in parking lot, early in morning you could hear vehicles warming up, etc. Not too much of a problem.

• Toilet ran all night and TV reception was terrible.

“Although it was very inexpensive, you do expect some things to be in order at a national chain hotel. When we told the staff about the TV and the toilet, they said there was nothing that could be done because it was the weekend and maintenance was not available. They also said the hotel was full and we could not be moved. I would expect this from a roadside motel, but not from a chain. Also, not the fault of the hotel, but we stayed at this hotel last year and the road it is on was all torn up due to construction. One year later and the road are still all torn up. It made getting into the hotel parking lot an adventure every time.”

• Gave us a smoking room and said you booked that.

“This had to have been the worst hotel experience ever. My sister and I arrived at 5:00 Thursday night and they were scrambling to find us a room (not prepared) after waiting 20 minutes for him to come back, he said that he had a smoking room for us. I am allergic to smoke and told them that I reserved a non-smoking room. I asked if I could keep my car in their parking lot while we were gone until Mon. for our inconvenience. I was running in the Chicago marathon on Sunday and smoking really affects my breathing, but, I had no choice but to sleep in that room. The whole night we heard the people next door having a party or something and we got no sleep. I am also writing a letter to Comfort Inn because the girl behind the desk was very rude. I have been in the customer service business for 25 years, so, I know what is acceptable behavior and what's not, and that wasn't. ”

• Excellent manager and staff. My stay happened to fall during a natural disaster in Buffalo. I couldn't be more pleased with the staff.

“This was a fantastic choice. My stay happened to fall during a natural disaster in Buffalo NY. The manager was more than accommodating making sure not only stranded travelers but local residents as well had a place to stay. She made sure there was food and bottled water. The staff was excellent, they worked round the clock to ensure our safety and comfort. Front desk person rescued people from the airport, got food and water, blankets, pillows, I am sure he even cleaned rooms. He was the reason the hotel ran so very smoothly in this terrible storm. Fantastic job to the entire staff!”

• It was really close to the airport (right across the street), there's more in a review.
• The "continental breakfast". I got there at 8 am and there was hardly anything left.

“When we got ready to book our hotel, we read reviews of this place "needing serious renovations done" while that's true people need to look at it as we're only here temporarily and for fifty dollars a night I wasn't expecting the Hilton. It was clean always, the people were nice, the only thing it lacked was the "continental breakfast". But again it's not a Hilton- but we got what we paid for.”

• Mold/Mildew, scum in tub ice machine outside my door!

“This was the worst hotel I have stayed at in my life. I don't know what was worse, the asthma attack from the mold & mildew, the stained scummy tub, the nasty growth of some sort on the ceiling (in Room 403)in the bathroom, or the ice machine right out side my door that dropped off periodically during the night! Will not be returning! I must say the breakfast was one of the best I've seen in a long time. The lobby was clean, and the staff helpful.”
