“The hotel is in a great location but failed to have some amenities commonly found in similar hotels. Exercise room is inadequate. TV has no game input. No pay per view services, etc.”

• Very convenient for where I was going to be during the day; close to interstate.
• We did have to wait for an attendant at the desk. I was surprised that someone was not right there.

• The staff had a toothbrush when I needed it!
• Very hard location to get to, only one way to get in. if you missed you ended up on the interstate!

“Very clean and good beds. Towels were a bit bare. Staff was helpful, good breakfast. Hot tub lacked security (screened in windows were not secure).”

• The breakfast included fresh Belgian waffles.
• The curtains don't close in the room.

“Moderate room, cheap. The coffee maker only had decaf and the curtains in the room don't close, so if you have to sleep during any daylight hours, this hotel is not advisable. On a brighter note, the continental breakfast was pretty good with fresh Belgian waffles.”

• The waffles for breakfast were great
• No lift, and lots of different levels (meaning lots of stairs) because the hotel is built on a slope.

“The hotel is clean, neatly presented and well furnished for a two star hotel. The bathroom was a bit small in my room, but certainly acceptable for the price. Breakfast was both cook and serve for your self (but labels were clear and equipment in good condition). Staff was friendly. The hotel is a bit out of the way unless you have your own car, so access to facilities wasn't great. Generally, highly recommended for the price.”

• The front desk staff was very pleasant and the rooms were very cozy like.
• The smoking rooms had a little bit of stronger smoke smell and the hot tub could of been a little bit hotter, continental breakfast could have been better

“We were very pleased with the suite we had at the hotel and impressed with the security of the building and the location of the hotel easy to find and to get to places. Hey could improve the hotel a little more by including more items in the continental breakfast, making the hot tub a little more hotter and trying to tone done the smoke smell in the smoking rooms, all it took for me to tolerate it was purchasing a bottle of air freshener. My stay was a pleasant one with very pleasant staff members at the desk willing to be very helpful. I would stay there again.”

“We needed a place to stay for one night while our hardwood floors were redone. We are local so we knew exactly where the hotel was located, however I could definitely see how some would have a hard time finding it. Small but very nice lobby and the person at the front desk was very professional. Check-in was a breeze. The walk to the room was strange, down 3 stairs, up a full staircase, down 3 stairs. The room was clean and everything was in good working condition. No issues with the bathroom. Small fridge, microwave and coffee pot were included. Bed was firm, but fairly comfortable. Very quiet. Continental breakfast was what I would expect. Pastries, waffles, cereal, juice, milk, coffee, etc. Check-out was fast and effortless. I would recommend this hotel for business or passing through. This wouldn't be my first choice for a final destination/vacation.”

• The rooms and facilities are far above anything Ive ever experienced at the same price level.
• The front desk staff was too busy at personal conversations to help customers.

“Overall, this hotel is a wonderful value for the money. The rooms are very spacious and clean, and the facilities are very well maintained. The front desk staff may be a bit short, but I'd be willing to deal with it for this price.”

• Convenient to shopping and restaurants.
• Furniture was worn out, did not clean thoroughly or often enough.

“I probably would not stay there again. Cleanliness was iffy at best and furniture worn out. Continental breakfast was sub-par, pastries were on the verge of stale, and coffee was warm not hot. In general, the place was less than ok.”

• Very clean, well appointed, very helpful staff.
• Fragrance in the room was excessive. Had my wife (who has serious allergies) been with me, we would have had to go elsewhere.

• Very clean and comfortable, excellent for the price. Above expectations.
• Not convenient to RTP or newer parts of Cary; it's just off US1 near South Hills.

“Pleasant surprise. My room had firm King bed, roomy, with small kitchenette tucked in a "nook" so not in the way. Quiet, clean and in good repair. No lounge chair. Free wireless internet! Only small complaint is TV reception (cable) was marginal. ”

• The Continental breakfast was of good quality, with multiple selections and variety. I especially appreciated the boiled eggs for low carb needs.
• The room seemed substandard to me. The closet especially was in a delapidated state. The room, although non smoking, smelled of smoke anyway.

“A fine hotel if just traveling through town for business. Ok, if you are just stopping over for the night from a road trip. Not the best experience for enjoying and celebrating a 9th wedding anniversary. There was a small outdoor swimming pool area that seemed clean but we were unable to take advantage of it to really be able to fully assess it. In general though, I found the facilities not up to my expectations. Location was difficult to find and hard to get to off a very busy road. The small sign was easily missed since it was at the gas station and Waffle House entrances. The staff, lobby, and dining area was wonderful. The room itself was much less impressive. The carpet seemed old and dirty, the smell of smoke was strong even in the non-smoking room. Lastly, the sliding mirrored doors on the closet were about to fall off their track. Our one night stay was more than long enough for me at this facility.”

• It was the closest hotel to where we were playing ball.
• The room was not cool enough for my personal preference.

• Housekeeping entered my room (while I was sleeping) even though a "Privacy Please" tag hung from the doorknob.

“Front desk staff was very helpful and pleasurable to deal with. Housekeeping staff did not speak any English and entered my room (while I was sleeping) even though a "Privacy Please" tag hung from the doorknob. Despite that I would recommend this hotel to others staying in the Cary/Raleigh area.”

“The hotel was in the process of redecorating. The first room that we were given, the paint smell was so bad that we went back and asked for another room. There were paint chips through out the hotel because of the redecorating. No other rooms with the same bed type etc. were available. But we were able to get a room with 2 double beds for the night. I guess the highlight of our stay was the complementary breakfast the next morning, the waffles were great.”
