• Good hotel for the price I paid on priceline.
• Refrigerator was loud and room was next to elevator and it too was loud.

“Hotel was located in a very good area. Room was very clean and service was excellent. Frig was some what loud and room near elevator was noisey at times but for the price I paid it was a pretty good deal.”

• Free apples, oranges, cookies, coffee, and internet.
• Location not near beach or airport.

“We were hoping to be on the water. Ended up having to rent a car to get around since this hotel was not near the beach and would not transfer our one night say to their property on the beach. A nice place to say for business travelers.”

• Clean & attractive; access to computer.
• Not east of hwy 17-must drive to beach; charged for local call; crowded parking lot.

“I requested a hotel within Myrtle beach coastline, and this facility is not located east of highway 17, so it should be taken out of that area. The facility itself was nice and would be fine for business travel, but definitely not a good location to enjoy the beach.”

• Nothing.
• Traffic way too busy and no outdoor pool.

“Was not a short or nice walk to Barefoot Landing, and was said to be at that location. Without an outdoor pool, this was a very uncomfortable stay at a hotel. Will stay near the beach from now on, since a hotel in a location like this does not suit my needs at all. The name of this hotel should be Motel 6 or Best Western for the quality.”

• Service was quick and friendly.
• On the last day, there was a cockroach in our room.

“This hotel was very nice. Service was great and we got everything we requested. The location is good, but getting out of the parking lot can take a while, because there are no traffic lights. On the last day, we found a cockroach in our room. Besides those two things, this was an excellent hotel.”

• The staff was friendly, and the room was good for the rate we received.
• The local calls were an extra charge.

“This hotel was outstanding. The courtyard barefoot landing is in a wonderful location, just minutes from everything. The rooms were neat and clean and the staff was kind and friendly.”

• The bed was very comfortable and had wonderful linens.
• I enjoyed everything about it.

“When I arrived I was nervous because I was checking in late (about 9:30 pm) but the desk clerk was very nice and was ready for me. The room was very clean and homey. There is also a really nice Workout room, hot tub and pool on the first floor. I plan to stay here again and again.”

“This is my third stay at Courtyard Marriott in Myrtle Beach. I love the place, location, and service. My room was always clean, the food was great. I took advantage of exercise facility as well. I have nothing but good things to say for Courtyard Marriott.”

• Was able to make fast accommodations when room was not satisfactory.
• My first room was unsatisfactory, the air conditioning was broken and the room was musty.

“The first room the air was broken. The second room was better. The location was not that great. The street was very busy. The pool was very small and a little green. The cleaning staff was very accommodating, but the front desk people were not very friendly. I only had two desk people smile at my family during our stay there. I asked recommendations on sight seeing and the response was less than helpful. I felt the breakfast was not that great and the price was too high.”

• The Myrtle Beach location was great, close to restaurants and attractions.
• Indoor Pool was cloudy, beds were sagging, and some fixtures did not work.

“I've stayed in many Courtyard Hotels. This one was by far the most run down. It could be a very nice hotel again with some upgrades. The pool was cloudy and the problem was not fixed in the five days we were there. TV volume control did not work properly. The beds needed to be replaced, saggy. Some of the fixtures did not work. I saw a recent TV commercial where Courtyard was going to upgrade their hotels. This has not happened here yet. The staff was friendly and helpful and the price we got on the room was very good. But once again, not up to the quality of what a Courtyard should be. There were several dozen teenage girls booked there for a day camp which made noisy evenings. The North Myrtle Beach location was fantastic and very convenient to the whole area. The outside of the hotel was landscaped very nicely. The inside needs a good overhaul!”

• The room was nice, except for the 2 large roach type bugs my husband killed.
• Too hard to get out on highway. Indoor pool water was too cold.

• The sheets and pillows were wonderful.
• They should use queen size beds instead of doubles.

• I was really happy with the quality of the hotel and its staff.
• Courtyards usually include breakfast but this one didn't. They just had a breakfast buffet you had to pay for.

“Nice location. Close to outlet shopping and the beach. Also close to Barefoot Landing and entertainment locations. Its on the main drag so getting into or out of the parking lot had its challenges at times. But the hotel was set back far enough that you didn't get a lot of noise.”

• The location was very convenient to everything at myrtle beach.
• An odd mix of clientele, mostly African Americans.

“The hotel itself was not as clean as i would like. In the morning, they couldn't seem to keep the coffee carafe filled causing us to wait all for mornings.”

• Nothing, I left two days early because the hotel was a joke!
• Everything!

“Handicap rooms don't have handicapped features such as hand held shower head or a walk in shower. The ice machine on the fourth floor was broken from the time we got there until we left. We left early and went to Gatlinberg, leaving two nights hotel paid for. I know why we stopped staying at Marriot and went to Hampton or Holiday Inn. Getting in and out of this location was difficult at best!”

• Location of the hotel was exactly what I was looking for.
• Other guests were loud and stayed up all hours of his night.

“The hotel was great as far as the property and the staff, for the most part, was concerned. However, other guests were very loud late at night, and were also hanging out in the halls, lobby, and playing loud music and talking loudly in the parking lot, and nothing seemed to be done about it.”

• The location was fine. I like the friendly people working at this hotel.
• The prices of food and snacks. Not being aware of the smoke free rooms. The asking of a credit card after paying for the room months ago.

“I would stay again. The price was good. Knowing more about what is required will make it more relaxing if there is another stay.”

• We enjoyed meeting in the "living room" area which is large and comfortable with a fireplace and attractive decoration.
• There is nothing I don't like.

“Our group of fourteen greatly enjoyed our stay courtyard in n. Myrtle beach. The only drawback had to drive to the beach, but the price was so agreeable that we didn't mind. The hotel was very clean, decorated comfortably and attractively. The young ones really liked the computer and pool, and all of us enjoyed the "living room" area off the lobby. We had a great vacation. Thank you!”

• I liked the convenience.
• Our air conditioner stopped working on our final day and night there.

“It was very nice and we were pleasantly surprised with the refrigerator and microwave in the room. The lobby was spacious and the staff was very pleasant about giving directions, checking us in and out, and cleaning our room each day.”

• This hotel was located in close proximity to everything I needed to access.
• I do not know that there was anything about this hotel I disliked.

“I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. The location was excellent. While the room may have been on the smaller side, that did not bother us because we did not spend very much time in the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful.”

• Comfortable beds, quiet; but needing new decor.
• The strong smell of chlorine from the pool as you comes in the lobby.

“For the location and price it was great. The beds were the most comfortable we have ever stayed in at a hotel. The people were friendly and accommodating. Even though it was clean and tidy I was disappointed in the outdated and worn decor of a "Marriott". I would stay there again.”
