- The bedding was incredible for the price.
- The halls and common areas were a little sub par.
“I was very pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the room was in this price ranger. A flat screen plasma TV, easy Wife and exceptional bedding were a steal. The water pressure and toiletries were also solid for this level. The breakfast is better than your standard cold continental and the trays and convenience cups were a nice touch - you could take a full tray up to your room with no hassle.”

- I requested non smoking and received smoking. Heater rattled badly.
“The staff was friendly, but the room was smoking and I didn't realize until the evening when I was settled in. I had requested non smoking. Very disappointing as I don't smoke and the bed smelled awful. Also, when turning up the heat the fan rattled extremely loud.”

“This hotel was great like I said very friendly, clean, pleasant and great location. I would stay there again. Only this time during the pool schedule because I have the kids. This is not a vacation hotel for families. we were doing business and took the kids with us if we were to book a hotel for a family vacation I would not want to book this hotel, only because there is no food, place for kids to play but I felt it was perfect for a business trip. ”

- They did not know the answers to my questions.
“First, this motel did not have any microwaves or refrigerators in their room for people staying for an extended stay. Second, I was told that my debit card was charged for a hold of $25 dollars when in fact it had been charged $50. Third, I had been told that the local calling area was everything in the 919 area code and that I would not be charged for calls in this area code. In fact, I was charged over $6 for a call. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.”

- We called and confirmed two double beds and initially received a single king sized bed. We had some difficulty in switching to another room.

“Near the Medical Center & 20 miles from the Univ. of North Carolina (Chapel Hill). Its convenient to freeways and has ample food, retail shopping in the area (there is a Wal-Mart across the street). The facility was clean and breakfast was good, the staff was friendly. Overall, a good hotel for travelers, but not in particular for vacationers (you may want something closer to the "action").”

- One full bed for two people! This is not industry standard!
“When I requested a cot the associated I spoke with was very curt, to the point of rudeness, in telling me that all their cots were in use and there were no other rooms available. When I said I had requested a double room, but we only had one full-size bed, he said that was all I had requested. I told him a standard double room has either two full beds or at least one queen bed. He argued with me and said they had no more cots or rooms available. He did NOT offer an opology!”

- The free highspeed internet, the house keeping staff and the breakfast were the best things at this location.
“I guess I really can't complain about the physical properties of this location. The front desk staff (white female) that was working the day I checked in was very unhelpful and unfriendly. The two men and other women that were there through out my stay were helpful and curtious. Unfortunately my first impression was the lasting impression. The stress she caused on my first day could have been resolved so easily had she taken the time.”

- The room had not been cleaned very well. Used soap and food left.

There was a danish left on the night stand. We were told that was the only non-smoking room left. We decided to stay because I would not have been able to stand a smoking room.”

- The staff was rude and asked us to leave before our discussed check out time.

We discused a certain check out time with the front desk and they started calling the room and knocking on the door about two to three hours prior to our check out time. We were not impressed to say the least.”
