“This was rated as a 2 star property but could be a 3 star. The staff was very efficient and friendly. They even staffed the continental breakfast and handled it like fine restaurant waitresses.” Jun 14, 2006 by
Barnett from Cary, NC
“Overall it was a good experience. It is clean and the service adequate. It is in a good location with access to most major roads nearby. There are restaurants in walking distance.” Apr 18, 2006 by
Donna from Ronkonkoma, NY
“This hotel was great like I said very friendly, clean, pleasant and great location. I would stay there again. Only this time during the pool schedule because I have the kids. This is not a vacation hotel for families. we were doing business and took the kids with us if we were to book a hotel for a family vacation I would not want to book this hotel, only because there is no food, place for kids to play but I felt it was perfect for a business trip. ” Apr 12, 2006 by
Darvin from Greenville, SC
“Over all nice place to stay.” Apr 5, 2006 by
Patrick from Tonawanda, NY
“Definitely a nice hotel in a very nice, safe location. I would strongly consider staying there again if I returned the Cary area.” Mar 16, 2006 by
Jim from Richmond, VA
“I was very pleased with the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the facility. It suited my needs perfectly.” Mar 11, 2006 by
Martha from Fort Wright, KY
“First, this motel did not have any microwaves or refrigerators in their room for people staying for an extended stay. Second, I was told that my debit card was charged for a hold of $25 dollars when in fact it had been charged $50. Third, I had been told that the local calling area was everything in the 919 area code and that I would not be charged for calls in this area code. In fact, I was charged over $6 for a call. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Feb 27, 2006 by

“This hotel was an excellent 2 star hotel. I would be happy to recommend it to anyone.” Aug 30, 2005 by
Tom from Clarksville, VA
“The motel is very nice. Do not give them your credit card. They charged my credit card hundreds of dollars for 57.00 in charges. Get all prices in writing.” Jun 29, 2005 by
Matt from Winston-Salem, NC
“The hotel did not hold a room with two beds as we had requested. We were lucky in that another guest arrived at the desk and needed to switch to a room with a single bed.” May 23, 2005 by
Jennifer from Ypsilanti, MI
“Near the Medical Center & 20 miles from the Univ. of North Carolina (Chapel Hill). Its convenient to freeways and has ample food, retail shopping in the area (there is a Wal-Mart across the street). The facility was clean and breakfast was good, the staff was friendly. Overall, a good hotel for travelers, but not in particular for vacationers (you may want something closer to the "action").” May 18, 2005 by
Ellen C. from Charlotte, NC
“When I requested a cot the associated I spoke with was very curt, to the point of rudeness, in telling me that all their cots were in use and there were no other rooms available. When I said I had requested a double room, but we only had one full-size bed, he said that was all I had requested. I told him a standard double room has either two full beds or at least one queen bed. He argued with me and said they had no more cots or rooms available. He did NOT offer an opology!” May 18, 2005 by
Steve from Alexandria, VA
“Overall good but had a smelly smoking room and the linens were very itchy/scratchy for those who have sensitive skin.” May 17, 2005 by
Sara from Charlotte, NC
“We enjoyed staying at the Hampton Inn of Cary. It was clean and convenient to where we needed to be. The breakfast was plentiful and had a good selection.” Mar 9, 2005 by
Pam from Richmond, VA
“I guess I really can't complain about the physical properties of this location. The front desk staff (white female) that was working the day I checked in was very unhelpful and unfriendly. The two men and other women that were there through out my stay were helpful and curtious. Unfortunately my first impression was the lasting impression. The stress she caused on my first day could have been resolved so easily had she taken the time.” Feb 14, 2005 by
Norman from Wilmington, NC
“New hotel. Very clean. Good location.” Feb 12, 2005 by
Robin from Somerset, VA
“The appearance of the hotel was nice. The staff could had been more friendly and accomodating. The hotel room was not cleaned very well. Used soap was left in the tub. There was a danish left on the night stand. We were told that was the only non-smoking room left. We decided to stay because I would not have been able to stand a smoking room.” Jan 23, 2005 by
William from Tarboro, NC
“The overall stay was ok, the beds were hard, the staff was very very rude in my opinion. We discused a certain check out time with the front desk and they started calling the room and knocking on the door about two to three hours prior to our check out time. We were not impressed to say the least.” Dec 6, 2004 by
Robert S. from Columbus “The Hampton Inn was a wonderful facility compared to other facilities where I've stayed that were supposed to be three and four stars. The staff was kind and courteous. It was a very pleasant stay.” Nov 10, 2004 by
“It was a great choice!! Full service hotel conveniently located to where I needed to be. Thanks!!” Hotel Representatives:
