• I liked that they offered free breakfast, even though we did not take advantage of this option.
• The hotel room had an awful smell.

“It is an extended stay hotel, so our room was spacious with a kitchen. Great if you're staying long term and aren't looking for an updated or attractive room.”

• Loved the hotels partnership with the health spa across the street. It was fabulous. Very friendly staff.
• Everything was lovely.

“What a great place! Quiet, pleasant, and friendly. The free pass, and the health spa across the street was a total surprise. We have never seen such a beautiful spa. Hot tubs as big as living rooms, kiddie pools, twisty slides, lap pools, dry steam saunas, smoothie bars, massage, beauty salons, and state of the art exercise equipment. Just amazing!”

• I liked the room especially the fireplace and cleanliness.
• Rooms were not ready at 4:00 PM.

“This time the breakfast was disappointing. Waffle iron was broken, pancakes were not good. I do enjoy the room and relaxing there. Wish there were more specials.”

• Clean, quiet, had nice amenities, high speed Internet, hot breakfast, nice exercise room, and great location.

• I liked the convenience not only in location, but the room itself. Kitchen is great and a fireplace.
• The room needs a more comfortable chair. I am short and the chairs are too large.

“I love staying here, but many times it does not appear when I try for the 1/2 price. We did live in that area and have family and friends, but like to stay here when we go.”

• This hotel is pet friendly very clean, welcoming and served a full free breakfast.
• There is a *surprise 75.00 nonrefundable fee for your pets stay.

• After a problem with the A/C, the staff was very helpful. Hope to come here often.
• Noise from other rooms/animal growled at me in hallway.

“Excellent place to stay for several days. As we have to go to the area for health problems, we really need this special rate and like a clean environment in which to stay. We like the brightness of the rooms and convenience. We use to live in this area and really enjoy coming back here.”

• The convenience to Cary, a kitchen.
• This was a non-smoking hotel, at 1:00 AM my room was engulfed with cig. Smoke. I complained because my bill was put under my door at the exact time,

“Continuation of problem. The cig. Smoke continued for about 10-15 minutes and then cleared. I felt like the person putting the bill under the door was probably smoking, but was told the next day that it could not have been. They claim the vents brought the smoke from another room. I had not smelled smoke before or ever when staying here. I am highly allergic to cig. Smoke and was very upset. Also there were hairs on the floor in the bath. I really like this place and would like to go back, but they did not take my complaint seriously.”

• This was my first experience with residence. I was impressed and enjoyed having a kitchen and the excellent continental breakfast.
• Parking was a problem. Not enough. Noise through the walls was a problem.

“I really enjoyed this hotel and hope I get this one next time I go to carry. We go for business and pleasure as we use to live there.”

• Just about everything. Clean, comfortable, great area.
• Not as easy to find as some motels.

“One of the nicest places I have stayed in years. Clean, friendly, lots of parking, great price. Anyone in Raleigh should definitely try to find this place, as good a value as it gets!”

• Great food in the morning, fun happy hour in the evening. (all complimentary).
• I wish it had two double beds instead of a single in the suite.

“This was a great experience to stay here. Appliances were mostly full-sized in the suite. It was clean and the staff was friendly, especially the free hot breakfast staff and the evening happy hour staff. ”

• The hotel was like home away from home for me.
• Can't think of anything.

“This hotel is great. They have a great helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was a plus. The room I had was very nice and comfortable. It was like being home for me and my girlfriend. If I had to stay anywhere in Raleigh or carry again I would stay in the residence inn.”

• Very clean and well arranged, furniture in good quality.
• Hotel tried to give me a smoke room which is not what I wanted.

• New bedding and very clean.
• Terrible 70's artwork & blue hallway carpeting.

“This hotel is located in a clean well maintain area of Cary - South of Raleigh. There is not too much near the property in the way of nightlife as it is in a office park, however it has great access to major highways. The morning breakfast was excellent for a complimentary breakfast and the breakfast team was very organized, clean, and diligent about keeping everything well stocked and fresh. The front desk staff was professional although their uniforms did not fit properly and were somewhat sloppy (untucked shirts etc...).”

• This hotel was consistent with the overall Marriott high standards.
• Would have preferred a king size bed.

“There is a reason that the Marriott chain is so popular with travelers This Residence Inn is no exception. Great staff, clean rooms, everything working, and a good location too (as long as you have a car.).”

• We couldn't stay longer :-)

“It was in a very clean, newer area of the Triangle. The hotel was very quiet and relaxed--I thought we were the only people in our hall until the second day! The service people were great. Excellent hotel, excellent value.”

• Separate bedroom / hot breakfast.
• No indoor pool.

“Fantastic room, great staff and great breakfast. The separate bedroom makes all the difference in the world. One problem I had was with the room capacity. We have 3 children. The reservation associate told me that according to the fire code, we could not stay in this room with 3 kids. So in theory, my wife and I would have had to stay in separate rooms splitting up our toddler and infant children. We stayed anyway in 1 room, but I don't know if we were supposed to.”

• Luxury suites, with evening reception, best hotel I stayed at in many years!

• Comfortable and clean room; nice quiet location.
• Breakfast area crowded in morning.

“This is a newer style Residence Inn, located in a business park-like area, so exterior of hotel was quiet. Very courteous check-in agent. Room was clean and comfortable. Had to get ice at front desk, as frig icemaker had none. Very satisifed with stay.”

• Very comfortable accomodations. Cozy and nice.
• Mattress level was too low to floor.

“The Residence Inn in Cary, NC was a great place to stay. Family friendly and close to a lot of shopping and dining. Having a separate bedroom is a plus for those staying with children. I especially liked having an outdoor grill (there were 2!) and a great picnic area. Having a complimentary generous hot breakfast buffet was the icing on the cake. You will love it!”

• We had to take our luggage through the lobby.

“It was great to have a separate bedroom, since ourgrandson used the pull-out sofa for his bed. It would have been nice to have two separate bedrooms with a bath in between (or two bathrooms), but that would probably be more expensive. The price was right, too!”
