• The lobby was attractive and the gym was nice.
• There was no complimentary gift (popcorn, water, etc.).

“The hotel was clean but I did experience finding something under my bed after being there for two days. That made it evident that the cleaning staff was not being thorough with the cleaning after someone leave. Otherwise the hotel was pretty good.”

“Nice hotel that met all my expectations as a business traveler. Staff was friendly and helpful. Easy to get to and close to highway and key traffic areas. My only complaint is not having access to local restaurants in Cary that deliver. My phone book was for Raleigh and none delivered to Cary. Hotel has a mini mart inside to buy snacks and beverages, so that was nice since I couldn't find a restaurant who would deliver.”

• Beautiful setting, the friendliness of the staff, clean and quiet.
• We had no complaints or concerns.

“Beautiful updated setting with a friendly, helpful staff. I was impressed with how quiet it was and how clean. The room included a large worktable and couch. We have traveled frequently and this might well have been the most perfect stay we ever experienced. Hats off to all involved in the operation of this great motel.”

“Good hotel, friendly staff, but they had too few baby cribs. Since each room didn't have a refrigerator, I had to request on from the front desk.”

• Friendly staff and great location for my business purposes.
• Public areas are quite dead. pool and spa closed.

“Courtyard by Marriott hotels are pretty much the same where ever you go. This hotel does not provide amenities except a small bottle of shampoo. They charge for the morning breakfast buffet, while most others in the area offer breakfast for free. The atmosphere is very quiet, no evening happy hour or other activities in the large lobby area. People go direct to guest rooms through side doors, a preference for some. Local shopping center is walking distance with good restaurants, driving to other closely restaurants. I needed an urgent care on a Saturday; staff directed me to a facility about 3 miles away. Overall, the stay was comfortable, clean, free internet and newspapers.”

“I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Cary, NC during a recent business trip. My wife joined me for the weekend. She found the accommodations pleasing also. (Happy wife, happy life.) Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Location was convenient to my meetings at NC State Univ. Several good restaurants close by. Really liked the free access to high-speed Internet. That is a great benefit for a business traveler.”

• Hard to find the hotel from the road as there is only a tiny sign.

“A wonderful Courtyard Marriott that mostly caters to the business meeting crowd, which means for the most part it's quiet, clean, the staff very professional, service top-notch. Located off the main road in a complex with numerous good restaurants, a bank, and other useful facilities. I was very pleasantly surprised and pleased with my stay.”

“The hotel is excellent for business travelers. I did go on business, but had two teenage grand children. I was given a room at the very end with no balcony nor over the courtyard. I was unhappy with the room. Also they have taken out the coffee in the lobby and now have a shop which requires you to buy all snacks. They said they had continental breakfast, but you had to pay for this. Other hotels offer continental, free.”

“The problem with staying at this hotel is that there is no shuttle service to the airport and it is not centrally located. Air travel guests should not stay here as it is a 35.00 cab ride. ”

• Did not have "Do not disturb" sign. Maid service disturbed my sleep twice.

• We enjoyed the courtyard pool area and nearby spa. The restaurant (adjoining the lobby) was convenient for breakfast.
• At checkout, the front desk person was abrupt and insincere after mishandling my final bill (her error).

“At check-in, I was impressed with the friendliness of the front desk attendants. The room looked and smelled clean. The housekeeping, front desk, and restaurant staff were very helpful, with the exception of the incident described above.”

“This was a return visit to this hotel location. Nicely remodeled in bright, vivid colors.We were not told upon check-in that breakfast was not included for customers. We were informed of the $8.95/each charge afterwards.”

• very small room, limited and costly breakfast

“The hotel was clean and the staff was fiendly and helpful. The breakfast choices were limited and the buffett cost us $20 for two people. My husband and I requested a king room at check-in and were quickly moved. The room was small and it contained a loveseat, coffee table, desk and chair, dresser,T.V. and a king sized bed. There was not much room for two people to get dressed. The dressing area was also small and there was no room for cosmetics. ”
