“Comfort Inn had only one person manning the hotel at my arrival. 1:30 a.m. I was given a room that was located in the rear of the building with no lights. A staff from another hotel was called to escort me to the hotel. Once inside, there was no safety lock and I was informed to put a chair behind the door. I asked to be placed in another room. I then had to leave the room on the 2nd floor in the dark and no one to assist with baggage. I am handicapped and walk with the assistance of a cane. I was given another key. The key to the room was not activated. I again returned to the front desk in the dark, and again refused to ensure the key was activated. I had to sleep in my car while I waited for another staff to arrive. I was in severe pain, so I went back inside and front desk guy gave me the same key and it still was not activated. I was then told by that she called her Manager and was told they were checking me out at 5:00 a.m. I was tired, sleepy and in pain with no where to stay. I am also disabled. Another staff member arrived and requested to to escort me to the same room. Refused and took me to another room. I had a 10:00 a.m appointment that had to be canceled because I needed rest and to recoup from pain. I checked out because I was told by front desk that her manager said they could not accommodate my disability needs. I received a phone call from Priceline stating I could return to the same hotel. When I tried to check in, I was told I had no reservation. I showed them my reservation. He called management, and was informed to give me a room. I was treated as though I had no reservation.” Apr 19, 2008 by

“The room was old and though functional was not a comforting experience. The exterior was filthy and had not been maintained in many years, poor paint, poor facilities, etc.” Feb 7, 2007 by

“I checked with the hotel directly and was told I could not get a non-smoking room, but when we checked in, we were assigned a handicapped non-smoking room (which is what we wanted). We were pleasantly surprised to get that. It would have minimized my stress in thinking I was going to be in a stinking room.” Hotel Representatives:
