• Location and price.
• Bed and light leaks.

“Very clean hotel in good location. Beds not great but adequate. Light leaks in room through door and parking lot were excessive.”

• Clean, convenient, affordable, and safe.
• Breakfast was limited and stale, bathroom was small.

“I was very pleased with my stay. The room was as clean and comfortable as any other mid-range hotel I've stayed at. If I were spending a lot of time at the hotel, I might choose one with more amenities, but for an overnight stay, it was perfect.”

• It was located close to a lot of restaurants.
• The pool was dirty. The bathroom small. the bed was hard and uncomfortable. the breakfast was poor..no selection. Room was worn & cheap looking

“Very disappointed, esp. after the nice hotel we stayed in at Knoxville (Comfort Suites) that we reserved through Priceline. The hotels had the same rating and cost, but their was no comparison.The pool's sides were dirty. The room was worn and cheap looking, the bed was hard (even though they advertised pillow top mattresses), the bathroom was small. We had to ask for soap for sink and no one was overly friendly. the selection of breakfast food was terrible. No more Jameson Hotels for us!”

• Belgian waffle breakfast.
• Internet was out of service. Unacceptable false assurances given by staff. Caused major inconvenience and diminished work productivity.

“Conveniently located just off Interstate 81. Adequately appointed with decent ammenaties. Lack of professional staff with sufficient discretionary authority to address customer dissatisfaction.”

• Good location and nice breakfast..
• Room was not the cleanest and a little cramped.

“For the price, this hotel was great. It could have been cleaner and the staff was not all that friendly. We had a clogged toilet and had to go to the front desk to get the bungler and unclog it ourselves. Maybe that was to make us feel at home. The kids enjoyed the weight room.”

• Clean and enough space to turn around.
• Breakfast was barely fair. Waffles stuck were gooey and tables way to close to move around. Not worth the effort.

“Great Staff, Easy check in, Room was clean and smelled good. I've had much better breakfast items at a much lower ranked hotel in the area. When the table area is full you can't move from the table to the food with out rubbing other patrons. USA Today paper to read while eating. Pillows and bed were good.”

• It was clean and conveniently located.
• The pool was small.

“This hotel is good for a quick overnight stay. It was in the middle of a bunch of stores and restaurants which was very convenient.”

• Room was clean and large, pool looked nice.
• Staff did not help to a problem. No AC in summer a problem.

“We stayed the night of 7/11/08. The rooms windows don't open and the AC did not work. When I contacted the night clerk he did not help. He said he had no other rooms so I mentioned moving to a different motel he said he my credit card would still be billed because we had occupied the room. He never offered to help find us a room somewhere else.”

• Convenience to destination, large rooms.
• Breakfast not as good as Holiday Inn Express.

“Great proximity to James Madison University. Large clean room with sink on the outside of the bathroom - very convenient.”

• Hotel was very clean, decor was refreshing, and staff was very helpful.
• Pool was not open.

“The hotel was surprisingly clean and well equipped for its rating. Room was very clean and the furnishings were all new. Convenient to shops/restaurants. Staff was very friendly. Very good value for money.”

• The front desk guy.
• The front desk lady, and the manager.

“I checked in at around 3:30pm, and the front desk agent (a young black male) was very helpful and polite. I've been to the hotel a couple of times, and he had to be the nicest one I've encountered! There were only a couple problems, the manager was very rude, and the other front desk staff lady (tall with bangs) was very disrespectful!”

• Pet friendly and willing to check me in early.
• No in door pool.

“Great location to the University and a multitude of stores & restaurants. The atmosphere was quiet, and peaceful-this maybe because it was a week day. This is one of few hotels in the area that will accommodate pets (an additional charge which was a little high in my opinion). The health facility is in a separate building behind the outside pool& small). I would highly recommend for the price.”

• The location was great. Walking distance from hotel/movie theatre/bar/breakfast/Wal-Mart.
• We liked everything.

“The continental breakfast was great. The room was very cozy even had a recliner. Enjoyed everything about this place.”
