• Friendly staff.
• Beds were really small.

“The hotel was nice overall, the staff was very friendly and willing to help with any problem that came about. The beds were just really small and house keeping didn't do the best job cleaning but overall it was a good place to stay.”

• Location is only a short walk from the beach. Rooms were clean.
• Only one, basic outdoor pool.

“Great location. Beach was only about a two minute walk down the street, if that. Rooms were clean and very cute. Only a few minutes drive from Downtown Myrtle Beach, if that's your scene. We did go to Downtown Myrtle Beach, but I preferred the beach closer to our hotel. It was not crowded, and it was much cleaner than Downtown Myrtle Beach, but still not too far away if u wanted to enjoy the events and atmosphere. I'm sure the hotels closer to Downtown Myrtle Beach are disgusting or out of our price range. I'm 23 by the way, just to give u a perspective, and my parents went, my sister and her daughter (2) and my grandmother. Great for the family.”

• Nice walk to a public beach in the middle of private property. No crowds even in July!
• Had to walk across King's Highway, but the good things greatly out-weigh this one bad one.

• The staff was very friendly and helpful.
• It was much further from the beach and restaurants than I thought it would be.

“There were stains on the carpet, which makes a bad first impression. Our bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. The hotel is quite a distance from the beach and restaurants too far to walk! However, the staff was very helpful and the breakfast was nice.”

• Convenient location - close to beach, but never too crowded.
• Beds were a little uncomfortable.

“We enjoyed this hotel because it was 2 blocks away from the beach. The part of the beach it was close to had lots of free parking and was away from the crowds from the many beach front hotels. The hotel was very clean and in a convenient location - close to the beach and about 2 miles from Broadway at the beach and the other attractions.”

• Perfect location to entertainment.

“The LaQuinta Inn located at 4709 N. Kings Hwy was the perfect hotel for myself and my spouse. Upon entrance we were greeted and taken care of by a gentleman who was very professional, customer service oriented and caring. He represents the company very well and is most definately an asset to the company. After leaving (although we hated to) the LaQuinta Inn my spouse and I have decided to plan another trip which will include our children and to stay at the LaQuinta Inn.”

• The beds were great and luxurious. Rooms were very clean.
• Over all the room met all of my expectations.

“Carpets & hall floors filthy, wouldn't stay here again, on a positive note staff friendly & amenable, food good-not a very hardy breakfast, but they are next door to a breakfast place (Friendly's), Lots of families with noisy children stayed at the same time we were there, not too much fun.”

• Decor of hotel room was nice and updated.
• Carpet hallways and room were disgustingly filthy.

“The hallway carpet, the elevators, and the bedroom carpet were nasty. The side entry door downstairs was accessible without the room key. Very unsafe, especially at night. We were given room keys to a room that was currently occupied (didn't realize it until we went in and the beds were unmade, the garbage can was running over, and someone was in the bathroom). We were reassigned to a remodeled room that was a little better than the older one we were originally assigned to.”

• I really enjoyed staying at the laquinta because it's very clean and I felt like home away from home.
• Two of your staff were not good with giving directions. I would have preferred them to say I don't know or I'm unsure than to lie.

“The laquinta is a very nice hotel as a matter of fact I'm thinking about coming back again this weekend. The hotel provides away for travelers to get to meet each other and be able to conversant. The breakfast bar was also great. The location is also great. I often travel and I can always find something about a hotel that's not pleasing but with this hotel I couldn't do that. I must say I was very please and you will see me again. thanks for having me.”

• Rented a crib at $10 a day and it was a park and play.

“The hotel and breakfast they provided was outstanding. The only complaint was when I called to rent a crib for an additional $10 a day it turned out to be a park n play”

• Hotel staff was very helpful during my stay, hotel is easy to find.
• Rooms could have been a little better quality beds, lights, etc

“Easy to find, on the main strip of myrtle beach. only a minute drive from the actual beach, so good location. not around many fast food places, but is near a lot of sit-down restaurants. breakfast is good, staff was very helpful and there were plenty of vending machines. the pool area was nice as well, and not crowded. overall a positive and reliable experience for very little money.”

• Great location! Right beside a miniature golf course & right on Hwy 17.
• The lighting inside the room was terrible.

“There were no functioning ice makers in this hotel. All of the soda machines were unplugged. There is a friendly restaurant right next door, so we went there to get the drinks we needed. However, no one at the hotel seemed concerned that the guests did not have these items. They are remodeling, hopefully it will be better. ”

• The staff at this hotel showed us true southern hospitality from giving us directions to giving us a smooth check-in.
• I found a hair on a towel in the bathroom. The cleanliness of this hotel wasn't the best!

“Overall this hotel was a great deal! Its location was very helpful-two blocks from the beach and quite close to shops and restaurants. There also was a computer in the lobby that was Internet ready which really was beneficial.The breakfast was super!The cleanliness could have been better. The room itself wasn't very clean-that would be the only thing that I would ask to improve.”

• It is a pretty good deal given that the surrouding accomodation is all quite expensive
• The location. It is not exactly near the beach or any attractions.

• It was a lovely hotel, and the locations was fabulous for my needs.

“It's right between Myrtle and North Myrtle Beaches, with close access to shopping, food, entertainment, etc. The decor is beautiful, and the staff are friendly. It's a good hotel.”

• Very Friendly People
• Well we didn't get a non smoking room but I never called ahead to see if I could get one.

“It was a nice hotel and I think that it would have been better if I could have gotten a non smoking room. I am not sure if I could have or not because I didn't call in advance to see and when I got there my room was the only one left which was a smoking room. However it did not keep me awake during the night.”

• Had no indoor pool and was the same price as beachfront

• Great staff, and the free breakfast! clean and comfortable!
• At check in on day one our room was clean but smelled like cigarettes.

“Loved this hotel. Close to everything without being in the congestion of the beach crowd. Easy access, fast check in and out, and of course the breakfast was great. We enjoyed getting up and eating a quick breakfast before starting the day. the rooms were clean and the staff were great. ”
