• Possibly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.
• No on site parking. Public parking at own expense across the street, then have to walk back to the hotel.

“Very nicely decorated, with a very upscale atmosphere. Almost seemed too nice for a stay with the kids. The lack of some kind of parking arrangement bothered me, especially since we arrived late at night and this hotel is in town. Very comfortable bed. Best bathroom and shower of all the places on our trip. Normally charges $10/day for in-room internet access. No in-room fridge or microwave, but just about everything else you would expect.”

• Great location.
• I was surprised that there was no parking at this hotel.

“I enjoyed my stay here. Very clean rooms, lobby. Very comfortable. As a female traveling alone, I felt very safe. And the hair dryer wasn't your typical "attached to the wall" hotel dryer - it was like the one you'd use at home!”

“We loved the room and location of the hotel. Parking was in a parking deck across the street and cost an additional $5, but very convenient to get to and well guarded. Overall I will stay here again!”

• Liked the location off the subway, free parking and quality of room.
• Breakfast buffet was expensive and there was not a wide variety.

“I would definitely stay here again - the room was small, but very nice; the staff was helpful, the parking was free and the convenience of the subway was a definite plus. I thought the breakfast buffet was quite pricey for what was offered, but the waiter was excellent. Didn't eat at the steakhouse this time, but it is an excellent place to dine.”

• We were under the impression there was a pool only to find out later there was a $15 charge to use the pool in the health club.

• Free parking on weekend across the street, nice little gym.

“I was pleasantly surprised. The room was large and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. The workout facility, while small, was well equipped. The staff could not have been nicer. I would definitely return.”

• The gal that checked me in gave me a newly redecorated room, it was beautiful and cozy.
• The parking was very inconvenient.

“The hotel is fabulous. Parking is a pain but beside that everything was excellent. Everyone was very accommodating. I will stay here always if possible.”

• The staff was excellent, from the concierge to the front desk to the restaurant, everyone was friendly and extremely helpful.

• Friendly staff and the best hotel beds I have ever slept on!
• Entire hotel is non-smoking. No pool.

“A great hotel for what I needed (leisure travel, one night). Beds were amazing, very friendly staff. We were able to check in early as we had arrived in town prior to check in time, and even arranged for an hour later check-out as we were out on the town a little later than expected so needed the sleep - and this was free of charge! Only issues for me - no smoking at all in the hotel (but apparently this is the norm for NY State hotels), no pool (not necessary but would have been an added bonus), and off-site paid parking.”

• The room was big and the bed was very comfortable. The trolley was right outside the door of the hotel.
• Service after the concert in the bar/restaurant was slow and did not get offer menu so we order out a pizza to our room.

“The room we stayed was in really need of a renovation. For sure does not meet the expectations of a Hyatt hotel. It looks like an average highway motel. The front lobby and the renovated rooms are supposed to be really nice.”

• Rooms are very spacious and well appointed.

“This hotel is in the middle of the downtown and one block away from the club district. The rooms were very spacious and clean, if perhaps a little on the older side. The lobby was beautiful and the staff courteous. In short it was a great hotel.”

• Moderate, friendly, clean, & comfortable.
• Internet charges $ 9.99 was totally un-reasonable!

“Overall price was good. Hotel rooms need modern renovations, & its floor lobbies looks quite old. The hotel still charges for internet at $9.99 per day which is totally un-necessary, as these days even a small coffee shop its Wi-Fi and internet friendly if you have your laptop with wireless card it works free of cost, so the hotel should immediately implement free internet service especially in rooms for guest convenience, its a part of services now a days.”

• Conveniently located nearby all major local freeways.
• No on-site parking facilities/no hairdryer in our room and we have to wait until the next morning to get one from cleaning staff.

• Beautiful, clean rooms, friendly staff.
• The pool (across the street in the health club) was atrocious.

“The hotel was great, staff was pleasant and helpful. Rooms were beautiful. Location left a bit to be desired, and the parking was a bit scary, but otherwise things were great. Oh, the pool? Don't bother - not worth crossing the street for.”

• Hotel personnel provided excellent service and cheerfully answered all questions.
• Parking is not convenient, safe, or reasonably priced.

“The staff and accommodations were excellent. It was uncomfortable walking to the hotel from the parking garage or side streets in this neighborhood near the bar scene. Witnessed several parked cars with smashed windows.”

• The friendly doorman I've ever met.
• Hairpins strewn about the floor of our room.

“This is truly a has been hotel attempting to be something else. While some areas of the hotel have been recently renovated others are tired and worn. Staff was friendly and courteous. Parking is across the street in a very unfriendly environment for late night comings and goings. Homeless were wandering through the garage and begging. We never were told how to make use of the off site spa facilities. The hotel itself is located in a void within the city of Chicago with miles of empty storefronts around it. Other than a nearby convention centre (attached to the hotel) I can see no reason for anyone to stay there. Our room on the 12th floor was not redecorated, had obviously only had the bath cleaned since the last client. Had paper in the waste can and hair balls on the floor. The furniture was dusty and finger marked as well.”
