“Not much to talk about.” Mar 16, 2009 by
Genah from Temperance,MI
“The beds were not very comfortable at all. The free continental breakfast only lasted til 9:30am.” Aug 26, 2008 by
John from Concord, NC
“It is a good hotel. I will stay again next time I go.” Aug 25, 2008 by
Pam from Harrisburg, PA
“The hotel is located in a nice area of Myrtle Beach. It is located close to many things so you can walk instead of drive. The room we had was perfect for us and our 3 children. We also like being able to see the ocean from the window even though it was a block back from the beach. We loved the daily room service.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Billy from Lincolnton, NC
“The hotel staff was friendly and tried their best. The room had roaches. The ceiling was water-stained and sagging in the corners. The light switches required a degree in electrical engineering to operate. It was old and worn out. On the last night of our stay, a section of the stairway gave out exposing the rebar that held it together. The pool turned dark green on our third day and never cleared up again.” Aug 10, 2008 by
Joe from Bristol, TN
“The hotel is old and run down and it showed. Updates and improvements are way overdue for this hotel. Also, no elevator.” Aug 3, 2008 by
Dean from Toledo, OH
“Everyone was very friendly and courteous to us at this hotel my only two complaints were my room took a long time to be ready as they had new people on the cleaning crew and the other thing was the clean sheets that were put on the bed had a couple burn spots on them from cigarettes.” Jul 30, 2008 by
Lisa from Grifton, NC
“This hotel was a surprisingly great find.” Jul 27, 2008 by
April &. from Mount Pleasant, NC
“The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the toilet and we told the front desk and maintenance was there to fix it in less than 5 minutes. It was also very close to the beach, it is just across the street. Overall, it was a great experience.” Jul 24, 2008 by
Rachael from Martinsburg, WV
“This was my first trip to Myrtle Beach for pleasure. I have to say that we had a really great time, away from the hotel. It was definitely not a typical Days Inn the way I remember them. The beds were not comfortable at all and the continental breakfast was more like cereal and toast breakfast. Some of the hotels that are independent were in better shape than this place, so I can't say that I would recommend it to anyone.” Jun 16, 2008 by
Jeni “I went to the hotel with very low standards and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beach was just across the street. My only complaint was my husband and I stay coincided with senior week. There were a lot of rowdy teenagers everywhere, not that it was the hotel's fault. All in all I enjoyed my stay there.” Apr 30, 2008 by
Angela from Louisville, TN
“This hotel was very family friendly. The staff assisted me promptly with my requests. The continental breakfast area was very clean and the food and coffee were fresh. The swimming area was also very clean. This hotel was located in a prime holiday location. It was conveniently located near all of the Myrtle Beach attractions. My family and I enjoyed our stay very much.” Oct 26, 2007 by
Heidi from Taylorsville, NC
“The location was great and the staff was friendly. It's a great place to stay at if you're traveling or if you all of a sudden had a spontaneous idea like I did.” Oct 10, 2007 by
Daniel from Waterbury Center, VT
“When we arrived they allowed us to check in early are room was clean and had a very strong lemon scent. We made the unfortunate choice of taking are vacation during the fall bike meet so the hotel was full of bikers that were loud. The staff allowed the bikers to use half the parking lot to show there motorcycles and they took up all of the sidewalk parking with trucks and trailers making it very difficult to park. I am sure this is not a problem most of the time. Our room was cleaned every day we wanted it to be cleaned, except they never seemed to manage to clean the toilet or refill are complimentary coffee. The complimentary wireless internet was a decent speed for browsing websites and uploading photos online that is of course when we could actually get it to work. For a lot of the time we couldn't connect properly and had to try multiple times to connect. There are no elevators at this hotel and we just so happened to be on the top floor so we got are exercise while we where there walking up and down stairs every day. The pool was semi heated it wasn't unbearable to swim in but it wasn't hot either. The hot tub was the same temperature as the pool maybe a little warmer but it was no hot tub and of course they are both outside which makes things harder to heat. The complimentary breakfast was alright. It consisted of small plain bagels, small muffins, cereal hot and cold, apple and orange juice, coffee, little fruit filled pastry's, butter, peanut butter or cream cheese. In closing they are clean enough for most people; the internet is so so, the location is very convenient to the grand strand and route 17 which leads almost everywhere. The beach is very close and the pool is semi cold. The breakfast is fine for most especially since it is free. I would recommend staying here if youre on a budget if not then find a better hotel across the road.” Sep 29, 2007 by
Chris B. from Catlettsburg, KY
“My stay at the Grand Strands Days Inn was an enjoyable experience. I just wish the beds were a little softer.” Sep 24, 2007 by
Tony from Berea, OH
“It was okay for the money but needs better cleaning and could use some updates in the bathroom.” Sep 22, 2007 by
Cheri from Rockhill, SC
“Not to bad for people with little money could pay little more attention to the comforts of the beds and looks of room.” Sep 18, 2007 by
Hope from Syracuse, NY
“While it wasn't on the ocean, it was right across from public access and it has a pool. The room was large but the bathroom was very small. Overall, the room needs to be updated.” Sep 17, 2007 by
Ellen from Pomona, NY
“Very friendly, helpful staff. Had a little problem with the bathroom sink, but was fixed right away.” Sep 9, 2007 by
Jeanne from Bulls Gap, TN
“Terrible review. Dirty and room had holes in walls and no covers on electric outlets. Bathroom shower walls cave in. Holes around doors in bathroom and up in ceiling corner.” Aug 28, 2007 by
Vickie from Portsmouth, VA
“This hotel is ok if you just want a reasonable place to stay for a night or two.” Aug 20, 2007 by
Richard from Kingsport, TN
“Poor.” Aug 13, 2007 by
Suzanne from Greensboro, NC
“Location was good but room not very clean, older furniture not maintained, well air-condition poor beds not very comfortable.” Jul 4, 2007 by
Sharon from Randleman, NY
“This hotel was a real mix of good and bad. The front desk could not find my reservation but the clerk was very nice and friendly and searched diligently until it was found. He even put me on the ground floor as asked. The room was clean when we arrived, but was not cleaned during our stay, not even fresh towels. The pool was enjoyed by my nieces, but they couldnt understand why we didn't have the "nice pool" like the hotel across the street. Breakfast was ok, kid friendly with cereals juice and donnish. I probably would not stay again here, especially at the price we paid (Cheaper rooms available at hotels that looked as nice or nicer).” Jun 18, 2007 by
Conswella from Charleston, WV
“We went down for my 5 year old daughter's first trip to the beach. It was like.” Dec 21, 2006 by

“Old facility across the street from the beach.” Oct 27, 2006 by
Suzanne from Northwood, OH
“Older hotel but well maintained.” Sep 24, 2006 by
Richard from Arlington, VA
“It's situated in South Myrtle Beach. Convenient to the beach and 3rd ave. Which gives you a quick out to get up to north Myrtle Beach.” Aug 21, 2006 by
Dean from Hartville, OH
“Overall good. a little disappointed with the age of the hotel but in that area for the money it was a good value.” Aug 14, 2006 by
Fred from Raymond, NH
“This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Myrtle Beach. Friendly staff who go out of their way to make your stay more enjoyable. The whole building needs to be renovated due to wear and tear over the years.” Aug 4, 2006 by
James from Gastonia, NC
“I don't spend much time in a hotel room but when I do I like to be nice and comfortable, the beds were not and I think it needs to be updated, people were really nice though.” Jul 31, 2006 by
Denise from Florence, SC
“I was not pleased with this hotel. I was looking for something near the beach, and it was within walking distance. The walkways were dirty and smelly. The mattresses in the room were the worst I have ever slept on-no exceptions. I believe this hotel should consider some upgrades to the rooms. The bathroom left much to be desired, and the bathroom door did not even close. The parking spaces were located close to the room, which was convenient” Apr 26, 2006 by
Brenda from Salisbury, NC
“Rooms were OK I must have misread. It must have said ocean view and I thought it said oceanfront. There were cheaper, nicer rooms for less money.” Mar 4, 2006 by
Kathy from Wadesboro, NC
“Hotel was very clean and everyone was very helpful and friendly. Nice place to stay traveling alone or with family.”
