• It was close to everything the staff was very
  good and we liked the pool.

• It's in a great location and close to a lot of fun things.
• The pool was plain and the rooms would be better with a refrigerator or microwave.

“For the price I paid I feel like I got a good deal. It's not a fancy hotel but I would stay there again simply for the location and price.”

• Friendly and attentive staff.
• The french bathroom doors offered no privacy if you have visitors.

“My stay here was more than I expected based on the money. It was in a good location and I felt very safe staying alone. I also like the fact that it had a gym, though I did'nt have time to use it.”

• Their breakfast buffet was pretty good.
• Room service and housekeeping was atrocious.

“Although the breakfast buffet was good, I would probably never go back to this hotel due to the service there with the exception of the last day. Housekeeping wrote me a nasty note after I wrote them a note about a broken light. In addition, she didn't take out our garbage for 3 days, nor did she change our sheets. I'm still floored about it.”

• The location was excellent. Bed was very comfortable.
• Carpet was worn and ugly. Dogs were allowed at this hotel.

“I enjoyed staying in this hotel. It wasn't my favorite hotel stay, but definitely not the worst. I would consider staying there again.”

• The desk staff was very considerate and helpful. They let me check-out 1 day early with no penalty.
• It was not at all clean, and was clearly a "party" hotel.

“My son and I went to Myrtle Beach for the weekend to make some memories - I am on my 4th round of chemo. Our 1st night was spent listening to party people till 3:30 AM with doors slamming and people laughing. They did let us check out the next day with no penalty. The hotel was in need of an update, and was not very clean - smelled like a nursing home. But again, the staff was very friendly and helpful.”

“Excellent and helpful staff. I was disappointed with the young man at the desk that refused to print my airline boarding passes. Perhaps this is hotel policy but it is unusual in today's hotel market to find a property which does not accommodate this sort of request. I do not fault the young man for following policy and he did direct me to the fedex/kinkos nearby. This was the only negative to our stay, and a was very minor one at that.”

• Obscure entry from main road, passed by twice.

• It was pet friendly and very clean.
• No room service.

“We were in the area for a wedding and the location of the hotel could not have been better. Wedding was right across the street. We brought my dog with us and he had a wonderful stay too. Clean hotel and people were very accommodating.”

• Hotel was very clean and nice for the price.
• I did not like their breakfast. They need to add more items such as sausage, egg and etc.

• You can hear through the walls. I could walk down the hall and hear peoples conversation while they were in their room.

“My room didn't have a refrigerator or microwave. This was aggravating. We came to Myrtle Beach for a vacation on the beach and was disappointed that we had to load up everyday just to go to the beach. The housekeeping didn't leave some stuff that we used up dailey. So we had to go buy it. The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The set up of the hotel was nice. My kids enjoyed the pool. We were woke up every morning around 8:00 or 9:00 for house keeping and this being our vacation, we slept in. So that was aggravating.”

• It was clean and spacious and within walking distance of many attractions!
• Can't think of anything specific.

“La Quinta Inn was a great value. It is located right across the street from Broadway at the Beach, which makes it a convenient location for a night on the town without the worry of having to drive back to your hotel late at night. The hotel staff was friendly, the hotel was clean and spacious and I would definitely stay there again.”

“Was very clean and was also convenient to Broadway at the Beach. Only about 5 minutes from the ocean. My only complaint was being able to hear actual conversations, etc from adjoining rooms - walls seemed to be "paper thin". I would definitely stay here again.”

“I was expecting a beach front hotel, this location was 2 miles away from the beach. I was allocated a double bed room and despite plenty of availability and I agreeing to pay any additional upgrade charges the front office rudely refused to allocate me a king bed room.”

• Would have liked breakfast to extend a little longer than 9:00 o'clock.

“The hotel was attractive. The room was quite nice, right across the street from Broadway at the Beach, which is a shopping, restaurant, and tourist attractiion center, hosting the IMax Theater, Aquarium, and Palace Theater. Parking facilities were adequate and the continental breakfast had more than usual choices. We were very pleasantly surprised how nice this was for a 2 star rating.”

• A great free breakfast!! Clean and a excellent attendent keeping bowls full
• no dislikes

“Best services in a long time, I average 10-12 stays per year at various hotels. Wish I could book it when I need it at the price I paid. (My timeshares keep me busy 4-5 Weeks a year). Thank again for a 5 STAR stay W/a 2 STAR rating.”

“The hotel I we stayed in was very clean and in a great location. However, the staff had problems with services offered and caused some big problem for myself while I was there. If a hotel cannot follow through with services offered they simply should not offer them. It was something I could have taken care of myself but they insisted that they would like to do it and would take care of everything. They did not.”

“(1)I wish the LaQuinta in Myrtle Beach would have given us an option for a King bed instead of double beds for my 6'7 husband and myself. (2)The courtyard/pool area was very impressive especially the jacuzzi. I do wish the pool was a bit more chlorinated though.

Overall, the stay was pleasant!”
