• Room was spacious with a great view of the ocean. Parking and pools conveniently located.
• There wasn't a bathroom near the pool. The restaurant was not opened during our stay.

• Great hotel for the price.
• The hallways were smelly, but the room was great!

“My husband and I went to Springmaid Resort for our anniversary. I at first was kind of skeptical to fing such a deal. When we arrived Sunday night at about 9pm the staff was very friendly as well as helpful. She then provided us with a map that would direct us to our room. When we were going to our room the hall was a little smelly so I did become nervous. After getting to our room it was wonderful. The airconditioning was already on so the room was nice and cool. There was a full size refrigerator and two nice size beds. Of course the first thing we did was check out our balcony, it was good we could see the beach from here as well as the lazy river and pool. Over all I was very impressed with Springmaid Resort and will for sure go back.”

• I just wish I had had a room on the end, but really nothing negative to say, great place!

• Plenty of child friendly activities and a good location.
• Parking garage a little tight for larger vehicles.

“Very good location away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. a place where families can relax by the pool and fish from the pier without crowd control! Would recommend to anyone who wants a real vacation!”

• The check in time was too late - 4 pm.

• The price was great and it was oceanfront too.
• It was kind of far from the main strip where all the shops and bars were. And the pool was crummy.

“The walls seemed to be paper-thin because we could practically hear the conversations in the next room. There was only one pool; indoors and it was tiny. I would have preferred a larger outdoor pool. However, while outside on the beach it was nice to be close to the Pier and the little cafe. Other than that the poor pool quality and thin walls we had an overall pleasant stay.”

• The pool area looked very run down and dirty.

• Easy access to highway and off the main road at the end away from heavy traffic.
• Elevator closest to our room did not work and had a bad oder around the elevator.

• It is directly on the ocean.
• Maid service was inadequate. No shampoo refills, did not clean coffee pot each day.

“Overall the hotel was sufficient. As stated previously maid service needs improvement. Also, meal prices in the restaurant were a little too high for the quality of food provided.”

• Convenient to most things in town, and had a good beach and pier. Wonderful for kids and fishermen.
• The indoor pools had way too much chlorine in it; it was hard to breath much less swim.

“This was a nice place for the money, with a nice beach and a good fishing pier; the hotel staff was very nice and polite. The indoor pool had way too much chlorine in it which made it hard to swim in, but I would stay there again.”

• Room was outdated, smelled musty, bed was uncomfortable, and cable service was spotty.

“I'm sure this hotel would be great for families spending all their time at the beach, because of it's location at the beach and an impressive pier. But it was disappointing for my wife and my first trip to Myrtle Beach. The room left much to be desired, the pool looked uninviting, etc. This hotel needs significant updating of facilities.”

• Not enough parking on a busy holiday weekend when the hotel is full.

• Enforcement of the quiet time at night.
• Best pool was at another building long walk. No continental breakfast. Other places at the same price did offer it.

• The people working there were friendly and it was clean.
• Ocean view wasn't much of a view. Small children played in lazy river, & we couldn't enjoy that. No hot tub.

“For the most part things we fine. It was clean, the people were friendly & the rooms were nice. The ocean view wasn't much to brag about and no Jacuzzi.”

• I really enjoyed the wonderful view of the ocean and being right on the ocean.
• I really do think that one of the staff housekeepers tried on a new bathing suit that I had bought and left lying on the bed.

• Helpful staff. Towel blew off balcony and they quickly retrieved it for us.
• Didn't find anything.

“A very nice resort for a family or couple. Located at the end of the busy strip so there is not so much car traffic or beach traffic. Big, clean, quiet rooms with awesome views. There is plenty to do within the resort so you really never have to leave!”

• I like that this hotel was so close to the beach.
• The hotel could use a some major upgrades in certain areas.

• I loved this room. Front view of ocean was wonderful. Very clean.
• I cannot think of anything that I didn't like.

“I highly recommend this hotel. The room was clean with pretty yellow walls and the staff was helpful and friendly. The view was wonderful.”

• I loved the fact that it was right on the beach, that I could sit on my balcony and watch the sun set.
• I thought they should have a Jacuzzi by the pool and they do not.

“My husband and I were very pleased with the hotel, its location, cleanliness, and the little things that make you feel at home like a coffee pot and a refrigerator in the room. We only stayed one night, but would love to go again.”

• Every Room was Ocean View. Very well designed. Lots of Pools. Walked to the Beach.
• The maid service was very average. Sheets not changed. Late cleanings.

“This was one of the nicest family vacations we ever had. The hotel was in an excellent location and the hotel check in staff was very friendly. The breakfast was awesome. Lots of pools. The hotel property was very well maintained. The room was excellent with a full fridge and microwave. Game room was nice also. We would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying there again on our next visit to Myrtle Beach. It will probably be the only hotel we stay in while visiting Myrtle Beach!!! AAA++++.”

• It was located at the Pier.
• They added a breakfast package to our price without consent.

“We were told we would get a smoke free room. We did not. The fridge was leaking. The elevators were nasty dirty and very hot with no ventilation. The bathroom tub was dirty. I would not stay at this hotel and pay 165.55 per night again with all of this said.”

• I liked the location of the resort convenient and not so close to the other hotel since it was bike week it wasn't so noisy like the other hotels.
• I didn't like the fact that it didn't have a kitchen.
