• Iron.

• Very friendly staff.
• The bed felt like I was sleeping on plywood.

“Great for us because we were attending a beer festival. No frills needed and we were given complementary shuttle service to and from the event so we didn't even have to pay for a cab.”

• Great staff. Good food.

“Great location to Duke Hospital. Felt safe walking to and from hospital. Staff was friendly and was able to add on extra days due to extended hospital stay. Spouse was able to get a parking pass to visit a couple of hours one day, instead of using parking garage. Food and restaurant staff was good and friendly”

• Close to the event that we attended.
• Price was to high for amenities and food was bad.

“If needing to stay close to Duke University, Duke or the VA Medical Center this is the place for you otherwise, expensive and far away from local attractions.”

• Close to duke hospital.
• Somewhat expensive.

“The major attraction of this hotel is its location: it is across the street from duke university medical center. Other than that it is just a nice hotel, clean, comfortable but a bit pricey.”

• Older hotel.

“Hotel location was perfect for visiting Duke University Hospital and Duke University. Convenient too many restaurants. Employees at Brook wood Inn were all friendly and efficient.”

• Location close to Duke campus and hospitals.
• Did not receive a requested wake up call. Small inefficient restaurant. Noisy fan/light combo ON switch.
