• Convenient location to Duke Hospital. Great staff! Wonderful breakfast!
• The air conditioning unit was blowing too hard--no way to adjust the fan.

• Cleanliness was never an issue and staff was friendly.
• Size of the room and microwave or fridge not being provided.

“Not bad at all, I would recommend it for business travelers that are mainly traveling alone and are just looking for board and lodge.”

• The hotel was clean and the people were friendly.
• The laundry room machine didn't give me a product or the money back.

• Easy access.
• Not the cleanest. Trash was left in the hallways during the entire stay.

“Friendly staff, but not the most efficient cleaning staff. Trash and debris was seen and found in the hallways during the entire stay. The breakfast bar was nice. It is an older hotel that has been kept up. but still need a little more work. My wife did have problems communicating with the non-English speaking cleaning staff.”

“Very clean and priced affordability. We were going to Duke and the location was very good for the commute back and forth to the hospital with restaurants nearby.”

• The staff was very helpful. They were great.
• We did get a room that smelled of smoke. Even though we were willing to except it because we were able to get into the room early. Great staff.

• Clean, good size of the room.
• I was in the room with renovation on both rooms, noisy.

“It is under major renovation, and the worker worked till the evening. The music and noisy of the construction made me believe that the hotel management does not consider his guests privacy and the basic need of being quiet.”

• The price only
• Night manager did not want to turn on the phone. Told me to drive to a pay phone at 1:00 am.

“I will not return there again. I felt like I was a crimmal for asking for the phone to be turn on and the toliet was broke.”

“I asked for 3 star at $50 and got the Fairfield Inn at Durham. They treated us like royalty and invited us to a FREE continental breakfast the next morning which included FRESH MADE WAFFLES, hot coffee, juice, fresh muffins, etc. When we got home my husband realized that he had left his favorite pair of expensive sneakers there at the hotel. No problem Ms P. We have them and our policy is to hold them for you for 8 months! THAT was the icing on the cake!”
