• The room and amenities exceeded my expectations.
• TV reception was inconsistent and fuzzed out regularly.

• The customer service was terrible.

“The hotel was horrible. They didn't have a room with double beds and I was only entitled to a room with a king bed. The woman was extremely hostile to me on the phone. I requested a roll-away bed on the phone, but it wasn't in the room when we got there. On our way out for the day I again requested a roll-away bed and extra towels. When we returned to the room at night, the roll-away bed still wasn't there nor were the extra towels. I called from the room and finally someone came up.”

• The maid that cleaned the room was very helpful and very good at her job. She made you feel at home.
• The front desk staff was the rudest peope that I have ever had to deal with in my life. I have worked in customer service all of my life.

“The room was decent. The lady who cleaned our room was wonderful. The front desk staff was horrible whether it was morning or night staff they were rude, hateful, and disrespectful.”

“This hotel and thier staff are very customer orienated. My air conditioner went on the blink one night I notified the front desk and they immediately offered to move me to another room. I chose to stay in my same room that evening, the following day when I returned to my room the problem had been fixed.”

• The proximity to stores and dining was excellent.
• The so-called double beds were quite small and not comfortable for 2 people.

“The staff was very pleasant and jovial. The rooms were clean and pleasing to the eye. The beds, however, were more suited to single person sleeping as opposed to two people. This was the only down side.”

• Convenient to shopping and many restaurants.
• This hotel had the most uncomfortable beds!

“Hotel was easy to find and within walking distance to a mall and restaurants. The downfall was no one in my family of four got a decent night's sleep! The beds were the most uncomfortable beds we ever had! My husband was the only one who took advantage of the free breakfast and enjoyed it.”

• Everyone was friendly ~ When I arrived and found I was traveling alone (female) they automatically put me on the second floor so I would feel safer.

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in Fayetteville. Everything you need is within walking distance. The staff is friendly and helpful.”

• Although the motel was close to the road, you wouldn't know it. Grandkids were in the adjoining room, and it was quiet.
• Bathroom was cramped. A straight shower rod would have been better than the curved (allow more room).

“We were in Fayetteville, NC seeing our daughter before she was deployed, and stayed at Comfort Inn. The room was spacious and clean. There was a dehumidifier in the room to aid in the air conditioning, and it helped. Staff was eager to help in any way they could. We will stay there again in the future.”

• The elevator near our room was broken.

“We were in Fayetteville for a funeral and we wanted a quiet place to be with our family. This hotel was perfect. It was convenient to a mall (which was great since my husband forgot his sport coat) and the rooms were clean.”

“When we checked in we were put in a dirty room and were offered no other options rather than stay in a dirty room. It was gross. The whole bathroom was previously used with soap, half used with hair in it, dirty towels... The staff didn't even offer to get new towels for us or have it cleaned. Completely horrible. I feel there was no customer service or care to fix the situation either.”

“The hotel is ok, I have seen worse and I have seen well. The pool was in excellent shape and the landscaping was great. The room had an old jelly donut in a baggies in the fridge, we left it there - at least it was not under the bed and moldy.”

• The staff was all very horrible.

“We checked into a dirty room and were not offered anything to fix that. The bathroom was previously used and it was disgusting. Hair used soap and used shampoo. When we called the front desk they were very uncooperative. It was pretty crappy that the only options we had was to get a refund and leave and not have anywhere to stay or to stay in a dirty room. That hotel was definitely not up to standard and staff didn't have very many helpful ideas... leave, not have a place to stay and get money or stay in your dirty room. Not very good customer service or good problems solvers.”

• Continental Breakfast; Free High Speed Internet; very Helpful Staff; nice accoutrement.
• Nothing that stood out.

“The hotel staff was wonderful. The ladies who were the maids were extremely helpful when we were looking for a park for a picnic, they even printed off a map with directions from the internet for us. Now, I have traveled for years and no where has anyone been nicer to me or my family than the hotel employees at Cross Creek; give them an A++++ and a hearty thank you.”

• The lift made weird noises.

“After the horrible experience in the 3star Hilton, I was quite happy when I entered my room in comfort Inn. Comfort Inn is always going to be my first choice. Being even a 2star, it had a lot more facilities than the 3star.”

“I left some articles of clothing in my packing called 3 days in a row. Michael answered the phone and was not being cooperative. I finally got to speak to someone in housekeeping; they told me that Mike would be sending off the articles. I told him there was a credit card on file to send my clothes back; he told me there was not one. Then he had my address wrong so I am not sure if I will get them or not.”

• Roach in room, coffee package open and empty.

“I have stayed here several times and always loved it. This time was a great disappointment as far as the room. There was a roach crawling up the wall that I killed, the regular coffee pack was open and empty. Just felt as if the housekeeping had gone downhill.”

• Too far from i-95, after a long drive from Florida.

“It is a horrible place to go from i-95, about ten miles away from i95. We arrived there from Florida. I expected it to be near i-95. Why 10 miles away? Please remove it from your list. It is not worth to spend money for it. We do not feel safe there - people smoke and drink there. the last few hotels you gave us during our vacation are money times better than this. Get rid of this from your list.”

“Need a stronger wireless Internet signal. My laptop wireless connection could not pick up your signal without a loaner link-sys from the front desk. Pink mold on shower head (recommend brass shower heads). Exhaust fans needed in the bathrooms!”

• The staff was more concerned with chatting with family members loitering in the lobby than checking me in properly.

“I reserved a room with one king sized bed and got a room with two full beds and a blank look from the desk clerk when I asked her about the reservation. The clerk barely managed to break away from chatting with her stepfather to answer my questions or check us in properly. Must have a talk with William Shatter about who he shills for in the future.”
