Miranda from Richwood, OH
“The staff was extremely helpful. Security was present at all times and even patrolled the halls. The building itself is obviously very old and in need of small repairs. One thing was rather confusing though, the hotel is named The Niagara not Ramada. For those not familiar with Niagara Falls, it's easy to be lost. I actually loved the lobby of the hotel. It was quite pretty. I have to say, I expected a lot worse considering other reviews I had read.” Aug 28, 2007 by
Sudev from Fremont, CA
“This hotel is a run down, shabby place, and should be immediately closed down by the authorities, the rooms have broken walls, the bathrooms licks, and AC may or may not work. The hotel stuff gave keys to your room to another guest, its totally unsafe; they come and bang on your door at the middle of the night. Finally there are bed bugs. They simply hang up on you, when you confront them, they says that you should have inquired before coming. Stay away from this place, I saw a family spending night on the lobby and being charged money for that. If you care for yours and yours family's safety, stay away from this hotel.” Aug 27, 2007 by
Chad from Hinsdale, NH
“The tub was dirty with chipped paint. The carpet was dirty and needs to be replaced. The windows wouldnt close and there were giant spiders all over the ceiling because of the windows. The television didn't work as the elevators did not either. I must say "do not under any circumstances get a room here, it ruined our honeymoon".” Aug 27, 2007 by
Ed from Spring Valley, IL
“It reminded me of my tour of duty in Vietnam.” Aug 20, 2007 by
Orville from Rochester, NY
“It is a beautiful hotel; seem like it has a lot of history but it needs immediate attention. The elevators were confused all week, need programming. They were stopping at the wrong floor and passing you up and down wasting a lot of time. The parking was atrocious, too little space for parking. They need modern doors that can be closed. They really need to do something about it. Having said that my wife would stay there again mainly for the Jacuzzi and the additional room when we could take our kids with us. That was a plus for the hotel.” Jul 10, 2007 by
Greg M. from Brandywine, MD
“I and everyone who stayed there was really upset and surprised that Ramada did not monitor their hotels. It would be a great hotel if Ramada would put some money into replacing the elevator and hiring good housekeeping. People even complained of roaches in their beds. Many said that they would never stay at another Ramada again.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jul 6, 2007 by

“The hotel is very conveniently located to the Niagara Falls attractions and is in walking distance to most. It wasn't as clean as I would have expected it to be and we had some furniture that needed to be repaired.” Jul 1, 2007 by
Yon from Madison, NJ
“If your concern, in your travel, is about the travel expenses, this hotel may make you meet your expectation. But, if not, you may be in panic.” Jun 30, 2007 by

“Overall this hotel delivered what is to be expected by a one star hotel. The friendly staff did all they could to make the stay as best as possible.” Jun 6, 2007 by
Don from Erie, PA
“Very close to Seneca Niagara casino and the falls but hotel had a hot water problem on June 2nd and third.” May 30, 2007 by
Eva from Mississauga, ON CA
“I would not recommend this particular Ramada Inn to any of my friends and relatives. I've left my digital camera in the hotel lobby for a few seconds and it's gone. The staff are not helpful.” May 27, 2007 by
Ahmad from Stow, OH
“In fact very poor and any time not go to this hotel.” Mar 22, 2007 by
Dan from Ashtabula, OH
“The owner of this hotel does no upkeep. The paint on the walls is chipped, it's dirty, I wouldn't shower there and when I stayed there, I slept on top of the comforter. I suppose if you are looking for an inexpensive place to sleep, it's ok. I will spend ” Mar 8, 2007 by
Michelle from Clay, NY
“My husband and I enjoyed our little get away. It was clean and the staff was friendly. ” Jan 3, 2007 by

“Would not return.” Dec 30, 2006 by
Jianhao from Los Angeles, CA
“It's not bad. But it was pretty bare. Maybe because I was there on boxing day.” Nov 5, 2006 by
Ashish from Somerset, NJ
“Stanched rooms. Tiny shower room. Rusted knobs. Water in the taps stops randomly. Very old look. Not so clean. The staff member was very new and had to call another person for almost all questions I asked. She couldn't even check us in properly. But she was helpful when I approached her with my problems. She offered to change the two rooms I had booked, to better rooms. Even the "better" rooms had a smell and the tub was scraped/ broken.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Oct 20, 2006 by

“Unfortunately for the hotel the city is under renovation as is the hotel. Parking was awful, the roads were detoured around the hotel so we had quite a walk to get to the lobby. Lobby is beautiful but the windows in the room need to be air tight (to cold) and the tub should have been replaced, peeling paint, faucet needed new washer it leaked.” Oct 1, 2006 by
Kyung from Durham, NC
“There is just a public parking lot backside this hotel. It used to be occurred there that some villains make a hole to your tire or damages to your car. Of course, this hotel has never the responsibility against those accidents.” Sep 29, 2006 by
Sanjeev from Hatfield, PA
“I recommend you this hotel should not be in your list.” Sep 16, 2006 by
Muhammad from Fairfax, VA
“The hotel could have been a paradise for the tourists because of its location but due to hotel management the condition of the hotel makes it the least likely choice. The first room we were given had broken tiles and chocked sinks. The substituted room has bugs in the beds. I got lucky and was not bitten by the bugs but my wife is still going through the problem of having been treated by the bugs. She has rashes and marks all over her body. Also the male staff of the hotel needs to training for being curious.” Sep 9, 2006 by
Don from Lima, NY
“The street is under complete construction, the parking lot was in horrible disrepair with little lighting. The restaurant makes the hotel smell terrible. The room was tiny; the shower looked like it was removed from Alcatraz prison after it was closed, the window does not open, the air conditioner was loud. I could go on but you get the idea.” Sep 8, 2006 by
Do N. from Belleville, MI
“I have stayed at Ramada's earlier and have always likes their rooms. However, this one was a totally shocking experience. Room was dirty, restroom was a disaster. Very unhygienic I also saw a complaint from someone who stayed in that room before me and nobody had picked that complaint card, so I knew that if I complain to the hotel staff then I will only waste my time, so I did not complain about anything. But this experience surely makes me rethink about staying at Ramada's ever again.” Aug 29, 2006 by
Suresh from Corona, NY
“Value for money.” Aug 29, 2006 by
Sumit from Ashburn, VA
“Very poor.” Aug 29, 2006 by
L. from Amherst, NY
“Overall, we had a good experience with this hotel. The smell of Indian food from the downstairs restaurant was a tad overwhelming in the lobby, but the rest of the area was very nice. Our room was clean and as stated in the ad, and it was very convenient to cross the boarder (about one block away). Much cheaper and nicer than the motels offered for the same price across the boarder.” Aug 29, 2006 by
Aji from Wilmington, DE
“The hotel stinks, The staff is real bad. Room is too small and dirty. Bath rooms are too small and stinky. Waste of my money.” Aug 28, 2006 by
Sheila from Osteen, FL
“Small dirty, no hot water not even warm but staff was nice.” Aug 26, 2006 by
Md from Jamaica, NY
“I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. The whole place looks run down inside. Neither elevator works right at random times. The halls smell of Indian food. Also, many of the rooms have messed up air conditioning.” Aug 25, 2006 by
Csr from Centerville, OH
“N/A” Aug 24, 2006 by

“We found bugs on our bed. carpet smells like urine.” Aug 22, 2006 by
Mary A. from Liverpool, NY
“I rented two rooms for the night- I should be refunded for my horrible experience- gum in the shower, dirty Q-tip on floor, table light did not work, toilet did not work w/o putting water in it from the ice bucket, requested a shower cap that I never got, requested two rooms with queen size beds never got. I made complaints twice to the front desk and later on I found out that they weren't even written down. ” Aug 21, 2006 by
Alison from Moorhead, MN
“Parking is in the back of the hotel in an unlit lot. You have to walk around the building to get to the lobby. The lobby and elevators smell of curry from the Indian restaurant in the building. We stayed on the 16th floor, and stepping off the elevator we smelled wet carpet. But when we opened the door to our room, we were completely disgusted! It reeked of mold. It was growing in the shower and on the curtain. The bathroom was extremely small. The bed was bouncy and the blankets were dirty. There were spider webs in the lamp shades, and you couldn't open your window to air out the room as there was no screen and there were lots of bugs and spiders crawling on the window. We left our suitcases in the room, and after leaving, we noticed that all of our clothing smelled of mold. The location was great, but hardly worth it. I would suggest the Four points Sheridan or the Holiday Inn which were only a block or two away.” Jun 28, 2006 by
Pete from Elmira, NY
“I would not stay here again-the rooms were very small-cable TV was terrible- hallways and elevator smelled - front desk people tried to charge me twice for the same room even after telling them I paid already.” Jun 12, 2006 by
Violeta from Toronto, ON CA
“While the hotel has an absolutely wonderful location and its frontal architectural presentation is quite enticing, the room (#901) we were given was absolutely terrible. Also, the hotel lobby looks very inviting, spacious and fairly clean. However, the room was not clean, and its bathroom was literally coffin-sized with only a shower so small and dirty that could not be used at all. In addition, the two windows were very dirty. The TV set was lacking a remote control and although we inquired the night before and allowed ample time for its delivery (even offered to pick it up ourselves), it was not delivered until the next day at around 10am and only after we inquired about it a second time. Immediately after seeing our room's bathroom condition, I went to Reception and requested another room but was told that there were no other rooms available and was dismissed quite courtly. The lesson I learned is that from now on, I would check a hotel room prior to agreeing to stay in it. In my opinion, it would be a good idea to increase the rooms' level of cleanliness, definitely clean the windows (inside and outside) and give the windows' coverings a good wash. As to Room #901 bathroom situation, please transform the room into a single-bed size room and amplify the size of its bathroom (i.e. install a bath-tub, repair the walls and ensure that the room's fan works properly). I would recommend the hotel due to its location and frontal and lobby presentation, but would advise the prospective travelers to stay away from corner rooms that end in X01 such as 90! Thank you for reading this!” Jun 10, 2006 by
Anil from East Windsor, NJ
“I reserved two rooms. One was of OK, but the bathroom was very bad. The flush was not work. The second room was so small it hardly had space to move around. As a whole the hotel had a bad smell and was stinking every where. Outside around the hotel there were non picked trash lying everywhere. I would never ever think or recommend anyone this hotel.” Jun 8, 2006 by
Ray from Mason, OH
“Location of this hotel attracted me, however this is the last time I have been to this hotel. The rooms were not clean, broken toilets and totally unprofessional staff. I had made reservation for 2 nights way in advance and even though I had the confirmation receipt, my room keys stopped working the 2nd day and the front desk person starts arguing with me that his system shows someone else in that room for the night and he even says he is going to have my stuff removed from the room. At this point, I lost my patience and asked to be directed to the manager or I was going to call Police. Sure enough things got done after that.” May 25, 2006 by
Dostana from State College, PA
“I was satisfied for the price I paid. I spent only one night in the hotel as a tourist. We were on tenth floor and had a beautiful view from our window. I think that because of its height and position it is the best building in the area. Its a proper place to stay for a short time.” May 24, 2006 by
Kimberly from Endicott, NY
“After arriving at the hotel and checking in we asked where to park. A staff member told us a parking lot that was just across the street. When we tried to park there the lot attendant told us we were not allowed. We went back to the hotel and told them we were told we couldn't park there. The staff members first response was that he could not refund our room because we were prepaid. They made no effort to accommodate us and we ended up parking way down the street in a garage that was ten dollars a day. Did I mention we had to walk there the next morning in a wind chill of about 30 degrees.” May 1, 2006 by
Christy from West Pittsburg, PA
“I would have never stayed here if I would have seen the inside. The bathroom was no where up to date. It was old and gross. Not clean. We opened the curtain and it fell off the rod. Our TV reception was fuzzy too. There was no walking room in this room either. The bed took up the whole room. The bed was nice and big. A little comfortable. I would not stay here again.” Apr 26, 2006 by
Holly from Covina, CA
“Hotel Room had not been cleaned or checked. Inch of dirt on tables. No toilet paper or Kleenex, no coffee, cups, ice bucket, or trash can in room. We arrived at 10pm, and called for TP they made us walk down to lobby to get it. TV broken! When going to take shower next morning found shower head broken! Could only take Bath! Rest room moldy and hall way was very dark, damp, and smelly. Hotel night staff at desk wearing sweats & screen tees. Not professional. Morning staff much better. Did apologize” Apr 25, 2006 by
kelly from boston
“This hotel was one of the worst that I have ever imagined. First of all the bathroom was dirty and full of dust the bathtub was the cleanest place to be in the whole room. The beds were made up but as soon as the sheets came down stains and light and dark spots started to show up. The staff was presentable and decent but the rooms were not worth the money that we paid. All that I can really say is that it really was not up to par and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.” Apr 17, 2006 by
Vv from Framingham, MA
“The hotel has a great location. Very close to the falls and all other activities. However, the rooms with a single queen/king beds are rather small. The rooms with double beds are spacious. Parking is limited.” Apr 5, 2006 by
Sundeep from Norwalk, CT
“Great location. Walking distance from the Falls, but poorly maintained... Dirty, leaking & stinking bathroom with broken locks etc.”
