• Disgusting place, dirty, unkept, way below expectations.

“Horrible experience: dirty smell when getting off the elevator - I had to hold my breath each trip, room carpet was stained, tub had hair left in it from previous guests, bathroom floor sticky, extreme noise problem. Even my husband wore his socks to bed so he wouldn't have to step on the floor barefoot. I am not expecting too much as we travel frequently. While the location is keen, the hotel is old, musty, dark and depressing. You would have to have cataracts or scales on your eyes to think this place is okay. And just for the record, we paid less at a 4 star hotel.”

“This is a very good hotel. The people that are complaining are crazy, they want a 5 star resort for 2 star prices. This place is clean and well kept. The pool was clean and open till 11pm, the kids enjoyed that.”

“I found the hotel to be run down the walls in the lobby hallways and elevators were filthy, scuffed and had broken mirrors. the carpets were badly stained all over the hotel and smelled.”

• The location of the hotel was the only attraction it has.
• Its not worth the price and its reputation.

“The hotel is not well maintained. The room bed sheets were dirty and looked stained. The room carpet was dirty and at the corner of the walls it felt like there was some makeover being done and left in the half way. This gave a very creepy and scary feeling being with small kids.”

• Very convenient to the falls. No need to use the car. Quiet rooms.
• Need renovation. Old and musty facility. Could be a 5 star place with upgrade.

“All in all it was nice for the price. Staff was very courteous and knowledgeable, eager to help. The rooms and amenities are very old, most likely from the 60's. Elevator must be replaced as it has seen hard times and extremely slow. Parking garage needs cleaning and updated lighting as it doesn't appear safe and open to the public via tunnel at street level.”

• The front desk staff was nice.
• This hotel was dirty and in disrepair.

“This hotel had quite pleasant employees. This was the only saving grace. The mattresses were awful; the bathrooms were held together with caulk. The lobby; hallways and rooms would not be considered clean by anyone.”

• Near the falls. That is the only advantage.
• Poor quality bed, I am on Bengay. My back still hurts.

• Great Location.
• The hotel was not maintained at all, very smoky and dusty smell and the staff was not friendly.

“The hotel is in a great location but it seems that it hasnt had a cleaning team in months or years. The rooms smell smoky and dusty and the hallways, carpets and bathrooms are not maintained. Staff wasnt friendly, infact the lady who checked me in was very rude. Not a very inviting hotel, the moment you enter the lobby.”

• Very friendly and efficient check-in and out.
• Ice machine on our floor not working and not being worked on.

“Good quality for the dollar spent. Would return for an economical night or two. Quite adequate for our needs.”

• Cleanliness, outdated TV, Sheets atrocious.

“Room different from booking. Sheets very thin and didn't even fit the bed. Had to remake bed twice during the night. Bathroom not very clean and old. TV outdated and kept losing reception. View was great of the border crossing!”

• Excellent location. Nice rooms. Reasonable price, Clean.
• Front desk staff is rough. We forgot something in the room and only the manager solved the situation and sent the item by FedEx.

“Can be recommended for a family with little children. The restaurant (Dennys) besides location is convenient. Room price is reasonable (in late Oct). Clean. Nice rooms. Good beds. Excellent location. You can walk to the park and leave the car in the parking of the hotel. You can walk to Canada as well. We had a good experience.”

• Staff was friendly and helpful.
• The pool area (and the pool itself) was not very warm. Both could have stood to go up about 10 degrees. Our baby's lips turned blue!

“Staff was friendly and accommodating. Parking under the hotel was nice since it rained all weekend. The bathroom floor was sticky and the view from our 2nd floor window was terrible. It would have been nice if the pool was warmer and not located just off the lobby. Who wants to go thru the lobby in your swim robe and swimming attire? Overall the hotel was not bad for the price but left me wishing we had been willing to spend a little more and stay somewhere nice.”

• It was close to all of the attractions we wished to see.
• The tub was poorly cleaned; showed visible wear and some dirt and mildew were seen.

“For our purpose this hotel was okay. The bathroom was not up to our expectations of cleanliness. However the beds were fairly comfortable and we were able to sleep well. The rooms decor and TV were dated. The convenience of the attractions from the hotel was great.”

• It was very close to the international bridge and the American falls.
• This hotel did not have wireless internet. I was told to go to another hotel's lobby to get a wireless connection.

“Dirty and dated. The television set was an artifact from the late 1970s. The linens were worn. This could be a great hotel if they invested some capital into the physical structure.”

• This hotel is in very good location, close to Niagara Falls, it is clean.
• There is no hot water supplied, no microwave oven, no refrigerator, it's not convenient for the family trip.

• Walking distance to Niagara fall which is very convenient.
• The pool water look cloudy/dirty.

“Everything about the hotel is great except for the swimming pool which look dirty due to the cloudy water.”
