• The room had a microwave and refrigerator (but no freezer).
• Having to clean the entire bathroom before using it.

“The hotel formerly was a La Quinta Inn and in May 2008 changed affiliation to Quality Inn. Rooms are comfortable and TV channels are good. The bed was a king.”

• The complimentary breakfast was superb!
• The driveway off the street is in poor condition and passes between decrepit buildings.

“I enjoyed this hotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was excellent and served in a spacious and relaxing dining room. The exercise room was accessible, simple and adequate.”

• Attentive staff, clean rooms, good breakfast.
• Driveway needs to be repaved.

“When you drive into this hotel, you are somewhat frightened - the driveway is a mess. However, the lobby is clean and bright. The rooms are large and the staff is attentive.”

• Accommodating staff.
• Somewhat hidden off Maple Ave. If your coming from Piedmont Triad. Directional Signage Lighting was out.

“Stayed 3 nights, two out of three OK. Friday night revelers up to 3:30 AM, accommodating truckers rigs sometime blocking on checkins (you could get around), room not made one day, pet friendly, middle of night accidental step on pooch yelp. Sits right on RTE 40, depending on winds got road noise all night one night. That all being said not bad for the price.”

• The room was spacious; it was quiet and peaceful.
• When I asked to be move from the exit/laundry/snack machine area to another room; I was told I could not be accommodated.

• Room was nice, clean.
• Check in clerk was rude, not convenient to get to, had to go down an alley to get to the hotel. The driveway entrance was not inviting at all.

“The entrance was through a dark alley way, the sign on Maple ave did not even have a light on it. You had to go down a completely dark parking lot/alley way to get to the motel. When we arrived the clerk was rude just handed us the keys and started to turn away. I had to ask "where is the room?" before she instructed us where to go. The room itself was nice, bed was comfortable and it seemed clean. The best service was that on a day we didn't have our room cleaned, the house keeping staff left us new towels at the door.”

• Free internet access.
• Nasty location.

“This hotel is located in an ugly part of town. I did not feel safe in the area. We parked our vehicle near front door with hopes that it would deter any thieves. The staff was adequate. The hotel had a bad odor in the hallways. The beds were not comfortable. It appears that a renovation took place within the last few years, but the place needs more attention (poor renovation). The ac/heat unit was very noisy in our room.”

• Check in desk clerk was very helpful and the room had a refrigerator.
• The bed was very hard and the decorations seemed dated.

“Overall, good but I was not part of the points program and I like to earn point. The bed was very hard and that spelled cheap.”

• The price.
• Older facility, freeway noise.

“Not bad for the price but an older facility. Many guests with dogs, grounds need to keep cleaner and redone in many cases. Staff friendly and accommodating.”

• I liked how close it was to the interstate.
• It was old and outdated. I definitely did not upgrade to a 2-star hotel.

“Hotel was old and outdated. The staff was very friendly. I was told that I was updated to a "2-star" Hotel. This Hotel was not any higher than one. Overall, it served its purpose as a place to keep my clothes and a place to sleep. That is all.”

• Convenient to the conference I was attending and very friendly & helpful staff.
• Bathroom was outdated.
