- The staff and room were above expectations.
- Room was beside service room and was a little noisy at 5am.
“Hotel was very nice, parking was pricey $11 a day We were on VIP floor next to a small lounge, breakfast was served at 6am, our room got a little noisy about 5am. Other than that it was fantastic, would like to go back.”

- I like the location as well as the fact that it had a fitness area.
- I didn't like that there were no refrigerators in the rooms. I didn't like that bathroom layout
“I think that the pool area needs more showers and rooms to change. I think that the hotel should invest in small refrigerators for the rooms. Other than that I had a fairly decent stay.”

- The funkiness...wasn't your run of the mill hotel decor and I loved it
- They could use better toiletries.

- We were looking for a place to dine and the hotel staff provided us with printed directions to the 3 most popular areas near the hotels. It was great!
- We had to pay for parking in the garage. $20 for two days of unlimited entry/exits to the garage. Otherwise, you have to find parking on the street!
“Overall, my stay was very pleasant. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. And the rooms were adequate size for two people.”

- Bathroom could have been cleaner. Tile grout dirty. And, I would have liked to have had a refrigerator and microwave. Paying for local calls.

- The hotel was clean and beautiful. It is located in a prime location in down town Greensboro.
- They did not have any non-smoking rooms or king size beds when I arrived. I had to stay in a smoky room.
“The hotel it self was beautiful, I would recommend it to anyone. They need to be more smoke free for non-smoking customers. ”

- It has a convenient downtown location. The rooms are nicely appointed and clean. Prices reasonsonable. Staff is friendly and helpful.
- There wasn't any bottled water in the rooms, nor water in vending machines.
“Although this hotel does not have all the amenities one may be accustomed to when staying at a J.W. Marriott, it does meet the needs of the average business traveler. It is conveniently located and the rooms are nicely appointed. It's the best choice available in downtown Greensboro.”

- Wish they offered a continental breakfast.

- we liked the indoor pool, sauna & hot tub
- the waiter at the hotel restaurant was not nice
“We liked this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. I had hoped that the room would have had a whirlpool tub in the bathroom but none of their rooms offer that. We enjoyed our stay.”

- Great location, easy to get to. 7 minutes to the Greensboro Coliseum
- The bar is in the main lobby, so the smell or cigarette smoke was very overwhelming.
“I really enjoyed the stay. The beds were very comfortable. However, the hotel gym could have better hours. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a visit to Greensboro.”

- It was very easy to get to from the Highway the staff was friendly and courteous and the rooms where beautiful

- It didn't meet my expectations of quality... The room was a little dim and dated and worn
“The staff overall seemed very competent. The lobby was confusing. We wanted to go to the lounge and have a drink, but there were no signs pointing us there, usually the lounge is right near check in so if you're waiting for guests, they don't have to walk around the whole hotel. For the highest star rating that I picked, I thought the clientel in the hotel would be a little nicer. The few people we did see walking around were scary/thugish looking. The room looked like it could use a spruce up. The lounge chair they had in their was very worn looking. The border wallpaper was torn in spots (big chunks). The view looked out on to a roof top. But, the bed was extrememly comfortable, the cable/tv was easy enough to navigate.”

“It was a decent hotel for the price I paid, but sure glad I didn't pay Rack rate. The rooms were spacious, bed/pillows were comfy, the water was hot. For this one night stay over, that's all I needed. It would be fine for the business/overnight traveller.”
