• The bed was amazingly comfortable. Loved it!
• The carpet was filthy. I was never comfortable walking in bare feet in the room.

• Wi-Fi did not work, staff was unhelpful, items in room were unmaintained/broken.

“This hotel smells musky and unclean. Item such as air conditioning handles and shower facets were broken. Wi-Fi was non functioning, staff was ambivalent and unconcerned with these issues. I would not stay at this hotel nor recommend it to anyone I know.”

• The room was smoking, and comfortable.
• The room was supposed to have a microwave and refrigerator, and it did not!

“Overall, it was a pleasure. The internet showed it had a microwave and refrigerator, included in the room cost. That would've been more convenient. I could have saved money on food costs. I won't be returning to this hotel.”

• Cleanliness of the room- housekeepers clean the room before 12 noon- very well.
• The breakfast was lousy and cheap- lack of fruits, not too many choices- too much starch.

“Since the hotel is internet wireless, I was able to keep up with my work even away from home- That's a plus Minus- The curtains in my room were not good- the hook was broken, therefore, the light from outside went straight to my eyes at night, it was very uncomfortable- basically, I did not enjoy good nights sleep another minus- The breakfast is very cheap- come on, breakfast time is 6:00 to 10 am. If you come down around 8:00am you will not find any fruits. By the way, when I mention fruit I am talking only orange and a banana. The hotel has a only one type of tea, my partner wanted some tea but since the one they have will not fit well in his stomach he stay without it the whole time. In most hotels, coffee, tea stays all day. In this hotel, if you want a cup of coffee around 1:00 pm. Everything is empty. If this hotel wants to attract customers, they must ameliorate their breakfast. All they have for breakfast was bagel, waffle, and juice, and the same kind of oatmeal every day another minus- a staff member will come and clean a table next to you, they will look at you in the eyes, not even a good morning. I stayed one in Hampton Inn; the staff was buoyant energetic, friendly, helpful. I plan to go back to Greens Boro very soon; Ramada Inn is definitely not my choice.”

• Lots of good restaurants and stores in the area.
• Very limited breakfast. Not as good as an average motel.

“This is just another generic 1 star motel that got a 2 star rating by placing an iron, ironing board, and hair dryer in the room. You won't remember anything about this place 3 days after you leave.”

• Smoke encrusted filthy room. Stains on the walls. Worst hotel experience in years!

“If you are looking for a dirty, Smokey, lodging experience- this is the spot. This place was like a motel from a horror movie. My jacket smelled like smoke just from draping it over the chair. This place reminded me why I don't normally stay at a franchised hotel.”

“They were power sanding in the evening in the room next to ours and in the early morning we were disturbed by the sound of a crane being brought in to then power drill the wall above us.”

• Heat did not work. Entry lights did not work. TV in bad shape.

“The Ramada is a reasonable hotel. My particular room had a heater that did not function properly, a TV that did not function properly, and an entrance light that did not function properly. Despite the hotel being 15% full, I was placed on the third floor facing the highway instead of on the "quiet" side of the hotel. Checkout personnel were nice, but check-in personnel were less than customer friendly.”

• The toilet leaked.

“Was not a bad hotel and did not expect luxury but did expect more of a breakfast and not a leaky toilet. So I cannot complain I guess. We were safe and slept under a roof. So we left happy.”

• It was close to the coliseum.
• It was old and very run down. The paint was peeling off the walls; light in bathroom did not work. Paint peeling, very noisy too close to Interstate.

“This hotel was very run down. It was very noisy as it was too close to the Interstate. The room had paint peeling off the walls; the ceiling was cracked in many places. Bathroom was old, fixtures needed caulk. All carpets in room, and halls had many stains. I really would only give it a 1/2 of a star. It is motel6 quality.”

• I love the spacious room with full kitchen. Also the bed and pillows.
• No restaurant- no wireless internet; has only wired internet.

“Nice conveniently located hotel with a friendly and accommodating staff. I traveled with my wife and we were initially given double beds. We were switched with no problem. While the rooms were mostly clean thee were some irksome things. The bar was missing from the toilet paper holder. The single lever shower faucet strangely went cold to colder in one direction and stopped - and warm to hot in the other direction. No smoking rooms but cigarette butts littered the walkways and werent moved in our 2-day stay. Standard continental breakfast was kept fully supplied while patrons were still coming. Overall, not bad for the money but they could pay more attention to the details.”

• It was the only room I found in Greensboro during furniture market week.
• It was old, felt old & dirty, outside access of room, pool covered.

“It was all I could find. It was shelter I would not ask to stay there again. Most rooms were outside access. It was an older hotel although it appeared to be updated about 5 years ago just had that dirty feeling, where you want to check the sheets carefully and did not walk barefoot.”

• Maintenance of hotel room was poor. Elevator location should be in interior of hotel for safety factor.

“A rather disappointing hotel. Can't come up with anything very positive about the hotel. There is a breakfast, but not very good. There is a pool that is ok. There is good free Wi-Fi. Room not very kept and not up to date. The room has been clean, but it did not feel comfortable to be in. Overall, not really a 2 star hotel.”

• I felt unsafe. Basically, it's a rundown motel.

“My husband and I were looking to save some money while attending a wedding out of town. We had a safe, affordable and overall enjoyable experience with our hotel. The staff was Dolls! Very enjoyable and I would stay there again. Not great for families because there aren't many eateries close, but perfect for the budget minded couple!”

• There was nothing I liked about this hotel.
• Ants in room. Room was not clean. Bad smell.

“Very poor hotel. There were ants in the room. The room had a peculiar heavy perfume smell. There was something greasy on the remote control. Carpet was dirty. Exterior walls of hotel were dirty which can be attributed to the interstate but they were still dirty. I rarely complain but it was rather poor. I reported most ants and smell to front desk who noted the complaint.”

• The Location.
• The place was falling apart.

“The place was less than clean, falling apart (The light fixture fell from above the toilet and hit me in the head). The house keeping did not give us toilet paper, change our sheets or make up our bed. There were dead bugs in our window seal and we had to clean the shower etc. ourselves. Each day my room key was deactivated and I had to go down to the front desk to have it reactivated. We had to move rooms because of the number of kids above us running back and forth across the floor. The staff appeared not to care about any of the above. If it was not for my mother having major surgery and me not having time to find another hotel I would have checked out after the first night. I was extremely disappointed.”
