• The bed.
• Poor service and old facilities.

“The weight room said state of the art and it was a complete joke with outdated and broken equipment. The bathroom was horrible. The tub was nasty and dripping, they put wall paper over the old nasty bathroom walls. The ceiling had brown spots also. However, to make the visit worst - we asked for a king size bed and they tried to put us in a room with twin beds - the receptionist told us to push the beds together! Are you serious! Never again.”

• The initial greeting was great.
• Noise and our clothes were ruined.

“I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. There was a large group of kids there and they were not quiet and the hotel tried once to quiet them and that was it. We left numerous complaints and it was not justified. Their air conditioning unit leaked all over the floor and our belongings were not compensated.”

• Cleanliness in all areas of the hotel.
• Faulty AC.

“I chose this hotel for its proximity to Guildford College. That is its main attraction. It's clean and the bed was comfortable. Not bad for a night or two, but not memorable either.”

“A clean, decently appointed room with a large comfortable lobby. Did not eat dinner here, but the breakfast was very good. The only draw back was the location. Not unusual, but you would have to drive wherever it is you want to go.”

• Very noisy, WiFi not working, TV remote not working, floor filthy.

“We were put in a room next to the entrance and elevator. Very loud noises throughout the night until 2 a.m., people walking in and out laughing and screaming. WiFi drops off every other minute due to weak signals, TV remote doesn't work, carpet looks like not being vacuumed for ages.”

• Pretty run down and not as clean as it should be.

“We were only there for 5 hours so didn't see most of the facilities. What I didn't like is they had a sign suggesting a breakfast that would be free with a coupon for staying there. We ate breakfast (which wasn't very good) then went to get the coupons and were told it didn't apply to our room I had to pay $17.00 for a crap breakfast.”

• Over-priced, low level hotel. Felt unsafe. Poor customer service. Room did not feel clean.

“I was disappointed in this hotel. Do not believe it should be rated 2.5 stars. Observed altercation between staff and customer. Poorly handled by staff.”

• Soiled panties in hallway, backed up toilet, kids running thru halls.

“The hotel staff were friendly, however the room did not meet my expectation. I asked for a room for two travelers, the room had one full sized bed. The toilet was stopped up with waste from a previous guest. Campers were running through the halls all hours of the night. There were a pair of soiled panties in the hallway.”

• Room size and room furnishings, comfortable bed.
• Common areas were thread bare.

“This location is convenient to I-40 and I-85 and the airport. It also has good access to western Greensboro. The room was very spacious and it was furnished well. There is a restaurant on-site; for fast food or other choices there is nothing within walking distance but there are several options within a 10 minute drive. The common areas and halls of the hotel are a little dark and threadbare but the room was fine.”

• Noisy kids, older rooms while clean need treatment to bring to current standards.

“Located conveniently close to the highway. Weekend families with extremely noisy kids were a problem. This may rate 2 stars but definitely not two and a half.”

• Mailed earrings to me that wife forgot.
• The bath tub was stopped up and I didnt fin out till 1am. They didnt fix it while I was there.

“The hotel was great! The only problem I has was that after going to a concert and coming back to my room at 1am, I had to take a shower with a stopped up tub. I was standing in 6inches of water by the time that I was done.”

• I didn't like anything about this hotel.
• Old and unattractive.

“Continental breakfast was listed in the room as an amenity- not true. Newspaper was supposed be at the door in the morning-not there. Staff unfriendly. This hotel was rated as a 2.5 star but I think you give it too much credit. Supposed to be a non-smoking room but the cigarette burns on the bathroom sink counter say otherwise and the smell was overwhelming. We will not stay there again and do not recommend it to anyone.”

“The hotel was fine; however, the walls were too thin and we could here the TV next door. Also, there was a domestic dispute across the hall at 3 AM and the couple's infant child was awake and crying from 1-3am.”

“For a reasonably priced place to lay my head down it was a good deal. For a hotel full of business travelers the restaurant was dead. The food was OK. Overall, nothing to get excited about.”

“I've stayed at this hotel over the years. I'm never disappointed. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and the beds are very inviting. If you need to come to Greensboro, don't overlook this hotel.”

“We were given a room in on the first floor in a dimly lit hallway. The star rating of the room we received was not what we requested. The bed was uncomfortable, toilet ran, cigarette stains on the bathroom counter, no plug in the tub, hairdryer falling of the wall, coffee maker broken, light on desk was blown.”

“The hotel is located exactly where we wanted to stay. However, that was the only positive. The staff is rude and uninformed; our room was located on the outside of the building through an unmarked, broken security door. The noise from the other guests and traffic prevented any sleep. When we checked out, I was not surprised when they didn't ask "how was your stay?" They are most likely used to hearing about how terrible it is there.”

“This is a great hotel, but I was turned off on Sunday morning when I awoke to realize that there was no running water! If I had known prior to checking in I would not have made my reservation for that day.”

• The price was way too high for no breakfast being included and the beds being double beds instead of Queen beds. I made a big mistake booking there!
