- It was very nice, I like the fact that we could not hear any airplanes at all even being right next to the airport.
- Nothing.
“Great location and plenty of parking, very nice gym and the pool area. Everyone was so nice. Even though there were several different venues going on we did not have any trouble with noise in the hallway. We will stay there again if we have to go to NC.”

- The rooms were clean.
- The resturants close entirely too early and the shutter in the morning to airport doesn't start until 7am. What a disservice to guest!
“The hotel itself is nice, if you're only looking for a pretty nice place to stay. The restaurants close to EARLY. I must say this too. I got food from the restaurant, and I wasn't pleased with the food. Over cooked!”

- A little far from the mainstream for individual business travel. Would be OK for group business meeting.

- We loved the indoor and outdoor pool. We loved the concierge lounge.
- The pool was slightly over chlorinated and nothing major.

- They had no rooms with 2 queen beds. The list shows a breakfast buffet. Once there, we were told it was open from 7:00-7:30 only (on Saturday).
“Nice for a 3 start but we get the same and more from most 2 star hotels PLUS a free breakfast. Not worth the extra money. We can't believe people pay the full price. We felt we overpaid for what we got and what we wanted. Next time we'll just go back to Best Western or Comfort Suites.”

“Had to call for sheets, blankets etc. The blankets were more like a flannel sheet than a blanket. The room was noisy and needless to say uncomfortable for sleeping. Needless to say after a night of very little sleep I was delighted to have an early morning flight out. This practice should be forbidden.”

“Heavy construction in the area to create better traffic flow from the airport. A little confusing when trying to find the hotel with the GPS system. Hotel does not offer wireless internet service. So be prepared to be charged $10 per day to use your own laptop. Great hotel, friendly and very nicely decorated.”

The fact that they charge for internet usage was less than ideal for me as a business traveler, I ate dinner in the bar and the atmosphere was not extremely welcoming to a solo traveler, but my meal was great. “It was fine and you could not hear the planes at all for its location next to the airport. The bathrooms were small and when others opened and closed their doors, our door jumped, so you always heard them. The quality of the bed was great and the service was wonderful however. Overall, good for staying next to the airport for morning flights, but not close to anything to do. It is almost like being on a deserted island.”

- Proximity to airport (on site) the gentleman at front desk 2nd shift 1/21/08 was exceptionally friendly, yet professional. Liked having a balcony.

- Hotel overbooked on dbls and never brought rollaway that was promised.
“The hotel itself was a decent full service property, however it was a bit hard to find (easy to miss as there are no highly visible signs). It was also out of the way. I came to Greensboro for a very specific event (show at the barn theater), but if Id had plans to do a variety of activities in Greensboro, I would've found the Marriott to be very inconvenient. This was not a huge deal though. My only real concern was the fact that when my mom and I got to the hotel around 4 in the afternoon, we were advised that there were no double rooms available. I really couldnt be angry. The desk agent said they'd send a rollaway. The rollaway never came. When we got back from the show around 11 and called to check on our missing rollaway, we were told that the only rollaway that was left was broken, but they could give me an air mattress. Now I have nothing against air mattresses, but Im a grown woman! The idea of sleeping on the floor on an air mattress does not appeal to me at all. The person at the desk offered us complimentary breakfast as compensation. When we got up for breakfast the next day, I suggested to my mom that we needed to stop by the front desk first to see if we needed vouchers or anything. The a.m. Staff seemed a bit confused, but did provide us with vouchers. Despite those couple hiccups, the property is nice. Not fabulous, but nice, and I would definitely stay here again.”

- Clean rooms. Lots of pillows large and small. Quiet.
- Restaurant was marginal for breakfast. Service in the bar was poor.
“Good value. Comfortable rooms. Courteous staff. Getting there was very confusing due to major road construction in the area by dot. Was quiet even though located at the GSO airport.”

- comfortable bed, large shower stall, iron in room.
- WiFi not included, small pillows, no continental breakfast.
“This hotel is in a great location, you cant even hear the planes overhead for being as close to the airport as it is. The bed was very comfortable, but the pillows were tiny, not king sized like the bed. I am sure that seems picky but I had to put two pillows together to make a standard size, and it was not comfortable. The high speed internet which seems odd for a hotel which seems to be trying to pander to the business traveler market. I would think free high speed would be included, as it is in many less expensive hotels. Also, for the price I would have expected some sort of complementary continental breakfast, of which there was none, although the woman at the front desk did offer me a cup of coffee "on us". The staff was pleasant, the room comfortable for the most part, however if they are going to have an average price on this room, they need to step it up a bit. I would have felt ripped-off otherwise.”

- Nice staff and location.
- Charge for internet even in lobby.
“It was clean and comfortable and the price was right. Room service was above average and the pool looked so pretty. Staff all smiles.”
