“The view of Charleston from across the river was spectacular, especially at night from the restaurant at the top floor. The room was comfortable and had a classy decor. Although we didn't request the service, I thought it was a nice touch that they have pillow service where you can select the type of pillow you would like. The only thing I didn't like was that the sliding glass door to the balcony was permanently locked and access to the balcony was not allowed. I like to open a window for fresh air and couldn't. Other than that everything was fantastic. Service couldn't be better. Restaurant was fabulous for a relatively inexpensive and quick breakfast buffet. Great service at the bar at night. Superb location. All around great Charleston hotel. We will return!” May 14, 2008 by

“The hotel is quite moderate. The hotel was fairly clean, safe, and pretty close to the Action (not walking distance but not a far drive).” Apr 11, 2007 by

“Was a good value for the money.” Aug 18, 2006 by

“Everything at this hotel was fine. The walls were a little thin. The only complaint I really have is that I left a dress at the hotel in the wardrobe and when I called back to have it sent to me, they had not found it and did not have it.” May 9, 2006 by
Erin from Lexington, SC
“Hotel had mildew smell. Construction all over. Pressure washing was going on, therefore everything was basically shut down and you had to listen to them yelling, banging equipment until late in the evening. No accommodation were provided to make up for the inconvenience. Absolutely worst hotel stay I had in Charleston.” Apr 4, 2006 by
Vicky from Temple, GA
“Our stay was pleasant, all the staff was most courteous and helpful. Would be nice if the shuttle made a later pickup. The only unpleasant experience was our room # 142 was located under the dinning area, Staff still had their duties after closing, and it was late both nights before we could sleep, I would stay here again just a different room.” Mar 2, 2006 by
Signe from Lagrange, GA
“The customer service during my stay was excellent. The hotel is well located with ample free parking and nicely sized rooms. My only complaint, and it would stop me from choosing this hotel again, was that it smelled badly. I think it was a poor choice of cleaning products possibly combined with dirty carpets. The first room I was placed in smelled so badly that I had to be moved to another room. The second room was better, but the entire hotel had a mildly unpleasant odor. All of the staff was very gracious in handling my complaint.” Sep 16, 2004 by
“The hotel was nice and pleasant and I will stay there again.” Sep 2, 2004 by
Molly H. from Fort Pierce, FL “A Hurricane came and our hotel room lost electric and flooded with 6 inches of water.” Hotel Representatives:
