• It was very nicely decorated. The rooms were nice, very comfortable beds!
• Bathroom floor could have been a little cleaner but it wasn't gross.

“My husband and I loved this hotel. We went to dinner and headed back to the hotel as soon as possible just because the room was so comfortable. Would certainly stay here again!”

• The newly renovated rooms and lobby were very clean and beautiful.
• The air conditioner in the room was loud.

“We have stayed at this hotel before the renovation and it was OK. We were a little worried about the club/bar they had in the lobby before the renovation. After the renovation, the club/bar has been turned into a very nice restaurant and everything is more modern and very clean. The pool was excellent and the Starbucks bar was nice too. We would definitely come back and stay again with no concerns next time.”

• Vry nice and friendly staff. Acomodating for business and pleasure.
• Tere were some guest that got rather noisy at night.

“Great hotel and staff. As I arrived, I was greeted by Xavier who took my luggage upstairs and assisted my wife getting things together. In the mean time, one of the maintenance men fixed my car after having a little road hazard damage to a mud guard. 10 stars to the staff.”

• Welcoming staff, plenty of parking, great room, nice thick towels, big flat screen and great gym.

“Professional and friendly staff. Clean lobby, gift shop, business center, restaurant and indoor pool. Great gym, well equipped and everything in good working order. Rooms was large, clean with a large flat screen TV.”

  TV channels, almost non-existent.

“Menu in restaurant still needs work, items are of uneven presentation from day to day, soup served lukewarm, no bread, but butter brought, etc. However, the physical look to the rooms is stunning!”

• Awesome fitness center - as good as a health club.
• Dining room service was slow.

“Now a Sheraton, the place was awesome. Comfy beds, new HD TV, but channels were limited. Fitness center was as good if not better than in any other hotel I've ever stayed in. Had to pay for internet in room and in common area, not good. Otherwise great place to stay”

“Remodeling was beautiful. Beds were VERY comfortable and restaurant staff did not have skills for class of restaurant. Large flat panel TV in the room. Ice machine was centrally located in the hallway. Very nice fitness facility and excellent experience.”

• The rooms and beds are VERY comfortable!
• The indoor pool is cold! Too cold even for my kids.

“We've stayed at this hotel numerous time, and love the remodeling of the rooms. The large flat-screen TVs are very nice, but the channels are very limited. Having a refrigerator is extremely handy, especially when traveling with children. The beds are comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, from families with kids to business travelers. The only things we did not like was that there was no fan in the bathroom, and the indoor pool was too cold to swim in. One evening, even the spa was cold.”

• Restaurant and swimming pool were great.
• We could not get the heating function in our room to work, we had two maintainence people up no one could fix it.

“Have stayed at this site for the last eight consecutive times when it was under another management. It was an upscale hotel and now it is not has gone day considerably since my last visit. Will stay at the Mariott next year.”

• It seemed to be recently renovated and was nice and new and clean.
• Curtain pulled off the window in the hall, No room service, Pay per view didn't work. Only analog stations on TV.

“Perhaps this hotel is headed toward greater things but we weren't impressed. No room service even though the documents in the room said they had room service. The staff seemed bored and uninterested in us being there. A curtain was pulled off the wall when we got off the elevator. The place seemed deserted. Everything in the room was new and the decor was great. Just no HD TV and no pay per view.”

“The Staff was very friendly, the interior spaces were clean and attractive and the rooms were very nice. Was not please with the lack of free internet service for guest. The meetings rooms looked very nice and I would use for group meetings.”

• Older part being remodeled/long walk to room/room service bothering early in morning.

“The room itself was very nice, new, clean with a comfortable bed. The disappointment was with the check in and subsequent long walk to the room. There is a lot of construction going on which is probably why the place was so empty. At 8 o'clock in the morning the construction crews started just outside our window. The maids knocked twice, at 8 am, then at 8:20 am, I then put out the do not disturb sign and then they called about 9:30 to ask when we would be leaving. I guess they didn't have that many rooms to clean. The restaurant was empty, we did get a drink, the employees were friendly. One young man stopped what he was doing to help lift my luggage up a couple of stairs. That was a nice surprise.”

• The hotel staff was great to work with.
• We heard pipes creaking all night. The room was out of date. And they need to learn how to make beds.

“They were remodeling the outside and lobby, but they need to work on the rooms too. Don't know who taught the maids to make beds with all flat sheets, but the bottom one didn't fit. I remade the bed. Other than the pipes singing, they're going to have a nice hotel when they finish. Hopefully, I'll revisit in three or four years.”

• Under renovation. Hard to locate.

“This is a grand hotel that is under construction. It is not fair to rate at this time due to the transition. Once completed I would love to return. It will be a magnificent hotel once completed.”

“This hotel is undergoing significant renovations. The lobby is inconveniently located a great distance from the rooms. Several parts of the hotel are off limits due to the construction. Overall, this hotel is dated and in very rough shape. I was very disappointed.”

• Under renovation. Walk a mile to your room. Poor outside lighting. Poor staff.

“Its address was for a street that it is not located on (its on a frontage road). There were no lights to help travelers find the hotel. The lighting around the hotel was dim and I felt very uncomfortable. The front desk was very far (at least 1/4 mile) from the elevators. No one asked to help with my bags. The room seemed clean but I did not feel safe as the sliding glass doors to the 2nd floor porch did not lock well. Would never stay at this place again.”

• Nice front desk staff and location is good.
• The hotel is under total renovations. I had hoped for a renovated hotel room but was disappointed.

“The nice staff is trying to make the best of the extensive hotel renovations by being attentive to its guests. The actual hotel room was a disappointment, very old and dingy. The beds were very comfortable and the location is good.”

“The thermostat in the room wouldn't regulate according to temperature in the room, so it stayed on the whole night. Since I was only staying one night I wasn't too worried about comfort, as it was not that comfortable. I would rate this more of a 1 star hotel. They need to lower their prices, as they are too high for what you get.”

“Hotel was under construction and dust and debris was everywhere. They had a Prom there Sat night and there were NO parking spaces for guests, we had to park off site and walk back to the hotel, I asked to have a light by the bed repaired three times during my stay and it never was. NEVER again.”

“First this hotel has a very tough location to find. The sign is way too small and not lit up from the main road. Second, it was under some major construction so I was willing to let that pass. I understand that they were making some updates, and they are much needed. The room was adequate, but they charged for high speed internet and as an avid traveler, I believe that should be included in the stay. I suspect that the renovations will make this hotel better and I thought the room was adequate, nothing more. Stay here if you get a really cheap price or only after renovations are done. I personally do not like giving poor reviews, I rarely ever do, but this was not a good start to our first vacation together.”

“Was unaware of the fact that this hotel was under extensive renovation. Desk service was good; however, it is most difficult to function normally in an abnormal situation. Would have been nice to know that the conditions would not be normal and services would be disrupted. Simple things such as newspapers at your door, convenience to elevators, etc. Were missing.”

“The hotel is under renovation and did not accommodate the guests. There was no water pressure in the rooms and we could not take showers in the morning. When asked to speak to a manager there weren't any in the hotel. This was at check out time. No one would do anything for us, it was I'm sorry we're renovating. No kidding but that doesn't mean that we pay for rooms without water. Then they attempted to double bill for the room. Totally dissatisfied with this hotel and would never stay there again!”

“I think this can be an awesome hotel once the renovations are completed. The rooms need updating and the workmanship from before is shoddy, i.e. tub and sink caulking not neat. Rooms need heavy duty cleaning; there was mold on wallpaper above tub/shower. Bathroom tiled floor was nice. Was sad to see pool area was closed for renovations.”
