• Nothing.
• Shower & bath was dirty and water would not drain. We slept for a couple hours and headed out. We were on our way to Washington DC.

“Definitely would not recommend to anyone! It was not clean and the water did not work or drain properly.”

• Hotel staff tried to help me.
• Requested a non-smoking room, but the room wreaked of smoke.

“Good location, staff was professional & tried to assist with our room problem. When I request a particular type of room, I fully expect to get that room particularly when I we arrived shortly after the posted check-in time. Our room stunk/wreaked of smoke, making it quite uncomfortable for my wife & me, both non-smokers.”

• The swimming pool.
• Ice machines and soda machines not working properly.

“The stay was ok, and we expected what we went up on for a 2-star hotel. But couldn't believe the ice machines were down and you had to go to the front office to get ice.”

• The location was convenient for the purpose we were there for.
• The staff was not at all accommodating; I was charged $82.40 on my credit card for no reason. And they gave us a hard time when checking in. Not good.

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone in the future. We had a very hard time checking in and the staff was not at all easy to work with. Also, I could not locate an ice machine anywhere in our building, although we were given an ice bucket for our room. If there was an ice machine, it was not easily located. The room was reasonably clean and the hotel was not hard to locate. It was conveniently located to where we were going. That's about all I can say.”

• The check in clerk was very friendly and helpful.
• The stairs to the second level are narrow and unsafe.

“This hotel has a good location; however the cleanliness and user friendly aspect is below expectations. Also, the stated pool hours are not correct and very misleading.”

• It has changed hands. It is now a Quality Inn. No one told me and there was no sign. Very difficult to find.

“There was a long wait to register. The first room they gave us already had someone in it. We had to return to be reassigned. The continental breakfast" was not well maintained. We were there with 2hours left on the serving time and many items were already gone and not restocked. Meager choices to begin with !!!"”

• had to use a freight elevator for handi-cap use to dine.

“Spread out and snow removal was poor!!!!! Hotel was o.k. but not up to most holiday inn standards. ”

“Rooms were nice and clean. Restaurant service was unacceptably slow. (Someone didn't report for work, etc.). We sat with our four babies/toddlers for 30 minutes before the juice arrived.”

“I had expected the hotel to be easier to find and closer to the downtown campus of West Virginia University. It was clean and the staff were very hospitable, but I expected a little more "fanciness" given the star rating and the price.”
