“Clean. Very relaxing. Good shuttle service to city locations for entertainment, etc. Didn't have to move my car. Parking expensive.”

• The bathroom was not cleaned properly and the hallway was so noisy with adults and children screaming that the noise actually woke me up.
• We were not left shampoo and conditioner when our room was cleaned, some of the light bulbs were out, and water filled the bathtub during my shower.

“We stayed at this hotel many times and never saw this kind of disrepair. The cleaning staff was not thorough and the bathroom was dirty.”

• The location to the sports stadiums and downtown.
• That parking was not included in the price, or not discounted for staying at the hotel.

“Very nice hotel. The location is excellent for dining, shopping, sports venues and sight seeing. I would recommend to my friends and to anyone visiting Pittsburgh.”

• Pretty location, nice, comfortable room, later checkout (noon)
• Price for parking was way too high

“The room was somewhat small, but nicely furnished. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We asked for extra towels, and got them on the spot - no waiting! The only thing I did not like was the price for parking. We were there less than 12 hours, and had to pay $16 to park.”

• Parking.

“Great access to the city, as well as, dining and shopping. The parking situation is troublesome. I expect parking to be included with my stay, but I had to park across the street and pay $16 for overnight parking, which I think is ridiculous.”

“The hotel itself was pretty nice, however, there was some sort of dance competition going on the time of my stay and there were preteens everywhere. Was awakened on several occasions throughout my stay to loud children.”

• The courtesy of the hotel staff.
• The cleanliness of the bar area on a not so busy nite.

“The staff at this hotel were the most gracious that
I have encountered of any in pittsburgh.
The shuttle driver will take you anyplace in pittsburgh and
the greeter always had a smile and was most helpful for anything we needed, including trying to buy sneakers on sunday morning. The rooms were very clean and the food was very good. It was also very convenient to some very good restaurants. We had an amazing time and thank everyone who took care of us.”

• Excellent views to the North and a great TV.
• Parking costs were high.

“I was going to a Penguins game and was a little concerned about not being within walking distance of the arena, however, there was nearby trolley stop and it was a great way to get to the game. The hotel was clean, close to shops and restaurants. The room was a good size, had a great bed, excellent views of the river and a great TV.”

• The location was great. Lots of entertainment nearby.
• Rooms must be thin. Heard people near us fighting at 6 am screaming at each other.

“The hotel was great except for the fight in the next room. Housekeeping was very efficient. Guest services even called to check to make sure we got the extra towels we requested.”

• The view from our room was terrific.
• Parking is horrific. One garage has a monopoly and has no in & out privileges so they ding you every time you take your car out.

“We stayed there on a Steeler game weekend. We are not football fans. The football crowds were dominant and not pleasant. If you like football crowds and shopping malls, this is good for you. If you want to be able to take your car out for a meal or some exploration of the city without being hit up for expensive parking charges each time, this hotel is not so good.”

• Friendly helpful staff. They made every effort to accmodate us.

“This hotel Sk is excellent for a weekend getaway. Its location is convenient for sightseeing or there are things to-do right there at Station Square. You can hang out and watch the train traffic and boat traffic. Our room was quite comfortable with a view of the Pittsburgh sky line. The entire hotel had a relaxing atmosphere about it. Even the bar in the lobby was comfortable to sit and relax. Even the multiple TV's did not interfere with having a conversation with someone.”

• Location was wonderful, and staff was friendly.
• I had to check out at 5 p.m. & pay for the entire night even though I was only there 5 hours past the noon checkout.

“The hotel is in a perfect location for Steeler Fans, it made the entire experience more enjoyable. The hotel is older compared to other, but still in good condition. The staff was very friendly. The hotel has expensive parking which I did not knew about before, but they provided a crib free of charge.”

• Large bed, flat screen TV, breathtaking view.
• No late-night dining, crowded.

“Many reviews of this hotel stress the additional charge for parking, although we found street parking on the other side of station square, about a five minute walk. The staff was very friendly and helpful to us whenever we came in contact with them, whether it was maid service, the hotel shuttle, or the front desk. Also, the best view in a city full of awesome views. I'd happily stay here again.”

“Awesome location. I was somewhat leery. But our room was large, clean, comfortable and an awesome view of the river, Pittsburgh skyline, and Heinz field. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Just steps away from the Clipper Boat, Incline, shops, restaurants and clubs. We will indeed be back! Even though we had to pay for hotel parking; not that bad. After all you are in downtown Pittsburgh. It is to be expected. We took the Clipper over to Heinz field to take in a football game. Over the top experience!”

• We requested a single room and specifically stated that there were 3 people. We were given a room with one bed and no alternatives.

“Very poor customer service. When we got a single room for 3 people and the room had one bed, we were offered a cot and quoted a $20 charge!”

• The location was super! They offer a complimentary shuttle service to anywhere downtown. The people in Pittsburgh are very friendly and helpful.
• The wireless internet needs serious help!

“Would stay here again. Starbucks coffee in rooms. Complimentary shuttle to anywhere downtown. Plenty of places to eat and things to do. Right next to the river, bike trail, incline, subway, buses, etc. Be sure to take the Segway tour of downtown Pitts-located in the Station Square Center. Overall A+ but I have to give the wireless internet connection a C! We felt very safe in the area.”

• Paper-thin walls, restaurant never open, shuttle driver rude and refused service.

“We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. We had to hear the conversations in the adjacent room the entire room. These walls are paper-thin. The restaurant was never open while we were there. Fortunately, there are several good restaurants nearby. The location of the hotel is convenient to downtown. The free shuttle is convenient. However, one driver refused to let us on (we were headed to a class in the morning), telling us he had to wait for "regulars" who were late for the shuttle.”

• Great location, lovely lobby and lounge area.
• Needs renovating, cleaning staff is inefficient.

“Located in Station Square it's a perfect location for access to Pitts sporting events. Plenty to choose from as far as restaurants and bars all within Station Square. This is a very safe and clean area also. The lobby and lounge areas are very nice, and some rooms have a great view of the river (my view was of the parking garage).”

• The hotel was clean with a spectacular view of downtown Pittsburgh.
• Check in time is supposed to be 3 pm. At 4 pm we were sitting in the lobby along with several others waiting for our rooms.

“Check in is supposed to be at 3 pm and after anxiously waiting in the lobby for an hour or so for our room, things settled down and the rest of our stay was wonderful. The hotel is clean and convenient to most area attractions. The rooms are large, clean, and have a spectacular view of downtown Pittsburgh.”

• Had a whirlpool, sauna, and fitness room along with indoor pool.
• No keys on the lockers in the pool area.

“It was very enjoyable. The room was a little small. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable to questions I asked. Warm shuttle drivers that let you know what spots to see. I'd stay again at this hotel.”

• Bar staff was inattentive, even with no other customers to wait on.

“We really liked this hotel, especially for the price. The location was great and the hotel had everything we needed. Since it appeared to be a little older, it wasn't so huge that every errand involved walking a 1/2 mile. Elevators were right down the hall from the parking lot and lobby. The surrounding neighborhood was full of shopping and dining. We particularly liked the concierge/bellman staff. They were extremely helpful and forthcoming with recommendations and tips. It will be on our short list next time we are in Pittsburgh.”

• Great location, walking distance to just about everything.
• A bit crowded, but it was memorial day weekend.

“If you are going to be staying in Downtown, Pittsburgh area, this is the hotel to be at. It is at the center of Station Square, with just about everything a walking distance away, the incline, the gateway clipper fleet, riverside, clubs, and restaurants. They offer free shuttle service to just about anywhere in the surrounding triangle area and is a very lively place.”

• They were redoing the coffee shop - menu was limited.

• Comfortable bed. Close to shopping.
• Staff was efficient but not friendly. No smiling allowed seemed to be motto.

“Hotel was clean and comfortable. Location was good for shopping, but getting in and out of town was very difficult. Hotel staff gave us directions into town, but neglected to inform us that we would not be able to return the same way because of one-way streets and bus only lanes.”

• It was clean, beds where good.
• The security staff was up our within 5 mines of getting into the room.

“The hotel was great. We got the room for a bachelor party that happened in the Southside of Pittsburgh. Afterwards we came back, which caused the only issue we had that night. As soon as we where in the room, the security guard knocked on our door and told us to keep quiet, we literally just closed the door when he knocked on it. I guess he didn't realize that door was open. This is a hotel next to the largest bar area in the city. On a Saturday night it is known as a drunk tank. Only caution I have is that they have weddings there, so you might get yelled at for making noise.”

“This hotel is very clean and very nice. The staff was friendly and professional. The room overlooked the river and you could see Heinz Field from the room. My major problem with this hotel are the parking facilities. The guest parking lot is shared with the public who are parking for sporting events. This cramps spaces for those staying in the hotel. Worse off, the hotel did not offer to validate the parking for my self, the hotel patron. So I had to pay an extra 16 dollars a day just to park in the parking lot of the hotel I was staying in.”
