• The Sheraton Station Square was beautiful! I especially loved the beds and linens. Very elegant!
• Nothing!

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone! My husband and I had a wonderful time! The rooms are huge. The hotel restaurant "Pittsburgh rare" was amazing. We had the best filet in our entire lives. Anyone would enjoy their stay at the Sheraton station square.”

• The exact location we wanted and the hotel exceeded our expectations.
• Parking is $16/day.

“We were very satisfied with this hotel. We wanted to be near station square and this hotel is actually in station square. It is close to everything. The check in agent was very accommodating despite the low price paid for two rooms. The rooms were as nice as they come. Would definitely stay here again.”

“The hotel was wonderful and definitely exceeded my expectations. Considering that is was a very busy weekend and the hotel was sold out, the staff was extremely patient and very accommodating. They fulfilled every single one our requests with a smile.”

“The Sheraton is a good hotel at a good location. It has boat access to Heinz Field for football games, it's an easy drive to get into downtown, and its at the bottom of the incline. It doesn't have good parking. You have to pay extra to park, which if you use their lot is ~$16 a day.”

“This hotel is great whether you are familiar with Pittsburgh or visiting for the first time. It is in a great location around several restaurants and bars and is a quick ride to the south side and downtown. Great views of the city from the hotel room. Comfortable beds, free internet access.”

• Location, amenities and general condition were extremely good.
• Parking rates (all hourly) were gouging if you used your car at all during the evening. In essence, you had to pay twice the daily maximum.

• Wonderful location, perfect for stealers game.
• Free breakfast would have been nice.

“We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Highly recommended. We will definitely go back. The room was very nice, with a comfortable bed. The location was superb for downtown Pittsburgh. There is so much to do in station square, and it was perfect for the Pittsburgh stealers game we attended.”

• Convenient to the stadium, early check in.
• I liked everything but the drinks at the bar.

“Fantastic for sports fans as the ferry is right outside and it will take you to Heinz field. They even allowed early check in on Sunday before the game. It was a fantastic experience. Highly recommend this Sheraton!”

• The location couldn't be beat.
• Parking costs are outrageous.

“I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel with the exception of the parking fees. I shouldn't have to pay (and it's not cheap) every time I leave the hotel. If you need to charge for parking, make it a daily rate and allow guests to come and go as they please. For this reason, I may not stay at the hotel again.”

• Good location. Good service. Free shuttle service was fantastic.
• Rooms were average. Stains on the carpet that looked like blood.

“Staff was service oriented and very friendly. The free shuttle service was fantastic! They took us wherever we wanted to go and when we needed to be picked up to return to the hotel they arrived within minutes of calling them. The room was nice but somewhat average. There were stains on the carpet looked like blood. The shuttle service and the staff were the best part.”

• Bad parking situation  costly.

“Located in a hotspot area among restaurants - it's a short walk into the downtown business area. However, its better not to have a car as the hotel itself has no parking so using the garage nearby costs $16 overnight & there is no in & out privilege. Each exit/entry starts a new parking cycle. Much too costly for Pittsburgh. The room itself was nice w/ newer furnishings, an HD-TV & high speed internet access. The elevators could use an upgrade. A generally decent hotel values less the parking.”

• A free shuttle van all day and evening to just about anywhere with pick up and return available.
• Nothing really except possibly the nearby railroad tracks and an occasional freight train passing by.

“Clean, comfortable with a very friendly and helpful staff and while it is across the river from downtown Pittsburgh. Some rooms (ours) have a nice view of the river and they have a free shuttle they will take you and pick you up almost anywhere within reason.”

• Coffee in the room was terrible.

“I enjoyed the location of the hotel, very pretty location and a friendly staff. The bell hop staff (with the exception of one very helpful black gentleman) was not very forthcoming about the discount parking lot. They were content to let us park for $16 a night. If not for the helpful gentleman telling us that we can park for $6 for as long as we want, we would have overpaid. The rest of the staff, especially the maids were very friendly and helpful.”

• They easily accommodated an extra person in our room with a rollaway!
• Really nothing.

“I booked the hotel for two of us and found out we needed another bed in the room for my teenager. They immediately gave us a roll away! Then we needed a refrigerator - again no problem. The bar tenders bent the rules and served us late at night. The view of the city was gorgeous from our window. We had a flat screened TV that was better than anything we'd ever seen. It was more than we had ever even hoped for!”

• Location is good, near a footbridge to downtown.

“Room was small and cramped and for us rather depressing for the rating of the hotel. The views from all rooms, either up or down the river with the downtown off at an angle were quite good. Hotel is in a lively touristy area.”

• No valet. Self parking is expensive.

• The shower curtain would not stay closed.

“The room was bigger than expected. The view was decent. Station square is a good location. It may seem out of the way, but it is actually just a short walk across the bridge (bundle up) to downtown. If you're not up for walking, there's a subway stop nearby.”

• A little bit grungy in the bathroom, dirty vents, shower curtain stained, mold in shower grout, chipped tub, hair stuck to ceiling - needs a cleaning.

“The Station Square Sheraton is a great location with a wonderful view of downtown Pittsburgh. It¿s a high traffic hotel, and shows its heavy use. For example, the elevator had one loose panel that was probably due to overly enthusiastic guests. Room was nice and the bathroom was well maintained. I will stay there again.”

• The food in the restaurant was very good with congenial and efficient service.
• The desk clerk implied that it was my fault (somehow, as absurd as that sounds) that the room key did not work. Her tone was off putting.

• The location to everything in the city.
• The lady in room service who swore at me after she realized she didn't fix my breakfast.

“We had a great stay for the Steelers game this past weekend. Location is great-you don't need to rent a car- there is plenty to do nearby. The hotel staff was great with the exception of not getting our breakfast order on the day of checkout. I called room service, just to make sure I wouldn't be charged (we couldn't wait and were leaving). I was cursed at by the lady as she complained that "I'm the only one here". No excuse for this type of service.”

• Very comfortable beds and rooms, very beautiful.
• We were woken up at 3:30am by very noisy people in the room next door.

“We really enjoyed the location, nearby interesting shops and restaurants within walking distance, nice view of the river. The only problem was that we could hear our neighbors through the wall/door very easily at 3am.”

• Great location for tourists.
• Outrageous $50 for parking.

“The hotel overall was a disappointment. The only outstanding thing about it is the location. Months ago, I stayed at a Best Western (2 star) and there was free parking and free breakfast. This 3 star hotel made me pay $50 for parking and offer no free breakfast. It was clean but small. Did like the internet connectivity.”

“The Pittsburgh Sheraton is a wonderful hotel. The views of Pittsburgh are wonderful, the rooms are nicely decorated, spacious and clean. The pool and fitness area is the best I have seen in any hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• The room was nice and the bedding was great with nice big down pillows and the blanket covered in sheets. I love that.
• I have stayed there before. I like it and had no problems.

• $16 parking. Far from ballpark.

“Booked last minute to see a Pirates game. The $16 parking and $8 return boat ride to the park added to the cost -- may have been better to bid higher on a 4-star for either the Omni or Renaissance closer to the stadium.Hotel close to a slew of bars, and is right next to the boat dock for the cruises. Would be fun on weekends when its busier. Hotel itself is excellent -- great beds, professional service.”

• i really liked the location,it was right on the river and we were able to take a short boat ride to to pnc park
• the parking ramp for the hotel,i was charged an extra 16 dollars to stay there

• Great beds, great linens, clean and comfortable, convenient location unless you are going to sporting events.
• Check in was 3 PM we could not check in until 4PM

• The location was great and the bed was comfortable. The room was nicely decorated.
• The hotel was unable to accomodate our request for a room with a king bed or a view of the city/river.

“The iron in our room malfunctioned and burned a hole in my brand new dress. We called the front desk about the problem and they were nice enough to reimburse me for the dress. The hotel parking lot is small and expensive. It is cheaper and just as easy to park at the general station square lot. ”
