• I was surprised how nice it is given that it's a Sheraton.
• The flat screen in the room was a bit fuzzy.

“This hotel was great. Right off the highway and directly across the street from a mall. The entire hotel was clean. The staff was great and the rooms and very comfortable and clean!”

• The bedding was comfortable, and area was quiet.
• My room was not cleaned, even though I requested it as I left around 11 am. Also the room phone did not work.

• The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, nice pillows, bathroom was clean, hallways were nice, bright, and clean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
• Group function at the hotel taking up most of the hallway on main level. Didn't move out of the way for other guest. Better set up would have been nice.

“This hotel was a way better. The rooms were nice, bright and clean, the bathroom was clean, one problem was that the toilet handle stuck, so you had to hold it down while flushing but no biggie, for the price it's not worth complaining. Bed was comfy, pillow abundant, staff was nice. Location is good and appeared safe to me. Once up in my room it wasn't noisy at all, AC worked great, TV worked well. Lobby was busy but they had a reunion or something going on. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay there again.”

• Managers at reception.
• 1st room was not made up by staff. 2nd room was dirty.

“Internet was slow. First assigned room was not cleaned from prior guest. 2nd room was dirty, light bulbs was missing, grout coming away from bath tub and fixtures.”

• Spacious lobby and pool area.
• Funny smell that filled the building.

“Hotel was a bit dated. Beds were comfortable and TV great. Bathroom was too small. Hotel would be great for a family reunion or business meeting if there wasn't that funny smell.”

• Convenient to Convention center and great lounge chairs at the pool.
• Bathrooms were a little small.

• The beds were comfortable and the LCD TV was great.
• Had a family reunion going on, place was a mess.

“Took three trips to the lobby to get into the room. First time gave me an already occupied room. Second time key did not work. There was trash overflowing on a Saturday night about 7:00 pm. No need for this.”

• It was quiet, well-maintained, and clean.
• We had thrown the comforter over the bed after we got up. When we came back the maid had cleaned the room but not made the bed.

• Close to the airport, full-service hotel, airport shuttle.
• There was an unpleasant smell in the public areas.

“The staff was friendly and rooms were nice, but the public areas showed some wear and tear and there was an unpleasant smell in the elevator/hallways during my stay. The near airport location is great for business travelers, as they have a hotel shuttle. The bar was pleasant and fun.”

• The front desk staff, waiters and bar staff were wonderful.
• The hotel is not up to the standards of other Sheraton's.

“There was mold and mildew on the shower curtain and bathroom tile. There was about an inch of dirt on the bathroom vent. The sheets were stained. The outdoor ashtrays and trash cans were overflowing with trash. There was vomit on the sidewalk for 2 days. I shouldn't have to stay in filth because I'm trying to find a better deal. It's not worth it. I'm supporting a family on a military paycheck and need to save where I can. I'd rather pay a little more and stay healthy though. I've never stayed in a Sheraton that was this unsanitary. They are usually some of the classier hotels. However if hotels are going to treat clients poorly because they use a discount search engine.”

• Room has a nice feel to it. Chain and bed was nice. LCD TV was nice and unexpected.
• The inernet was wireless only and not too quick.

“I think that hotel is nice although a little dated compared to many other new ones in the area. Besides the internet (weak wireless only) everything else was great! I should have not been doing work on vacation anyway! Overall a good experience.”

• Room was great, staff friendly.
• Had bad experience at lunch in restaurant.

“Had a lunch meal and ordered a chicken pecan salad. I took two bites and both were bad. The kitchen was very sorry but didn't offer a free replacement meal. We did order something else and had to pay full price. The young waitress was very slow. I guess I should have complained to the management.”

• The staff was very accommodating and friendly,went out of their way!
• The room wasn't quite a clean as I like the flat sheets were not very comfortable, fitted would have been nicer.

“The shuttle driver, other staff members were so nice and went the extra mile to make sure we felt welcome. I just wish the bath room had been a little cleaner and that the bed had had fitted sheets. The flat sheets came untouched during the night and was very uncomfortable.”

• The hotel was extremely clean and well run with a very friendly atmosphere.
• Would have preferred being farther from the airport. The traffic was extremely bad.

• The friendly staff and top service.
• The window view on the 2nd floor facing the rear is a roof.

“Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience. We stayed for 4 nights. The gift shop and front desk staff was very friendly. The maintenance staff was on top of things when we had a minor set back. The problem was taken care as soon as it was reported.”

• There was a hotel reception for all with a pianist, snacks, and a great selection of drinks.

“We arrived at the hotel in transit from our vacation home in Orlando to Pennsylvania. We were very pleased with the accommodations and amenities the hotel had to offer. We ended up staying for the reception and were upgraded to Club level and the reception continued there for an additional hour. We also dined in the restaurant. The hotel was very clean, the staff
was very friendly and accommodating, and our room was very well appointed. The king bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning system had an individual control for the room. I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again.”

• The pool and gym.
• Mold in the bathroom. Bathroom ceiling had bad patch job. No ventilation.

“The hotel basically did not have a ventilation system. There was a little vent in the bathroom that did nothing to removed the foul air or steam the shower generated.”

• Friendly desk staff.
• The pool area was unsupervised. A child fell and was injured (I guess a parent should have been there).

“This was a nice older hotel in a great location--near the interstate, near shopping and other local attractions. Most staff persons were very friendly and went out of their way to serve. The only problem that my family and I experienced was with room service.”

• Lovely building.
• Air conditioner in room had to be turned down to about 64 to be comfortable.

“Area of town is the biggest downside to this hotel. The facility was nice, but I was a little uncomfortable with some of the clientele. Not much you can do about that.”

• Location, proximity to coliseum.
• Very beat up, scuffed paint, damaged walls, etc.

“It was hard to argue with the location - near the coliseum and airport, and right off the main highway. The walls and floors were abused, the bathroom looked old, and the furniture was damaged. There was also no phone near the bed.”

• Pool and public areas were fabulous.
• Rooms were a little worn, needs refurbishing.

“This hotel had great public areas and staff was great. The rooms are in need of refurbishing, as they are showing quite a bit of wear and tear. Neighborhood is not the greatest, wouldn't walk around at night. Outlet mall is only a mile away.”

“I work at a 4 star 4 diamond hotel in the city. The room was a standard room, but the service was great. The newly renovated pool area was great, I was a little upset that they didn't' have a hot tub. One last suggestion, an outside bar for light beverages. Great stay overall.”

• Convenient location. Could be a nice hotel with upgrades.
• Obviously an older property. Very dirty. Hair all over bathroom floor.

“This was an older hotel that looks new on the outside and old on the inside of the rooms. I was surprised at how dirty the bathroom was. The room itself smelled like mold and there was a lot of hair on the bathroom floor. We asked the staff to clean it, but they did a poor job. We could not even tell they cleaned it and eventually bought cleaner and did it ourselves.”

“We did not have a good stay at this hotel. The room was clean, but the bed was hard and extremely uncomfortable. Not that it mattered much since there were people talking loudly in the hall all night. The staff was friendly, but I couldn't wait to leave.”

• A few problems, but staff was absolutely excellent in taking care of them.
• With one problem, we notified the desk and nothing was done until the next day when we notified them again.

“Very pleasant staff. Hotel appears a bit shabby in places, and has a slightly noticeable smell throughout the entire hotel (not really unpleasant, but it caused my wife to start sneezing as soon as we walked in). I expect people who work there wouldn't notice it.”

• Air conditioner did not and the staff, with the exception of manger, did not act like they cared.
