• The morning food waiting for me in the hospitality room.
• There were ants in room 270, the room stunk.

• Easy access from the Interstate.
• Continental breakfast wasn't too impressive.

“Great location for the traveler. Easy access to Interstate, the best Italian restaurant in NY, gas station nearby. Clean rooms, friendly staff and very affordable.”

• Convenient location.
• Not very secure building.

“The staff was terse, the sheets were dirty, and I needed to change them myself. There are no locks on the exterior doors as security. Anyone could follow a person to their room, or anyone not registered can have access to the inside of the building.”

• The staff was kind enough to change our room to better accommodate our sleeping arrangements even though they didn't technically have to.
• If I were to pay full price for the room, Id have been disappointed with the "breakfast". It was ok though. Clean too.

“This hotel seemed to have been recently renovated as it was very clean, with comfortable beds and spotless carpets. The room had no odors and accommodated the needs of two weary shoppers very well. There was a mini fridge and also a coffee maker in the room. The staff was so friendly and also very helpful with directions. I would definitely stay there again, however I wouldn't bring the family there for "vacation" time as it doesn't have a pool. I can't comment on the exercise room as I didn't use it.”

• Stench, breakfast guard hovers over the guests and observes intently.

“Check-in staff was pretty course. The lobby smelled very musty. There are two buildings and we were in the second. That building smelled worse. The non smoking room reeked of smoke. The rate was low, I thought but considering the amenities I don't consider this a good value. The worst part was the complimentary breakfast. An (albeit unarmed) guard stands at the door and studies the guests. No food is allowed out of the room (all it is another guest room with a toaster). She watches you eat every bite. If you take a donut, she slinks to a locked refrigerator and replaces the donut you just removed from the donut case. Very creepy. If you have kids, don't let them out of your site.”

• Somewhat close location to the university hill area.
• Customer service, management, smell.

“The front desk staff was extremely rude at check-in and later when we went back for an extra towel they gave us a very hard time. The hallways and room smelled like cat litter, and once in the room both lights and the phone were not plugged in. We were accidentally overcharged for our stay there, and all phone calls have been dodged or answered rudely by the owner.”

• It was right off of the highway and provided a discount for nearby restaurants.
• The exercise room was too small and there were no soda machines.

“It isn't a bad hotel if you bring your own refreshments.”

• Discount at the Denny¿s across the street.
• Needs to be updated.

“The hotel phone was not working and I could not get in touch with them to assure late check in and to refine the directions. The room was very cold.”

• Well worn rooms.

“A disappointment, you get what you pay for. This was the least expensive hotel I could find in Syracuse. The room included burned out light bulbs, a non-working clock radio, inconsistent house keeping (no coffee or bathroom floor towel provided on my second night), poor sound proofing between rooms. On the up side, the check in clerk was very nice.”

• Convenient to my final destination.
• Hall was full of cigarette smoke that drifted into our non-smokers room.

“I'd like to see more air circulation in the halls to eliminate the smoke; and/or have doors midway down the halls to divide the smoking rooms from the non-smoking rooms.”

• Had handicapped bathroom which was well equipped.
• Charge extra $25.00 for handicapped bathroom.

“Very convenient location for close to Thruway. Excellent, reasonable Italian restaurant next door and good free breakfast buffet.”

• Located within 1/2 mile of location I needed to go. Easy on and easy off highway.
• Stairs to our room. We are senior citizens and not able to climb stairs to good.

“The room was spacious, clean and always had clean towels and plenty of shower supplies. There was a good supply of coffee in the room, except cups. Free breakfast had many choices and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Most important, the bed was comfortable.”
