“The only thing I didn't like about this hotel is the room. The hotel is located in a upscale area, the room I stayed at doesn't look like upscale.” Aug 16, 2008 by
Tammy from Mississauga, ON CA
“For the price the hotel was great. I loved the fact that we were right on the beach. The food was great and the staff friendly. The hotel however does show it's age in many places i.e.: the room doors, no tub, no mini refrigerator, no extra lock on door, etc. I did however feel safe and really enjoyed the beach.” May 27, 2008 by
Thomas from Farmington Hills, MI
“Ok for one night, nothing special, for a one star hotel recommendable. Nice are the pool area with the restaurant and the beach access. The rooms are very poor and noisy.” May 25, 2008 by
Richard from New Lenox, IL
“This place is very worn and dated. Hard to find parking at times. Nice restaurant.” May 18, 2008 by
Robert from Ellettsville, IN
“If you want to see the ocean from the deck, you have to buy something from the restaurant. You can't bring your own drink outside, this includes water or pop, to the beach decks. The noise from the bar is so loud that it is hard to hear the TV in the rooms until about 11 p.m., sleep is impossible until then. Tell the office and they tell you the bar makes the money and the hotel is secondary. Would not return!” May 12, 2008 by
Debra from Estero, FL
“Excellent hotel on the ocean. No frill, clean and friendly staff.” May 6, 2008 by
William H. from Shelbyville, KY
“I arrived at 11:55 p.m. To find the lobby dark and locked and no contact information posted on the door. After 15 minutes on hold I pounded on the lobby door out of frustration and a minute later a lobby clerk (who spoke minimal English) turned on the light, unlocked the door and checked me in. The room smelled damp and appears grimy in the corners. I was concerned for my 10 month old baby who was traveling with us. The pool area and restaurant appeared to be much better quality; however we were in no mood to test it out and spent our time elsewhere. This room was good for a place to sleep and nothing else.” Apr 21, 2008 by
Shelley from Belleville, IL
“Awful, this hotel has so much damage that has not been repaired from hurricanes that it could be classified as a ghetto hotel. Our room sprung a leak from the window and the staff did not come to check it out until 24 hours later, they offered a single room for 3 people but did not offer the difference between the rooms. I was very unhappy with this hotel. The locals come to the bar and they were no parking spaces, the front office staff is rude, there is maybe 5 feet of sand between the hotel and the water. The tide is up most of the time and you cant go on the beach because the water is all the way up to the hotel. There is mold in the rooms and the floors are slick. I am actually considering hiring a lawyer to get compensated for this most awful hotel room. I paid way to much money to get what I got.” Apr 15, 2008 by
Amit from Brooklyn, NY
“The reservation was for 1 king bed and when I got there (after calling the hotel as the place was nesting between two other buildings); they gave me a room with 2 double beds. The coffee maker didn't work and the room had bad odor but since we were told that the hotel is full there was no point in asking to change the room.” Apr 10, 2008 by
Tonya from Prsopect, KY
“The smell in the room was very strongly moldy, musty and the AC was dripping and had mold in it. The room was also dirty and the beds were very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel unless you are looking only for location. Please be advised, however, that it is on the water but there is no beach. The water laps at the bottom level of the hotel. The pool was very inadequate small and no place to sit.” Mar 26, 2008 by
Jan from Export, PA
“The rooms are clean but need more storage for clothing. There is a language barrier with cleaning staff which can be challenging. This being said the location is great. The hotel is beach front and the beach is beautiful. You are surrounded by condos and hotels that cost three times as much. If you are there for the ocean rather than the room it can't be beat.” Mar 17, 2008 by
Jon from Paducah, KY
“A claim for false advertisement should seriously be pursued against this hotel. The "beach" is non-existent for most of the day, due to the ocean being up against the sea wall of the hotel. When there is enough beach to walk on, it is covered with huge pieces of concrete that have sharp pieces of rebar hanging out of them. There was not a bathtub in the room, so we were not able to bath our infant. The desk clerk told us to beware because she did not trust the staff. The hotel itself seemed to be deteriorating and falling apart. Our door resembled that of a prison door. This experience has definitely made me more cautious about future uses of the service.” Mar 3, 2008 by
Gwen Y. from Harleysville, PA
“This is not a winter hotel. No carpet, bad furniture, hard to heat.” Dec 7, 2007 by
Craig from Bothell, WA
“Nice ocean front view from the restaurant and pool, but given the quality of the rooms I would not list this property as a 2-star accommodation. I was overcharged for what I received.” Dec 5, 2007 by
Carol from Covington, GA
“The suite we were moved do was not kept up well. The linens on the twin beds have small dark speckles on it (hoping they were not bugs). The walls needed touch up paint. The blinds were bent. A door was missing between the bedroom and the kitchen area. Grout in front of tub needed touch up.” Nov 19, 2007 by
Kayla from Tlh, FL
“This hotel should not be on your list. Beside from the stuff I have mentioned, it was not a smoke free room I requested, didn't have extra pillows or blankets. Didn't have microwave in lobby for customer use.” Nov 11, 2007 by
Melissa from Maumee, OH
“Definitely don't judge a book by its cover at this hotel. There are only 3 hotels on this strip that are right on the beach and this hotel is probably the only affordable one. While the rooms are old, but they are clean, that's all that matters to me. The best part is when you visit the restaurant and bar in the back of the hotel. It was recently renovated and looks like an island paradise. It didn't look like the same hotel you pulled in to! On top of this, the food was great! Fresh seafood and a lot to choose from. The view was awesome, perfect for a relaxing day. There is a small pool also. Kids would probably be bored, but great for a romantic getaway. We stayed for one night and were happy to put our feet up somewhere relaxing.” Nov 11, 2007 by
Ramana from Carmel, IN
“Not enough towels, Floor with tiles is sweating.” Sep 6, 2007 by
Jane from Tallahassee, FL
“The hotel is older with a lot of charm. The hotel was very clean and the beach views were beautiful.” Jul 7, 2007 by
Mary from Ft. Mccoy, FL
“Was okay for a one night stay. Would not recommend for a longer stay.” Mar 8, 2007 by
Marie from Milford, OH
“Overall we enjoyed our stay. Loved the location and the fact that you could walk to other restaurants and shopping. The inn however is older and although quaint, could use updating if fixtures, bathrooms, and bedding. Good food and nice outside bar. We would stay again.” Sep 26, 2006 by
John from Frostproof, FL
“Crappy. Excellent location. Dirty. Loud. Ants throughout. Old. Door wouldn't even properly secure. 1/2 to 1 inch gap around door, allowed mosquitoes and bugs to just fly in freely. Very old, not properly maintained. Bar in Hotel appears local drunk tank. Yelling, slamming doors, drunks till 2 am. AC barely worked, kept room "warm". 17 inch TV with no premium channels. Lastly, hotel wake-up call 45 minutes late, and alarm didn't work. Wouldn't stay there for free again. No kidding, and I am not picky. Highly recommend sleeping in car!” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.Sep 20, 2006 by

“Hotel room was nice and it was conveniently located to the Kennedy Hospital but the room was very damp and the restaurant prices were very high. The pool was nice.” Jul 17, 2006 by
Lisa from Deltona, FL
“While the location of this hotel is convenient, I would not consider it worthy of a two-star rating. The rooms are undergoing remodeling, and perhaps that will improve the quality. During our stay we had to change rooms at 11:00 at night, because the faucet handle broke off and could not be repaired during the day (but didn't notify us until we came back after dinner). The second room had a leaky toilet; we were also shorted towels twice in five days. The pool is closed in the evening because they use the deck for the restaurant. Suggest eating in any of the area restaurants/cafes, as the quality/value of the on-site restaurant doesn't measure up. The location, however, is very near to just about everything. Although the beach in front of the hotel is extremely small, it is within walking distance of other nicer beaches.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jul 16, 2006 by

“The address is wrong, it sits South of where it's address tells. Rooms are clean and A/C works well, though the rooms themselves are pretty stark. Bed was comfortable, though the sheets were not perfectly clean. Restaurant is extremely pricey, though the food is excellent - average dinner will cost $70 - $100 for a couple. Staff is friendly and courteous. An ocean view room will cost you dearly - $225/night and up!” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 27, 2006 by

“My stay was both pleasant, and a worthwhile value. I plan to use you quite often in the future and have already recommended your services to other travelers. My only regret is that I haven't used you sooner.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 12, 2006 by

“Great Hotel if you want to vacation by the sea. Hotel staff is very professional. The only drawback was that I could not get an internet connection.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.Apr 24, 2006 by

“This is an independent hotel that needs some updating. It is located in a great location on Palm Beach. The beach was great and the restaurant was good. The beds were comfortable. There is no Internet access in the hotel rooms.” Mar 30, 2006 by
Melissa from Brooklyn, NY

“Nice area. Hotel in generally good shape but it is an older place in need of some repair.” May 31, 2005 by
Jeremy A. from Royal Oak, MI “The hotel was a two star. This was the first time that I stayed at a hotel with this star raiting. The location was nice, but hotel was a bit to be desired. I guess the location was a premium as well as my bid was very high compared to what I normally pay. I would go back though. Right on ocean..” May 18, 2005 by
Graeme from Palm Bay, FL
“Situated near the beaches, it is also very close to nice small shopping areas. And if you fancy for nightlife just drive across the bridge (causeway?) to Lake Ave. where there is a range of restaurants and pubs to choose from. The room is good for either short-term or long-term guests as it has coffee makers, iron and ironboard, hair dryer and plenty of hanging space for your clothes.Only if the bathroom accessories are a bit more posh then it will complete the experience of staying in a classy hotel.” May 18, 2005 by
Michelle from Jupiter, FL
“I would definitely stay there again. Staff was friendly, food was fantastic, and it was very scenic.” Apr 19, 2005 by

“Good location, marginal quality rooms, good value, poor value on regular price, poor quality for cleanliness. Excellent resturant.” Jan 9, 2005 by
Rudy from West Orange, NJ
“The price was right for the location. Beds were clean but the hotel needs a lot of work to raise their ratings.”
