“Good location and great value in a pricey area. A good night's sleep, comfortable beds and variety of pillows to choose from. I left some articles at the hotel and called to see if housekeeping turned them in and they did, so an A for honesty too!”

- Convenient to airport, very clean and bonus complimentary breakfast.
“The room was cleaner than clean, something of great importance to us. The desk staff recommended a dining spot when we weary travelers arrived and the local spot was very good. The hotel's complimentary breakfast was an added bonus.”

- Offered compromise with pool reconstruction and closure by sending us to the four seasons.
- Need more I internet computers or put up a sign other guests hog the internet.

- Very close to beach and intercostals with good service/appearance/hospitality.
- No complaints.
“I especially liked the hotel location, and accessibility to Palm Beach, the place I was conducting business. It allowed me to walk the beach and walk along the beach one day and the inter harbor on another day. Very good location, with better than expected experience.”

- Continental breakfast was very good. Inn staff always available and professional in manner.
- Need a few more vending machines for snacks and beverages.

- Very pleasant, good location. Nice Pool.
- The first floor had a slightly musty smell.
“We had a great stay. We have a baby and a toddler but felt very comfortable and accommodated. The breakfast was great - fresh waffles and fruit plus usual pastries etc. Staff were very friendly. After reading some other reviews I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was. It has just been renovated so I think the bad reviews were written before this.”

- The staff was very friendly and helpful. I called ahead to request a mini fridge for my room and it was waiting for us when we checked in. thanks.
- Nothing.

- Incredibly unhelpful, haughty, unsympathetic and dishonest staff members.
“Upon check-in:
We were serviced by two unfriendly and unaccommodating hotel staff. Upon discovering an error on their part by not booking us for the requested 2 nights but only 1 night, they made us go out to the car to get the confirmation paper. We come back to the desk, they looked at our paper and then did some typing on their computer and finally tell us that they indeed had room for us for the 2nd night and nonchalantly ask if we would we like to book it! When I tried to give them my AAA card for the entitled discount, they handed it back to me and told me to present it upon check - out, see below.
The same staff proceeded to be unable to tell me how far or long to drive to the nearest shopping mall or give me instructions (other than "...go back across the bridge...") on how to get to a pharmacy. They also could not tell me how long the usual wait was for a cab pick-up. At first, when we asked about cab service they replied how they don't work for the cab service and wrote the cab company's phone# on a torn piece of paper --- for us to call the cab ourselves.
Upon checkout:
When my mother tried to check-out at 5:30 AM and redeem our AAA discount the staff on duty (one person) refused to honor the discount. Gave haughty remarks with smug facial expressions the entire time that my mother expressed her dissatisfaction with the whole stay and again at my husband and I when we came down from our room to address the issue. When my mother asked to speak to the manager he laughed at her and told her he doesn't come in until 7am. When we asked him to call the manager, again he smugly laughed at us. When we asked who does he turn to for any help with problems he said, "Any problems, I fix everything, Money -- you don't want to pay, I call the police. Otherwise, I can fix everything else."
He then lied to us about offering a "discount" room rate for the second night and then insulted my mother by asking her why we are complaining about 1) the initial botch up with a one night reservation vs. the two night (he replies to my mother, "What, did you not stay a second night?" to which she replied, "Yes" and he in turn said haughtily , "So, what are you complaining about?" 2) after charging us $189 for the first night and $109 for the second as a "discount", he asks her "What, you don't think and $80 discount is good enough?" When in fact, the $109 was standard rate for any night that week!
I would never want anyone, no matter who they are, to experience the incredible haughtiness, blatant smugness, lack of empathy and expected knowledge and despicable dishonesty that we experienced by this hotel staff.
