• Central location to where I needed to go.
• No on-site restaurant, had to go out for fast-food.

“Close to the airport, Palm Beach Island, and Palm Beach Gardens. An on-site restaurant/room service would have been great. I'd been up and working since 4:00 am and just wanted to relax when I got to the hotel at 6:00 pm, but then realized there was no restaurant/room service. So I couldn't settle in and relax, I had to get in my car and find something quick and convenient and brought it back to the hotel. I would have preferred to order in from room service, especially since I was so tired.”

• Swimming pool area very clean, room very nice.
• Shuttle service to airport doesn't run 12-4 (when I needed it).

“Very nice, clean, and comfortable. Staff was friendly and accessible. I only wish the airport shuttle ran all day, and even better if they had more than one bus, because I was waiting for a very long time.”

• Excellent location, friendly staff, good room service and above cleanliness.

“Staff was speedy at check in given the fact that i had driven 1250 miles fr NY. My room was impecable. Gym and pool were great. Staff was always pleasantly attentive when giving me directions definitely would stay again when visiting West Palm Beach.”

• Hotel was clean and comfortable.
• Room was noisy because it was next to elevators and you could hear them going up and down.

“Hotel was nice and clean. Our room was directly next to the elevator and rather noisy. We asked about switching rooms for our second night stay and were told that the room we had was the one they had blocked for us. I'm not sure what that meant but we had to put up with the noise on our second night too.”

“The Courtyard was perfect for our stay before an early flight out. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful both late and night and early in the morning. Definitely would recommend this hotel!”

• Relatively new and clean and near the airport.
• Elevator still under construction. Wouldn't give room with 2 Queens although available.

“A pretty nice hotel for a 2 1/2 star rating, but construction and staff unwillingness to switch us to an available room at the same exact price with 2 queen beds instead of a single king showed an inflexibility that interferes with the goal of satisfying clients or customers.”

• The rooms were gorgeous with flat screen televisions, superb decorating and even chocolates on the pillows.
• There was only one waiter for breakfast and the exercise machinery was sorely in need of maintenance.

“From omelets stations to elliptical machines Marriot is superb. The overall experience was just as I expected it, but for those who enjoy the opportunity to exercise at a hotel this was sub par at best. The fitness room is one area of the hotel that is a window into the care that is taken for routine upkeep and service. I stayed in Courtyards at least a half a dozen times throughout the course of our month long journey and this one needs slight improvement. Good luck.”

• Again, couldn't find activities or much to sightsee.

• The first room smelled, and they gave us a new room very quickly.
• Both rooms we were in smelled strongly, the first of mildew, the second of stale air conditioning.

“I called guest services to arrange a cab at a certain time and when I went to the lobby to get the cab it was not there. The attendant had no knowledge of the request and had to call for another cab.”

• In attentive staff (never at the front desk) dirty towels at pool.

“I have stayed at this hotel many times In the past it always exceeded my expectations. Not this time. The bed was lumpy, the pillows were like economy pillows from Wal-Mart, when the pool area was out if towels the person who I had to yell for while I stood at the front desk brought me one towel. The pool had many people and not enough chairs and the front desk people were always in the back room. Even when they knew they were out of towels, no one came to refill the rack. The next morning when I went to the pool there were still no towels. I was very disappointed.”

• High speed internet connection in room.
• One room smelled like old cigarette smoke they tried to cover up with Lysol.

“Convenient to the airport, City Place and the convention centers. King size beds were comfortable. Pillows were very nice and full. Bath towels could use an upgrade - kind of thin and on the small size. Great water pressure in the shower. Overall decent place to stay, would consider it for future trips to West Palm Beach.”

• The parking lot was clean.
• We had the worst room in the hotel. We were next to the noisy ice machine and vending machine. All night long we heard the roar of the machines.

“Only one person works the desk; the computer did not work; there was not any soap nor washcloths in our room, when we called the desk they said they didn't have anyone to bring them up. No newspapers; no towels for the gym or pool.”

• It was very convenient to the airport, complimentary shuttle and internet access.
• Area around pool was littered with garbage, poor service when checking in.

“This hotel was great to stay one night since I was looking for a hotel close to the airport. The gentleman that checked us in was not very friendly or helpful with our questions. It did have a pool and hot tub but the surrounding area was littered with garbage. They also had a very nice work out facility. The hotel also recommended a take out Chinese restaurant that had the worst food I have ever experienced and it took over an hour and a half to get! The rooms were nice, clean and welcoming and had free internet access. Not a lot of extras but it got the job done.”

• The whole facility was clean and well decorated.
• The staff did not pick us up at the airport as expected.

“The hotel was beautiful and clean. Free internet was a plus. They did pay for our cab ride when they failed to pick us up at the airport. The breakfast buffet was rather pricey for the food quality.”

• The hotel staff went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating.
• My cell demagnetized the room key leaving me stuck between the pool and the entrance back into the hotel.

“The rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool, exercise room and Jacuzzi are of good quality. The staff goes way out of their way to be helpful. There are cookies and apples at the front desk for your enjoyment. My only criticism would be that the room key becomes de-programmed if placed next to your cell. This became a problem upon returning from the pool. But most important is the staff is A +.”

“The staff was great. Donna the receptionist was a great help to me. It was like have your own person guide. Thanks Donna the spa you recommended was right on point. Breakfast was a great addition not having to leave the hotel worked well for me. I'd planned a weekend of pampering and relaxation; that's exactly what I got. The hotel staff saw to that. The atmosphere is great. I will definitely return, although I will make sure to arrange transportation next time. Although not that far from downtown, you will need transportation cab fare was expensive. It about 20. or more to get around.”

• Room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed.
• Hotel was a little hard to get to from the main highway.

“This hotel can be seen from I-95, but you have to get off at the NEXT exit and follow directions to get there. Other than that, the hotel is great. It is new-looking, very clean, and attractive (flowers outside and in, nice furnishings, etc.). There is a restaurant and a small store (selling snacks and supplies) inside the hotel, and the hotel is near many other places to eat. We didn't have time to try the pool, workout room, hot tub, or other amenities, but they looked nice. The staff people were friendly, and most appeared to speak both English and Spanish. Make a reservation, and don't forget your directions!”

• Newly renovated, friendly desk staff
• The air conditioning unit made the room smell damp.

“ Nice, clean, newly renovated room. Beautiful artwork on walls! Breakfast buffet was $8.95 plus tax - food was average, variety of food was fair. Internal ground floor rooms open into courtyard with gated pool. The air conditioning in our room smelled damp but we were able to open the patio door (on 4th floor) and air it out since the weather was beautiful!”

• I liked the pool setup outside the room.
• Breakfast choices very limited and too expensive for what was offered.

“The hotel was clean, nicely landscaped and convenient to the freeway. How the general area was, the hotel was considered an unsafe area. The hotel safety was great. I noticed police parked across the street watching the general area. The parking lot was chained off on one side to make all traffic pass in front of the lobby of the hotel. The rooms were large, clean and nicely decorated. The maintenance staff was visible and busy. Overall, very pleased with the recent stay.”

“The hotel was under construction on the same floor I was residing. There were toilets in the hallway and air ducts hanging loose from the ceiling. Pipes in walls were exposed. The elevator rattled, smelled like urine and was held together on the inside with tape. I have never been so disappointed.”
