• Excellent location and ocean views.
• Bathroom offers no privacy from rest of room.

“Oceanfront is main attraction. They charge premium for these rooms. Daily car parking (must use valet service) is very pricey. Restaurant is excellent but also expensive. Rooms are narrow to allow many with ocean view, but no separation to bathroom.”

• Convenience to everything we needed.
• Spa prices could be adjusted or discounted for off season.

“I am a first time user of Priceline and now 4 of my friends/family are going to use it. The hotel upgraded us to a room that was exactly what we wanted. If the had not I can't say the stay would have had the same impact. Kudos to Westin. Priceline and Westin will be my choice from now on.”

“The Westin Beach Resort meet and far exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is recently remodeled and very nice. However what made this one of my best hotel experiences was the staff. Every single individual at that hotel went above and beyond every time and all the time! I cant wait to come back!”

• The room was big and clean, the staff was very friendly, and the pool was HEATED!
• The noise/ construction.

• Great location and nice rooms.
• Half of the hotel is under renovation, high parking and valet fees.

“Hotel was great. Rooms are very nice with flat screen HDTV's and tiled bathrooms. A walkway to the beach and the infinity pool were nice. The only negatives were that half the hotel is being renovated and that parking is valet at 25.00 per day, and there are so many people to tip that it got annoying. Overall, great hotel.”

• The view was excellent, and the room was spacious and clean.
• I refused to purchase anything from the hotel lobby store, too expensive! $3.50 for 24 oz. water.

“The hotel was lovely and senior friendly. The view from the corner room was great. I requested a change of room from my first night, because the view was not full enough. But, for the rest of time, it was a dream, fantasy come true. The waters from the hotel view were tranquil enough to make one feel at peace with the world. The corner room was fabulous.”

• It is older and needs some renovations.

“This hotel is located in a prime location however it is older and could use some renovations. The housekeeping staff are awesome but the front desk could be friendlier. Parking is easy and affordable in the attached garage.”

• The hotel is timeless, exceeding our expectations. Great location, friendly and helpful staff.
• I can't say one negative thing. It would be nice to have balconies, but out of control people have caused us all to pay.

“I was hoping for the Doubletree Suites, but quickly became grateful our family of three got the Trader. I cannot understand why I see negative reviews about this place. I did not have one unpleasant experience. We were given a complimentary upgrade due to me becoming disabled since the room was booked, and our room was clean and tasteful decorated. With the overall excellent upkeep of the property, I can't imagine that there are rooms warranting complaints. The 24 hour store was convenient, beds extremely comfortable, pool and beach very enjoyable and maid service great. We almost regretted having to leave for our cruise; we were enjoying ourselves so much. I would stay here again without a doubt. My husband and I stayed at the Harbor Beach Marriott in January with his company and I can honestly say I prefer the Trader. First, the attitude and helpfulness of the Trader's staff far surpasses that at the HB Marriott. At the Marriott, if you are not a Gold Rewards Member, the staff treats you like a second class citizen. The Trader was the opposite of that.”

• Predominant cruise crowd on Sunday departure, they were pretty much clueless, not allowing employees to do their job (even though I was one of them).

“It was a little worn but clean. The front desk personnel were very accommodating and friendly. Within walking distance of restaurants, water taxi and across the street from the beach.”

• The location was right in the middle of the strip on the beach. The hotel room was large and roomy. The facilities were very nice.
• Staff was a little bit difficult to understand, and out shuttle was late taking us to the airport when we checked out.

• Rooms worn. Power went out several times due to heavy use of blow dryers next door!

“Loved the quite pool at the back. Cushioned chairs were great. Pool very clean. Good towels. The rooms seem worn. Do not think the rooms meet what I want in a 3 star hotel. Our power went out several times due to heavy use of blow dryers next door (spring break girls!) Had a room on the 14th floor overlooking the intercoastal waterway. This view was so beautiful. Had a room with ocean view here last year and loved the intercoastal view much more!”

“We decided to book this hotel because of its close proximity to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The concierge service was outstanding; they helped us with so much. Their hotel restaurant was great for breakfast daily. They have lovely bedding for which you can sleep the night away. Some people have complained about how far the south tower is, but truly it is just across the street via a walkway that is covered. Only people with walking problems could encounter a problem. Hotel arranged for a driver/van to transport the four of us to the ship.”

“Now a days, it is so important to offer free wireless internet. Even the cheapest hotels offer that. Good comfortable beds are important for good rest. Both were lacking in this hotel. Hotels with very expensive restaurants drive us out onto the street looking for alternate dining.”

“This hotel was wonderfully located directly across from the beach, with a pedestrian overpass that connected the beach and outdoor pool. My only negative was that it seemed that everything had an extra cost no wifi available, a daily charge for internet in the room, a charge for internet in the lobby, daily parking charge, etc. This took away somewhat from the overall experience.”
