• My wife and I found this hotel to be excellent for the money.
• Valet parking is really the only option.

“Great hotel at a great price. We had to pay $17 for valet parking, but it is in a great location near the beach and all that Fort Lauderdale has to offer. It is very clean and modern.”

• The large bathroom, the sitting area with TV and the bed was very comfortable.
• The door to the bedroom seemed a bit commercial and the bellboy wasn't very pleasant.

• Beautiful, luxurious, incredible, best part of our trip, better than the cruise!
• Only one elevator working.

“I just needed a place to stay overnight to get from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami where our cruise departed the next day. I was surprised that the night at this hotel was the best part of the trip. I wanted to live there!”

• I liked the value for what I paid and the all-suite rooms.
• Only one elevator was in service, hotel ATM shorted me $100.

“I found the hotel to be a good value for the price I paid, especially because all rooms are suites with plenty of space. Also the rooms have kitchen facilities, refrigerators, microwaves, etc. The bathrooms are clean and feature luxury shower stalls with no bathtub, which is fine with me. The beds are also very comfortable.”

• Beautiful rooms with a flat screen TV.
• How slow the elevators system works.

“Beautiful room with a lot of marble and a flat screen TV in the living room area. Pull out sofa bed was very comfortable for a pull out. Would stay again. Only down fall on the stay was the wait and the lines for the elevators.”

“My wife and stepdaughter took a little trip together and only had positive things to say about this hotel. The good: - Service was fine, although they had little contact after checking in to the time they checked out. Shopping center next door-One can walk to the beach-Big room that was clean and the beds were comfortable-Full kitchen with a dishwasher-Large flat screen TV on the wall-Water taxi is convenient, although they did not use it Only negatives: - Parking fees, they did valet ($17) for convenience with a late arrival-Nothing was open in the area to grab a bite to eat at 11pm on a Sunday.”

• Location, rooms, service, free falling shower, plasma TV, full kitchen, nice soft beds no sink holes. The water taxi pick up 7am till 12 am.
• Had to pay to park.

“Its a good location. The mall one block away has all top of the line stores and good mall food. One thing that sets it apart is your right on canal and also you can see ocean even from pool view which they did upgrade for free. The warm cookie was inviting, rooms clean, bed real nice, and full kitchen. The water taxi picks right up at back door; for 12$ a day, you can ride to 11 different drop off while listening to the lives of the rich and famous but it was a fun filled day; we stopped and had a awesome day; left at 8 am; didnt come back till 9 pm; the water taxied follows the canal; it was a must do for me and very well done it was (sit on left side of water taxi a lot more they talk about there). The hotel staff was at our beck and call and very helpful. They even can get a yacht for you to rent for special occasions loved it.”

• It was a nice location and nice room.

“This hotel was VERY nice. However, when I asked about a room with 2 double beds, I got an attitude from the front desk clerk. I was in no way rude to her or complaining and I wasn't aware that I had gotten a king room because normally, a standard room has 2 double beds. She was a little snippy. The elevator was really slow too. Overall, it was a great hotel/room with a great location. Well worth the price, even if she was rude.”

• The location was great for shopping. The suite was fabulous.
• It was noisy because of being right on a busy street and the parking situation was terrible. Also having to pay $17/day to park.

• Elevators were very slow and had to wait to long for them.

• Pretty, well kept very friendly staff and has a nice eating facility.
• The blinking fire alarm light in the bedroom & no shuttle service.

“This hotel more than met with my expectorations. We were greeted after a very late arrival by a very friendly staff member who checked us in quickly and gave us nice warm cookies. The room was excellent and thoroughly clean. We had a great buffet breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice though they do need more help as we stood for some time waiting for a hostess to get seated. Check-out was smooth and easy and the staff did call for a taxi so we could get around town.”

“The hotel is very nice, and the rooms are as well. The main drawback was the inability of the hotel to have the elevators running properly for the duration of our week long stay. It made it take much longer to reach the room or the lobby. In the end, they had to issue small credits to guests for the trouble.”

• Elevators did not work, hot tub not working, room clean but smelled like smoking room.

“Staff and service is great, but they are dealing with a hotel that is not in the best shape. Stayed there on a lay over and only one elevator was working out of 3, stayed again for 2 day on another lay over 2 weeks later and elevators still not working. long waits. Hot tub, no heat. common areas are not in great shape, walls a bit smudged and not so clean. room was a non-smoking but smelled like it used to be a smoking room. thin walls, can hear other people's TV's lots of traffic outside.”

• Room is fabulous, huge, and perfect.
• Couch was stained, but who cares! Pool was small.

“I got an awesome deal. I would have paid double for the room I got, and I think they all look that way. Everyone was very courteous. Valet was fast as could be (we always called a couple minutes ahead of when we wanted to leave, and we never once waited for our car.) The elevators were slow, but I had a room directly across from the elevator (315) so I didn't care. I just opened my door and finished up in my room until the elevators came. The view was so nice on the porch, and I had the city view! Everything about the place is clean, nice, big, and wonderful.”

• The hotel room was amazing and the bed was so comfortable.

“I would rate this hotel a 3+ star, the rooms were very comfortable and roomy with a kitchenette, the location is super with views of the intercostals and ocean. Self parking was inconvenient and the cost of $17 per night for parking I thought was pricey.”

• Not only do you pay to stay at the hotel, but even as a hotel guest you have to pay to park.

“Had a bad experience. Cold room service. Room was not being restocked daily (coffee, tea, etc.). Microwave had an issue. Brought to front desk attention 3 times. Nothing happened, except a free breakfast, which was not so good. Disappointed they did not correct.”

• Very modern, big flat screen TV in living room, kitchen, marble floors.
• Hot tub wasn't working.

“This is the 2nd time staying at this hotel. It's very modern and clean with a kitchen and large separate bedroom. There is a big flat screen TV in the living room. Also has a full dining area. The balcony was huge and very relaxing. The floors in the kitchen & bathroom are marble which was very nice. The bathroom has a large stand-up glass enclosed shower (no tub). I always get a great deal at this hotel and I am always happy with the staff and the accommodations. I would definitely recommend it for vacationers, business travelers or a quick getaway for a couple.”

• Parking was terrible, no free internet access, extra charges for everything.

“The hotel was great. The room was beautiful. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel unfortunately nickels and dimes you for every extra charge. No parking available unless you valet, while I can understand that in a large city like Manhattan, this hotel is in Ft. Lauderdale. They advertised as having wireless internet access, well it wasn't going to be available until a week later. Second, they were going to charge me $10 just for use of a cable plug in to get connected to the internet. Just the little charges were very annoying, seems petty but was extremely annoying and made my overall experience not enjoyable.”

• The two bedroom suite exactly fit our needs in terms of bedroom space, bathroom facilities, and common space. The televisions were excellent.
• There was a daily parking fee, even for self-park.

“This is a very nice hotel, very easy to find and the rooms were very comfortable. Great for families or business. The kitchenette had everything you need to prepare a meal. Stove top, microwave, refrigerator, pots and pans, silverware and cooking utensils. Coffee and tea both provided in room. Very nice staff.”
