• The room was beautiful and spacious, they gave us the floor we wanted, no questions asked, very clean and elegant lobby.
• Some of the hotel lobby staff wasn't very friendly with the kids, but they were a little rambunctious.

“The hotel was beautiful and very clean, they took very good care of us, and most of the staff was friendly and happy. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and nice, we even had a refrigerator. When we first arrived, they asked us which floor we preferred, (which was very important to me, I like to stay on the top floor)! The only thing I didn't like, was that it wasn't a very child friendly hotel with the front staff, other than that, I would love to stay here again!”

• Heated pool! Painless Check in/out &parking. Looks great and clean. Friendly Staff. Close to the beach & downtown still feels private. Secure entry.
• Business center was not private to read confidential emails. Towels were not readily available at pool side. A microwave would be nice in the room.

“The star rating is understated. The hotel provided all that we need and more. The heated pool enabled us to swim outdoors, though we experience cold weather during our visit. The linens were top quality, the hotel looks great and though located at the intersection of two main roads, you forget about it once you are inside. A great place to stay, you will not want to leave!”

• Free Internet. Most hotels do not do this anymore. Great perk!
• Honestly, I have nothing to complain about here. Everything was in order.

“The hotel was very clean and in a family friendly location, right next to a Denny's. There are also a slew of restaurants up and down Commercial and US 1. We only stayed one night, before hitting a cruise out of nearby Port Everglades, but the night was enjoyable. Upon arriving, we initially got a room that had a hint of cigarette smoke in it but this hotel is a smoke-free hotel, and fines are levied to anyone caught smoking, so someone got away with it in our first room. However, upon reporting this, the hotel staff immediately attended to the odor in the room, while getting my family into another room. I believe all rooms on this property have balconies, which is a nice touch. Also, free internet in all rooms, which is a nice perk that you don't see much anymore from many hotel chains. Overall, I'd recommend this place to anyone.”

• Directions from the airport should read get on highway US1 straight through.

“We both appreciated our stay at this hotel, the parking was adequate, and the pool superb. Would certainly stay at this hotel if we come to Fort Lauderdale again.”

• Non-smoking, no free breakfast, unfriendly and unaccommodating staff.

“I was not happy to find out that the entire hotel was non-smoking and they did not offer a free continental breakfast that I have grown fond of when staying at other hotels. This hotel wanted to charge $9.95 each person for a buffet style breakfast. When we could just walk across the street and get Denny's breakfast for probably less money. The room size was okay, the coffee in the room was terrible, the bedding was terrible, I was not accommodated at all when asking for a queen/king size bed so we got 2 singles (when there probably were queen/king bed rooms available). Overall, I was very disappointed and dissatisfied with this hotel and the staff.”

• Everyone was pleasant for the most part.
• The quality was NOT what I expected from a courtyard.

“The hotel was ok. It states only 1 mile from the beach and that was not true. My room had a problem with the door and they had trouble getting it fixed, thus delaying my needed sleep. When the job was done, it did not look very professional or of good quality. Everyone was nice and pleasant. The experience was just not what I expected.”

“Though I had a problem with internet connection, the staff quickly offered to change my room and had someone on staff at my door in less than ten minutes to help me make the move. All was fine with the second room.”

• The comfort of this hotel and its staff are phenomenal.
• No restaurant on premises for lunch or dinner.

“I've stayed in over a dozen different hotels in the past 6 months and this hotel is by far the nicest. The comfort of the room and the friendliness of the staff set it apart. I would recommend it to anyone whether traveling with family on vacation or for business.”

• The linen appears clean.
• The hotel room smelled moldy. I was moved to another room but it also smelled moldy.

“The rooms smell moldy. Paint chips and dust were falling from the ceilings onto the furniture. The walls and carpet were wet with moisture.”

• The hotel was clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff, secure feeling to the environment.
• The only problem I had were a large area of cobwebs on the ceiling in one corner.

“I only had a one day stay there on my way home from key west. I was pleasantly surprised upon coming into the front lobby. The hotel was clean, with courteous staff members. The rooms were clean, fresh, and spacious. The hotel was slightly dated but maintained well. The hotel was quiet even with its busy location.”

“If there had been hot water for the morning shower, all would have been fine. I happened to check the patio slider before retiring--it was unlocked! As a woman traveling alone, this made chills go up & down my spine! Staff was very accommodating.”

“Great if travel with children. Clean at all times. Customer service is on the spot. Easy to find from any location. Only 1 mile from the beach if you like walking, but parking is cheap. We actually spent more time at the hotel than at the beach. Great places to eat out nearby.”

• I was told they served breakfast free, when I went to go eat I was charged $9.95.

• The rooms were lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful.
• There was nothing I didn't like.

“Right off the main road and close to the beach and major highways. The rooms are lovely, 2 beds, desk, refrigerator, coffee, ice machine at the elevator on each floor. The beds were very comfortable. All in all it was a lovely stay.”

• Wired (LAN) Internet Access (much better than Wi-Fi).
• Very late housekeeping.

“A decent hotel in a convenient location. Breakfast is not included but the buffet is quite good for $8.95. Free LAN internet access is a nice feature and the rooms are attractive and comfortable. Overall very satisfied except for housekeeping which showed up after 5 PM although I had vacated the room early in the morning.”

• This hotel was nice for the price. Nice pool area. Clean.
• Room was a former room allowed for smokers and had a stale smell and room was not made up in a timely fashion.

“Nice hotel for the price. Pool was nice. Restaurants were nearby. The only downfall was the room smelled like stale smoke and the maid service was poor. Upon return to our room at 4:00PM after being out all day, the room still did not have clean towels or the bed made.”

• The hotel is adequate for the money.

“This hotel isn't a bad choice. However, there is no transportation other than cab, not much in the area other than Denny's and the hotel pool. All rooms have a tiny fridge but don't all have a microwave. Only some rooms have a couch area, others just have a "chair". Overall quality of hotel is fair and customer service is excellent!”
