• They had a very accommodating staff.
• The security personnel were very rude!

“The hotel overall was great. However there security personnel ruin my sweet taste for it & left me with a bitter savor, although later re sweetened by the front desk staff. My wife & my daughter & I had gone to a family birthday party. By the time we got back we had just had a late night dinner at 1AM so we weren't about to go to sleep. So we ordered a "hotel Pay Per View Movie" -titled: "Are we Done Yet" (which is a family movie) because of the late hour we were considerate enough to only have TV on a volume level of 20 from a max out capability of 50. In other words the TV was relatively low. Then 15 minutes into the movie we get a knock on the door by security to lower the TV. I could barely hear the movie myself with the AC unit on. Still the idiot they had for security wanted the TV even lower. Needless to say if it weren't because I was traveling with wife & kid at that moment I would have packed. However I did leave first thing in the morning. The front desk gave me credit for the movie. However that didn't replace ruining a very nice evening with my family.”

• It was a beautiful hotel.
• The workout room and the pool were average.

“The Boca Marriott at the town center is a beautiful hotel with shopping and fine restaurants within walking distance. The staff is polite and courteous. Parking was available as well as valet. Although the workout room was small, we were thankful to be able to exercise during our stay. ”

• The beds! They use the best linen.
• Bathtub not clean & lots of dust.

“You can really get a good night's sleep but there is always a lot of noise coming from the hall and rooms next door. You can hear everything! Also, this is the second stay I¿ve seen the bathrooms not clean mainly, the tub and sink area. Nasty!”

• Located in a nice area and in a very nice strip mall with lots to deal without leaving the hotel lot.
• The outlet in the bathroom did not work.

• Close to all I needed.
• Upon check in staff seemed snooty like they knew I did not pay full rate.

“Hotel seemed under staffed on the weekend. Seemed like they were better prepared for the weekday business traveler. Website said wireless n/c in all rooms, only wired at additional charge.”

• The hotel was very clean and nicely furnished. The beds were comfortable.
• Starbucks in lobby did not have real chain latte.

“This hotel was beautiful and very comfortable. Rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. The feather pillows and comforters made for a good nights sleep. ”

• Pool and gym facilities were poor.

“For a business traveler this hotel is perfect. For a family on a Florida vacation I would not recommend the hotel. The pool was very poor. It was not the typical beautiful Florida pool. The equipment at the gym was very old. I was traveling for business though and for business purposes it is perfect. this hotel should fall under 3 star not 4 star.”

• They had no shuttle & no free internet service.

“We wanted to take a shuttle to a local restaurant (3 miles away) and they said it was to far away. It would have been nice to have free internet service in our room or at least in the lobby or by the pool.”

• It was just a great experience from the minute I walked through the door.
• That you had to pay for the internet access. Most 'budget hotels' don't even charge.

“This hotel is ideally located in Boca Raton with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. I recommend this for any type of travel, business or leisure.”

• The hotel staff knocking on the door lightly but waking us up at 9 am when check out is 12.

“I would go there again but the hotel prices are allotting 2.50 for an 8 to 12 oz soda at the bar and 10 dollars to use the internet when others charge next to nothing.”

• I love the bed & bed sheets, the fountain in the lobby, the outdoor spaces.
• The valet was worthless, never there, constantly tracking him down.

“This is an excellent hotel for 3 stars. The rooms are upscale & cozy. The outdoor spaces around the restaurant & pool are very inviting. Overall the staff is excellent. My only negative experience was with the valet service. Next time I¿ll park my car myself. No one could ever find him and several times the front desk staff had to handle my luggage and bring up my car!”

• The hotel's decor was awesome.
• No ice or drinks in floor's vending area. Forced to used mini bar.

“Hotel's decor is awesome. Setup to accommodate business traveler's offering a wired business connectivity for 9.95, which includes long distance and internet. This was excellent. Furniture setup and views were awesome. I would stay at hotel, again and again. This is perhaps one of the nicer hotels in Boca. The staff was excellent. A pleasure to talk too. They were all service. The experience was one of the best I have seen. Thank you Marriott.”

• The beds and pillows were awesome. Very clean.
• There was nothing to not like.

“The hotel was fantastic. However, I made an error in my selection and immediately wrote, figuring it wouldn't do any good anyway, but thought I would give it a shot. Did not even give me the courtesy of an auto responder indicating "So Sad - Too bad!" You just completely ignored me. An auto responder doesn't cost a thing.”

• Wastebaskets were not emptied by housekeeping.

“The Boca Marriott is attractively decorated, including the rooms and not just the lobby featuring a glass installment by Dale Chihuly. The restaurant is pricey but worthwhile. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, at least during our recent visit. It would be nice if they would offer free wireless as many of the less expensive hotels do instead of charging for it.”

• Classy, elegant, loved the decor of room, lobby.
• Cocktails were too pricey; restaurant was upscale. there was no other affordable alternative eatery.

“Beautiful hotel. would stay here again. even toiletries were top notch. only complaint is that we did not get our room made up the next day. we left our room at 10am and returned at 4pm. the room had not been touched - bed was unmade, etc. finally maid came by at 5pm as we were resting and getting ready for dinner. that was too late!”

• Beautiful, newly renovated hotel. You could still smell the wet paint. Amazing.
• No gift shop with magazines, toiletries etc.

“I really enjoyed this hotel as it had been recently renovated. Beautiful fountain in lobby, rooms are nice sized with nice linens. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

• No wireless Internet access available in-room.

“I have stayed here 3 times, and have been consistently pleased with the accommodating nature of the staff, and the well-maintained rooms. This hotel will not let you down. My only complaint is that there is no wireless Internet access available in-room, but the business center in the lobby has proved to be sufficient for my needs. A wired Ethernet connection is available however, it will cost you an additional $10. You do need to understand that the higher quality of this hotel comes at a price: any extras will cost you, i.e.- mini-bar, bottled water, no complimentary continental breakfast, etc. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a comfortable, restful place to stay, with loads of excellent service.”

“I pulled up and it felt like a motel since there was no one to take my bags... but when I walked into the lobby it was just gorgeous. I'd say there are things about this hotel that make it very fancy (lobby, room service was served beautifully, great shampoo and conditioner!) and then very motel-is, like the valet and doormen are rarely available, the pool spa was broken.”

“Greeted with kindness. Room was clean and kept tidy by staff. Room service was always kind and quick to deliver. The pool is large and the gym has nice equipment. It is within walking distance to many fine restaurants and shops. Close to freeway for easy access to other areas including the airport.”
