“Excellent, clean, large rooms, friendly staff.” Aug 30, 2006 by

“My experience was good.” Aug 29, 2006 by
Peter from Prairie Village, KS
“This hotel is showing its age... old rooms old details, not really 4 star quality.” Aug 29, 2006 by
Doug from New Westminster, BC CA
“Staff was very friendly and helpful (of particular mention was Luis "Luis Armstrong") who saved us considerable travel time to the Keys and recommended a great spot for my family. The gym was outstanding and comparable to a full featured fitness club. Food was top notch. Dining outside on the deck where you can watch the sunset ...very romantic! Great hotel. Would definitely stay again.” Aug 14, 2006 by
Carole from Boca Raton, FL
“I loved the hotel but thought it was worth less than what we paid. Felt like I got ripped off. There was a salsa congress going on and it was loud 24 hours a day. We got no sleep at all. There was no parking due to construction which ended us with a parking ticket. Beach access was very difficult.” Aug 4, 2006 by
Gisela from Ft Myers, FL
“Beautiful architecture, great lobby. Traveling with my 3 teenagers 18, 16 and 14 years old we found that the exercise activities offered in the hotel (as salsa dance, aerobics and many more) were absolutely the best thing of all, all my children loved them , me too, and did not cost any extra money at all. All other things like breakfast, parking the car and so on costed lots of extra money! I would like to suggest that you should put breakfast as an alternative to choose from the beginning in your site. I will use your site again. Regards Gisela.” Aug 4, 2006 by

“Great Hotel - I recommend!” Jul 31, 2006 by
Johnnie from Euless, TX
“This is a good hotel if you have a car. The beach area is nice.” Jul 15, 2006 by
Vanessa from Glendale, CA
“The location and its proximity to the beach and other hot spots was great. The bell men, the concierge, and all but one of the front desk people were friendly and helpful. The hotel does need some work - minor details but still makes a lot of difference to guests such as myself (i.e., some painting needed inside the room, replacing some doors as they get jammed or look damaged from the bottom, bring down old, dried and dead plants from the pool area). The rooms were clean and comfortable and our view was fantastic, the only problem was the thin walls and being able to clearly hear activities going on with the couple next door. The food at the more casual eating restaurant was also some of the worst food I've tasted. The menu needs to be changed up and the cook needs help. There were minor things that helped Eden Roc score a few points like the impressive lobby and the fabulous furniture, the ability for a guest to print his/her boarding ticket for free at the front desk, and the free M & Ms - not anything major but also nice little perks that make a difference.” Jul 14, 2006 by
Patrick from Cornelius, NC
“This trip was great, and the reservation and until we left, everything was very hospitable.” Jun 4, 2006 by
Rivky from Brooklyn, NY
“Hotel looks like once was a nice hotel but nowadays needs to be refreshed and redone. Thanks for the great service.” Apr 27, 2006 by
Heidi from Dallas, TX
“The hotel location, staff service, pool, restaurants, and quality bedding made this hotel an excellent choice for the rating! The only negative comment, which is significant, is the resort was not clean. From trash on the premises, used towels left out all day by the pool, crumbs and previous guests personal items in my room and on the carpet at check-in, dirty counters at the bar. Overall the cleanliness was terrible where ever you were on the premise. Even a local guest who visited me for dinner commented on the uncleanliness of the surroundings.” Apr 26, 2006 by
Miguel from Miami, FL
“The hotel was an excellent choice for our family to spend a nice weekend on the beach. The hotel staff was outstanding. We were very pleased with our stay.” Apr 15, 2006 by
Tomg from Atlanta, GA
“This hotel is nice, however the atmosphere may be a little too formal for Holiday. All the time they have conferences going on. We were not too happy with some staff, they are a bit too "pushy". Otherwise clean and nice place. Beach next to hotel is not too wide and may be actually not that useful. If you want beach, go to south Beach area. Pools was great, water warmed to ideal temp. Staff helpful etc.” Apr 15, 2006 by
Paul from Kansas City, MO
“My wife and I returned to this hotel for the second year in a row. We love the stylish 50s look to the hotel lobby and pool. It is in an excellent location with easy beach access and a good walk to the restaurants in South Beach. The hotel restaurants are good and hotel service is excellent. We highly recommend the Eden Roc.” Apr 13, 2006 by
Jim from Winter Park, FL
“Great place to enjoy Miami Beach!” Apr 12, 2006 by
Amy from Henderson, KY
“The walls were paper thin, the rooms and bathrooms were not as clean as they should have been. Beds were comfortable, food at Aquatic was less than average, Harry's Grill was closed due to Passover. Service was friendly and helpful. There was a large convention crowd and the remainder of the guests were very mixed. I would not stay here again. They are doing renovations this summer and the desperately need it. It seems like it was on it's way downhill.” Apr 9, 2006 by
Meir from Brooklyn, NY
“Really happy with the hotels service, location, and staff helped us find what we were looking for.” Mar 30, 2006 by
Boyd from Dana Point, CA
“Great atmosphere and very relaxing. $25 valet or you can park next door for $10 a day. South Beach is just about 5 -10 minutes down the street. There are several markets and many restaurants within minutes and it's pretty close to the highway.” Mar 24, 2006 by
Jason from Crystal Beach, FL
“We were locked in our room w a broken lock. We were forced to stay in our hotel all day waiting for engineering. Carpet was damp during stay. Room service was horrible. Turn down never happened. No shampoo conditioner. The whole room was damp and miserable.” Mar 22, 2006 by
Jacob from Kansas City, MO
“This hotel boasts excellent customer service. From the moment we checked in were simply pampered all weekend. Very nice large rooms; we even had an ocean view! It was a truly amazing deal. I would go back in a second.” Mar 22, 2006 by
Robert from Odessa, FL
“Don't go to this hotel if you expect a great beach, but for a nice resort stay it was a great experience.” Mar 18, 2006 by
Sandy from West Hollywood, CA
“One of the top two grand Miami Beach 1950's era resorts beautifully and stylishly updated and managed by Renaissance Hotels.” Mar 13, 2006 by
Michael from Lantana, FL
“Staying at this hotel was every thing one could expect of a four star hotel and more. The staff was excellent from the moment we drove up until we left. I have stayed at some great hotels, but have never had a staff treat me and my wife so well.” Mar 10, 2006 by
Cheryl from Baltimore, MD
“This stunning property has been brought back to all of its original glory, just beautiful! The rooms are spacious and very well appointed, the staff could not have been more helpful. Wish my stay was longer and I can't wait to return !” Feb 25, 2006 by
Eric from Humble, TX
“Had most every thing you would want. Sorry I did not stay longer.” Jan 13, 2006 by
Bernie from Bristol, CT
“Utilized hotel for extended stay after cruise. I was extremely pleased with welcoming staff especially bellmen and valet staff, very cordial people. The pool area very clean and well maintained. There is a 3 mile boardwalk from hotel to south beach along beach line, great job Miami. ” Jan 9, 2006 by
Yossi from North Woodmere, NY
“The hotel itself is very nice, clean and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. However, it is not the greatest place if you have younger kids. I also did not like the fact that the main pool was mostly in the shade by noon, and there were many little black bugs by the pool area. Other than that, it is was a wonderful Hotel, and I would recommend it to all.” Jan 8, 2006 by
J from Mount Kisco, NY
“Quality 4-star hotel at a great location. Lots of amenities. Very good gym with sauna and steam room. Large Olympic-size pool. Small beach area. ” Jan 6, 2006 by
Fernanda from Wellington, FL
“The location was great. Some of the staff were nice, but others really rude like the room cleaning service. Food at one of the restaurants Aquatic was the uneatable. Breakfast croissants were like just pulled from the freezer. The room smelled strongly mold. But location was great and we only went for a night.” Jan 6, 2006 by
Jennifer from Coral Springs, FL
“My family and I did not know what to expect going to the Eden Kroc All the reviews were great, but we knew it was an older hotel. The rooms are definitely in need of some heavy duty upgrading. Outdated furniture had seen better days. Carpet was filthy and bathroom had strange aroma of lingering body odor like someone who had cleaned the bathroom did not use deodorant. Other than that the staff was friendly and delighted to serve. We were upgraded to a bigger room with large wrap around balcony with amazing views of ocean and inter coastal Careful of Jacuzzi tubs. Safety hazard They have metal cage around one of the jets and I caught some toes in it not knowing it was there. Might have broken one because it still hurts!” Jan 4, 2006 by
Kim from Highlands Ranch, CO
“Nice lobby, location wasn't bad. Rooms were run down and not well maintained with stains on carpet, lots of marks on walls bathroom small, bathroom door patched up. Lobby gives higher expectations and rooms are a let down.” Jan 2, 2006 by
Candice from Port Neches, TX
“The entrance to the hotel was impressive but the rooms were small, noisy and needed updating. You could tell you were in an 1950's hotel with the emphasis being on the lobby area.” Dec 8, 2005 by
Jennifer from Las Vegas, NV
“The Eden Roc is terrific. It's very clean and modern. The room and bathroom are also very modern, updated, clean and nice. The pool area was okay, the chairs weren't that nice, and I saw a bunch of ants, but that was pretty minor. I ate at the restaurant Aquatic and the food was very good as well as having a lovely beachfront location, reasonable prices as well.” Dec 7, 2005 by
Charles from Berkeley, CA
“The large, well appointed rooms and thoughtful, accommodating staff will make for a memorable stay at the Eden Roc Resort and Spa. With rooms overlooking both the bay and the ocean, this hotel, which opens directly on the beach in Miami Beach, will leave you wanting but only that your stay can somehow miraculously be extended.” Nov 16, 2005 by

“Beautiful Hotel! Don't be fooled by the reviews of people complaining about parking. IF YOU COME TO MIAMI, Plan on paying for parking! Even at the Days INN, atleast 13$ a day. Hotel is huge, private beach (wear or don't wear what you'd like!), Very knowledgable conceirge service. Valet Parking only and they DO charge a resort fee, $75 A night and it is a hold. You can have them not charge it by complaining! overall one of my favorite hotels in N. Miami and on priceline, I always pay $65-$95 instead of the usual $300.” Oct 14, 2005 by
Gloria from Jersey City, NJ
“It is a beautiful hotel with architectural history, great location and large swimming pool.” Oct 12, 2005 by
Julie from Dunwoody, GA
“The room was beautiful and very clean. The staff was so friendly. Above all though, that bed was the most comfortable bed ever. I could have slept all day. There were beach chairs for us to use which was great. I was totally impressed and would stay there again without a doubt.” Oct 12, 2005 by
Ben from Atlanta, GA
“Overall, staff was very friendly. facilities was nice , excellent workout area and pool area. main complaint would be that the rugs and some furniture need replacing or a really good cleaning. In the pool area there were some outside columns that had paint chipping and peeling off. Unless you plan on spending all you time at the hotel, you really need a car as this is around 20 blocks from restaurants and nightlife.” Oct 6, 2005 by
Rani from Atlanta, GA
“Overall, a great hotel!! We were very please and had a great time. The pool/beach areas are gorgeous! The hotel staff were very helpful and polite. One of the guys on the beach staff was kind of rude and said that he had to charge us $15 for an umbrella since we didn't have the right room key, even though we were guests at the Eden Roc- didn't make sense!!” Sep 20, 2005 by
Drew from West Orange, NJ
“The staff were excellent, friendly, warm and responsive. The public areas are well appointed and updated. The rooms however, are just a little this side of well maintained and there is no furniture, no armchair in a large room. Nevertheless a good value.” Aug 24, 2005 by
Daniel from Albuquerque, NM
“Wonderful soaring 1930's design. Great lobby. Nice rooms. Fair restaurant. Great service. Did not try to impose a "resort fee" which many resorts try to do. I was pleased by that.” Aug 18, 2005 by
Dawn from St. Charles, MO
“Ideal hotel for romantic weekend...lots of amenities, nice pools, large size room with view, very friendly and helpful staff....would recommend to others...” Aug 10, 2005 by
Rick from Winter Springs, FL “Great beach location and wonderful fitness center. A little far from South Beach and restaurants but you can drive to them and park in a city garage.” Aug 2, 2005 by
Stephen from Natick, MA
“The Eden Roc is a nice resort with a good location right on Miami Beach. Easy access to the beach with complimentary chairs and umbrellas for Marriott Rewards members. Convenient location to South Beach and the other attractions in Miami Beach.$23 for valet parking was extremely expensive and there were no reasonable self-park options.Hotel is old and shows its age. The rooms are adequate though they are spartanly furnished and the bathrooms are clearly outmoded. Walls are thin and it is far too easy to be bothered by noise eminating from other rooms on the same floor. All nights at the Eden Roc at least one room on the floor was throwing a large party until 5PM. That made it difficult to enjoy a good nights sleep. The Eden Roc was nice and came at a decent price, but our experience there was not so great that we would explicitly choose to stay there again.” Jul 27, 2005 by
Bernard from Miami, FL
“The Eden Roc is a very nice hotel, but the walls of the rooms are not thick enough to drown out the noises. Due to this issue we requested a room change.” Jul 25, 2005 by
Karon from New York
“This hotel was fantastic. We had a great room with a oceanview without even asking for it. The room was updated modern and the beds were so comfortable. The walk-in closet was a room in itself. A refrig was given to us no extra charge. The amenities were fabulous. A spa with a schedule of workout classes no extra charge. A weight room and exercise equipment galore. Definitely state of the art. Two beautiful pools well maintained. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful for all requests. This hotel was very restroom friendly. Whereever you were there was a bathroom available. We did not eat in the hotel because we keep kosher but the food looked real good. ” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jul 25, 2005 by

“Over all good, but needs attention to cleaning of rooms and repair of broken things like shower heads, and bathroom doors needing to be replaced” Hotel Representatives:
