“Great view, great location, great beach, great pool, great bar. I will be back.” May 18, 2009 by
Andreas from State College,PA
“The hotel was nice and it was what is supposed to be. Clean, big spacious rooms. No problems at all. Expensive parking ($30) per 24 hour period. MY only complain is that although the hotel was half full. I got the only room with no view at all and I do not mean ocean view. My room had no view at all.” May 6, 2009 by
Amy from Corpus Christi,TX
“This hotel is an older one, recently renovated. Our room had a beautiful balcony with a great view of the beach and the hotel's multiple pools. Location is good, but if you're looking for South Beach - it's over 20 blocks walking distance. The hallway on our floor smelled of mildew (closer to the smell of wet diapers really) and my fiancée had a pair of designer sunglasses and a bottle of expensive cologne that were missing when we packed up to check out. Although, the price we paid for the room was so much less than the rack rate that we got a good price even adding in the cost of replacing the stolen items. There's an in - room safe, it just didn't occur to us to put those items in it.” May 6, 2009 by
Jared and Yesenia from Jacksonville,FL
“Beautiful and close to hot spots. Parking is expensive, but positive to that is that you never wait long for your car, 5 min max.” May 4, 2009 by
Rajiv from Olathe,KS
“Excellent hotel, great location, would recommend to anyone visiting Miami Southbeach area.” Apr 23, 2009 by
Jocelyne from Miramar,FL
“I called for room service to bring the cups and ice for my niece's medication. No one showed, after thirty minutes I called inquiring about the items and they apologized and they will get back to me. No one showed nor did they call me to make me aware of the delay. As a result I have to check out and rush her to back to my house to get her back up medicine in order to avoid a bad reaction. What made it worst, I would have expected a general manager or someone to call to either apologize and no one did. I had friends coming down and I will not refer them to this hotel. Terrible customer service.” Apr 12, 2009 by
Leslie from Tucker,GA
“It was a good hotel.” Apr 11, 2009 by
Susan from Lakeville,MN

“Fabulous decor, comfortable room, great location, private beach. Food and service is generally pretty good. Watch out for inattentive bell desk staff.” Mar 26, 2009 by
Phyllis from Miami Beach,FL
“Perfect for romantic weekend.” Mar 25, 2009 by
Fe from Hialeah,FL
“The overall experience was wonderful. I am looking forward to going back soon. It was very romantic.” Mar 22, 2009 by
Enno from Minneapolis,MN
“This is an excellent hotel, I loved the general atmosphere of the renovated Eden Roc. If you go, check out their Italian restaurant, it's excellent!” Mar 12, 2009 by
Nick from Bronx,NY
“Great location for a quiet relaxing, romantic vacation just a cab ride from busy south beach.” Feb 25, 2009 by
Lisa from Boca Raton,FL
“We called the night before check in to let the hotel know that we would be arriving late, they did not hold a king bed like we requested. We had to settle for a room with 2 queen beds.” Oct 28, 2008 by
Howard Smith from New York
“Construction noise and debris all over the place. Sit at the pool and listen to the jack hammer. Room was not orderly when I arrived. No workout facility, no spa, no complimentary newspaper, no direct beach access. Give this property six months following completion of work.” Feb 12, 2008 by
Stacy from Williamstown, NJ
“Great Miami Beach Hotel if you don't care if your not south beach which is a few miles away. Hotel dated looking but clean hotel has good (not excellent) and very convenient waterfront restaurant, salon on site (hair and nails), nice bad linens.” Oct 24, 2006 by
Bill from Dallas, TX
“Expect to pay an additional $20 a day to park your car, typical for Miami. The Beach bar food is pricey and not all that good. Stick with the sandwich and snack menu. Breakfast in the main dining room was very good.” Oct 24, 2006 by
Debbi from Rohnert Park, CA
“This hotel and the staff are absolutely amazing. I will be going back to this location in the future. There was nothing I did not like. I felt like a star.” Oct 23, 2006 by
Jeff from Riverside, CA
“Overall, the hotel was very nice. It was in a very good location based on the attractions that I wanted to see. Would stay there again” Oct 15, 2006 by
Ej from Spring Valley, NY
“Most of the staff is pleasant (other than the front desk). The pool is great but there is construction going on and it can be noisy. It is definitely not for someone looking for a romantic getaway but for someone looking for a nice pool that doesn't mind the noise.” Oct 5, 2006 by
Harold V. from Apeldoorn, FL
“Fascinating deco hotel. Rooms complete, stylish and well decorated, with interesting features. Very nice deco lobby. Good location, large hot tub and even a BIG pool, with again good decorations. Excellent hotel for romance and friends. Easy parking next to the building (public). The atmosphere was very lovely; The hotel is in a great spot for business travelers but for leisure travelers it was not too far but we did have to travel to get to restaurants. But overall I had a lovely time there and I would return to that hotel if I was to come back to Miami.” Oct 1, 2006 by
Debbs from Demotte, IN
“I love going to this hotel. It is beautiful. Great pool and beach. Nice Lobby.” Sep 18, 2006 by
Douglas from Eagle Lake, FL
“This hotel is in a beautiful location. The rooms and furnishings looked like they needed to be redone 20 to 30 years ago. The only parking at the hotel is $22.00 and done by a valet service which scratched the entire side of my car and spilled what looked to be coffee or soda an the exterior, after all that I was still charged for parking. The fire alarm in the hotel sounded at 5:00am and was a false alarm which I was told happens often by the front desk.” Sep 18, 2006 by
Katarina from Riverview, FL
“This hotel in near everything from downtown, south beach, and shopping. We didn't need to worry about driving and when we needed to drive everything was near the hotel. I truly enjoyed my stay at the Eden Roc; I will come again soon.” Sep 16, 2006 by
Beverly from Palmer, PA
“Hotel lobby and pool area was extremely nice. Doormen were extremely gracious. However, our hotel room was facing the construction site and the reservation desk person refused to change our room. If I was staying more than one night I would have insisted on a better view.” Sep 14, 2006 by
Mariano. from Brooklyn, NY
“Good hotel, except for the noise and "view" of the construction next to the pool. I would return. Great if considered the deal through "Name your own price". You would not get this category for the price I paid (below and close to the hundred!)” Sep 10, 2006 by
Halle from Savannah, GA
“The hotel is undergoing renovations. They start at around 7:30 or 8 in the morning, which for us were not a problem but if one wanted to sleep late this could would be bad. Our room although it was amazingly spacious had a horrible queen-size bed (which at check in we were told was a king-size). The swimming pools were great and had an amazing view of the ocean front.” Sep 9, 2006 by
Cherie from Phillipsburg, NJ
“Definitely not a 4 Star Hotel and not up to Marriott standards. I would have canceled my room when I arrived and it was not refundable. Very disappointed and could not wait to leave the hotel the next day.” Sep 8, 2006 by
Pablo from Hialeah Gardens, FL
“Beach access was deviated , had to walk an additional 1000 feet or so to get to the beach.” Sep 8, 2006 by
Yitzchak from Brooklyn, NY
“All in all it was great, the kids loved the main pool, (the pool on top of the bar was a little too chilly for them), the room service did a great job and the staff were very willing to help, the only inconvenience we had was that it was hard to get to the beach because of the construction.” Sep 6, 2006 by
Shannon from Ormond Beach, FL
“If your not used to staying in 4 or 5 star hotels, this hotel will be just fine for you. If you are used to 4 or 5 star hotels, this hotel is not up to par. The valet service has you waiting for your car anywhere from 15-20 minutes, no matter when you go to get your car. There are no mini bars in ANY rooms. The appearance in the lobby is beautiful, we upgraded our room and the room was a nice size but the bed quality was cheap, nothing like The Westin or The Shores. I only recommended this hotel to someone who isn't used to upscale hotels.” Sep 4, 2006 by
Brett from Saline, MI
“I'm sure the Eden Roc was a nice hotel in the 60's and 70's, but in my opinion is in disparate need of upgrading. This hotel should be rated a 3 star to 3 1/2 star at best because the touches that would make it a 4 star just aren't there. This hotel is "well used" and has seen better days. For example the brass rails in the elevators are worn away making the elevator look dirty and its small detail that would make the appearance much better. Our room had a few things that made it less than a 4 star: First the bed was terribly uncomfortable because it was hard as a rock (no pillow top like you'll find at most 4 stars), the shower curtain was soiled, the bathroom floor was stained and had paint splatter all over it that has never been removed since the completion of last paint job, there was a dirty Q-tip left in the closet on the safe, and the room had a slight odor to it. The furniture, carpet and decorating was definitely dated and needs to be upgraded ASAP. Basically this hotel does not measure up to other Marriott properties that I have stayed at and we were disappointed and glad we only had to stay there one night.” Sep 3, 2006 by
Amy from Independence, KY
“The hotel is beautiful! Right on the beach and close to other attractions. It is very clean and the pool is lovely. I did not like some of the staff members. We were with friends and a friend of ours jumped in the pool on the deep end (no sign saying not to). The security guard was so rude! We apologized and he just walked away! Not what I was expecting after such a price. In addition the room service and bar were VERY expensive.” Sep 3, 2006 by
Edwin from Chesapeake, VA
“Old hotel, toilet seats were old and stained. Found pubic hair in the bed sheets, got a new room. Very expensive for what we got. Heavy loud construction going on next door. The pool was dirty, had a lot Styrofoam floating on the surface. Construction workers next door were continually staring at the women in the pool. Football table was broken. My son stepped on a broken bottle on the beach in 3 feet of water. Brought the bottle to an attendant who didn't care. I do not recommend spending $199 a night for this hotel, especially on a weekend with party people running up and down the halls at 3 AM.” Sep 1, 2006 by
Jonathan from Teaneck, NJ
“Excellent, clean, large rooms, friendly staff.” Aug 30, 2006 by

“My experience was good.” Aug 29, 2006 by
Peter from Prairie Village, KS
“This hotel is showing its age... old rooms old details, not really 4 star quality.” Aug 29, 2006 by
Doug from New Westminster, BC CA
“Staff was very friendly and helpful (of particular mention was Luis "Luis Armstrong") who saved us considerable travel time to the Keys and recommended a great spot for my family. The gym was outstanding and comparable to a full featured fitness club. Food was top notch. Dining outside on the deck where you can watch the sunset ...very romantic! Great hotel. Would definitely stay again.” Aug 14, 2006 by
Carole from Boca Raton, FL
“I loved the hotel but thought it was worth less than what we paid. Felt like I got ripped off. There was a salsa congress going on and it was loud 24 hours a day. We got no sleep at all. There was no parking due to construction which ended us with a parking ticket. Beach access was very difficult.” Aug 4, 2006 by
Gisela from Ft Myers, FL
“Beautiful architecture, great lobby. Traveling with my 3 teenagers 18, 16 and 14 years old we found that the exercise activities offered in the hotel (as salsa dance, aerobics and many more) were absolutely the best thing of all, all my children loved them , me too, and did not cost any extra money at all. All other things like breakfast, parking the car and so on costed lots of extra money! I would like to suggest that you should put breakfast as an alternative to choose from the beginning in your site. I will use your site again. Regards Gisela.” Aug 4, 2006 by

“Great Hotel - I recommend!” Jul 31, 2006 by

“This is a good hotel if you have a car. The beach area is nice.” Jul 15, 2006 by
Vanessa from Glendale, CA
“The location and its proximity to the beach and other hot spots was great. The bell men, the concierge, and all but one of the front desk people were friendly and helpful. The hotel does need some work - minor details but still makes a lot of difference to guests such as myself (i.e., some painting needed inside the room, replacing some doors as they get jammed or look damaged from the bottom, bring down old, dried and dead plants from the pool area). The rooms were clean and comfortable and our view was fantastic, the only problem was the thin walls and being able to clearly hear activities going on with the couple next door. The food at the more casual eating restaurant was also some of the worst food I've tasted. The menu needs to be changed up and the cook needs help. There were minor things that helped Eden Roc score a few points like the impressive lobby and the fabulous furniture, the ability for a guest to print his/her boarding ticket for free at the front desk, and the free M & Ms - not anything major but also nice little perks that make a difference.” Jul 14, 2006 by
Patrick from Cornelius, NC
“This trip was great, and the reservation and until we left, everything was very hospitable.” Jun 4, 2006 by
Rivky from Brooklyn, NY
“Hotel looks like once was a nice hotel but nowadays needs to be refreshed and redone. Thanks for the great service.” Apr 27, 2006 by
Heidi from Dallas, TX
“The hotel location, staff service, pool, restaurants, and quality bedding made this hotel an excellent choice for the rating! The only negative comment, which is significant, is the resort was not clean. From trash on the premises, used towels left out all day by the pool, crumbs and previous guests personal items in my room and on the carpet at check-in, dirty counters at the bar. Overall the cleanliness was terrible where ever you were on the premise. Even a local guest who visited me for dinner commented on the uncleanliness of the surroundings.” Apr 26, 2006 by
Miguel from Miami, FL
“The hotel was an excellent choice for our family to spend a nice weekend on the beach. The hotel staff was outstanding. We were very pleased with our stay.” Hotel Representatives:
