• Friendly staff, classy atmosphere, 24 hour outdoor pool.
• Workout room was inadequate; hotel provided free access to bally fitness.

“Recently remodeled upscale hotel in great location close to restaurants and shopping. Extremely comfortable beds with good pillow selection and fluffy duvet. Granite bath with large fluffy towels. Beautiful tropical outdoor pool area open 24 hours with poolside bar open till midnight. Complimentary business center and morning coffee. Fitness room is below expectations but hotel provides free access to bally fitness close to hotel.”

“Room was okay, pubic hairs from previous occupants in drawers. The closet door came off hinges/slide bar. Not what you expect from this hotel chain. Very disappointed. Staff was excellent, but did not make up for shortcomings! Would stay at different hotel next time.”

• Non Smoking, no refrigerator, no microwave, no balcony.

“I liked the comfort of the room and the beauty of the hotel but I didn't like the fact that I had to go downstairs to smoke outside; I didn't like the fact that there was no free continental breakfast, and I didn't like the fact that there was a small cooler with drinks and snacks. For a fee. For a 4 star rating, I just expected a little more than I got. But I do have to say the complimentary cookies in the lobby were excellent!”

• Walls are paper-thin; toilet looks like public fixture.

“Beds are very comfortable. TV cable was constantly going on the blink. The walls are so thin that hallway conversation was easily heard. The bathroom toilet looks exactly like the toilet at the airport. Room was very clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The gym facilities are laughable. We only had breakfast at the hotel, and it was very good. The pool area is lovely (although the water was a bit too warm), and we loved the poolside bar. All in all, not bad for the price.”

• The front desk employees were very friendly and efficient.
• One particular server was really bad (we always got him) very unorganized and rude. The food was ok, but not great.

“I would definitely give this hotel a 3 star rating, but certainly not a 4. The front desk employees were fantastic. The pool was clean, but not child friendly. The room was nice but there were a couple of maintenance issues in both rooms we stayed in. The restaurant needed help. The service was horrible and the food was fair at best. Room service was very friendly and fast.”

• The pool was beautiful! The waterfall and lush setting was very relaxing.
• The room was not as nice as I would expect in a 4-star hotel. The sink was cracked.

“I wouldn't pay more than that. The room and furniture just weren't nice enough to be 4 stars. The air conditioner was a noisy wall unit. I could hear quite clearly into the hall. I liked the interior corridors for safety. I often used a side door instead of the main entrance. The side door was supposed to be key-operated after 11pm, but the door looked like it was permanently unlocked.”

The restaurant service was slow because there only appeared to be on or two (at the most) waiters. Food was good, but not great considering the price. I would stay again, but would not eat here.”

• 24 hour beautiful pool and hot tub, a great feature.
• Desk staff could know more about surrounding restaurants, but overall this property ROCKS!!!!!

“WOW. Got there late, expecting a bottom barrel room. Ended up with a room on the Club floor, with breakfast, evening snacks/ desserts, private business center. The bed was one of the best I have ever slept in, the 24 hour pool/ spa magnificent. Truly A+++++ Will ABSOLUTELY stay there again!!! Helpful, friendly staff, can't possibly give enough kudos to this property! I promise you will love it!”

• Very friendly, helpful front desk staff.
• Poor mattress quality. Had to flip it and it still held indentations from previous occupants. Also had some expensive shoes and 2 books stolen.

“Beautiful pool and hot tub area are hallmarks of this hotel. Rooms are somewhat on the small size with individual a/c units and one medium-sized no opening window. The friendly front desk staff and afternoon juice or tea and cookies are also highlights.”

• Extremely nice staff. Very clean room, linens, and towels. Upscale granite bathroom!
• For two mornings straight, I did not have hot water available for showering! Only cold water.

“Upon arriving at this hotel, I was greeted very warmly at the front desk. The room, linens, towels, nightstands and desk were very clean. The air conditioning was great! Hotel room was very quiet with the exception of the occasional private jet flying over. Bathroom was fully equipped with upscale shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion, hairdryer, tissues etc. Hotel is conveniently located near I-95, with great restaurants, shops, and mall within walking distance.”

• The pool area was very nice and resort like.
• The hotel itself is not a 4 star level hotel. It is on a relatively small property, the elevators are cheesy and the hotel has not grandeur.

“It should not hold a 4 star rating, a 3 would be more accurate. I would compare this hotel to the Continental in Kansas City but not anywhere near The Venetian, Las Ventanas and the Four Seasons Nevis, all of which I have stayed.”

“All in all a great stay. Friendly staff, and free, fresh fruit and juice in the lobby. The only negative were the pillows, as the two types of pillows were either extremely small or extremely large that made sleep awkward. Again, a great experience overall.”

• "The bad attitude of the reservationists when I called to request a room type .she would not even listen to me kept interrupting and being very rude.

“When we arrived, I was pleased with the reception we got, very cordial and helpful, unlike what we experienced on the phone prior to arrival. 'The hotel was being renovated but they tried to keep up a facade of calmness and mostly, it was fine. Very nice rooms and pool area. Walking distance to major shopping and close to all major roads. Everything was squeaky clean.”
