• Great location. Close to great clubs & restaurants.
• Pool and pool area are very small. Parking is $25.00 a day.

“Marriott South Beach exceeded my expectations. Upgraded to ocean view room and given early check in & late check out at no additional cost. Location is perfect, away from the noise, but walking distance to plenty of restaurants & clubs. Waitress service on the beach & club music from the nearby Nikki Beach Club on Sundays. Would stay again.”

• Perfect for going to the beach, never have to get in your car.
• The rooms and the pool area were very small.

• Beautiful and modern, right on the beach, helpful hotel staff
• The restaraunt had horrible service and the bartender did seem to have much experience with frozen drinks.

“My husband and I loved this hotel! The staff was very friendly and the location was great! We had quick access to the beach which had a cabana set up for towel. Just don't eat or drink at the hotel. The service was so slow and the frozen drinks we ordered were undrinkable! It's better to eat out at the many wonderful restaraunts in South Beach.”

• Really high class, friendly staff. Great all around.
• A little too far off the main strip. But that also made the beach a little more private.

• fancy and fun; the beds were so comfortable and the a/c was nice
• It wasn't really the hotel's fault, but there were topless women on the family beach

• right on south beach!!, GREAT Food,Shopping,Clubs all within walking distance. Close to all the hard core parting, far enough away to relax
• room and pool were on the smallish side, but not tiny either,both were very nice.

“My family of 5 spent a week at the Marriott At South Beach. It was out-standing!. Hotel is clean and very fresh. Great service! Hotel is right on the beach, SOUTH BEACH! Pool is not huge, but is is nice. What I liked alot was the lounge beds they have, its a great place to lay around have some drinks and smoke a cigar. Food,Clubs,Shopping is all right there within walking distance. It was cool seeing several celebrities and models come and go from the hotel. You never know who will be in the elevator with you. Great Hotel!!!!”

• Fantastic beach. beautiful decor and professional staff.
• Carpet and bed skirt in room were quite soiled, otherwise clean.

• Jacuzi limitations are not enforced and was not able to get inside the tub during entire stay.

• Everyone there was very helpful and it was a very beautiful place. I loved the view from our balcony.
• I would have liked a bigger room.

“The hotel was great. Our room was the worst room in the hotel. They absolutely would not change our room. Although I had reservations for the next night with my convention in the same hotel, they would not put me in that room until the next day. ”

• Close to the main strip but not right in the mix of everything.
• Problem with toilet flushing that they attempted to repair to no avail. A little of an inconvenience to flush 3 times on every use of the restroom.

“We had lunch at the restaurant located on the ground floor. When my sandwich arrived the bread was moldy. I pointed this out to the waiter and changed my order. When we finished lunch we asked for the check and were told the entire meal was on the house. Didn't expect that! Class act. By the way the meal was excellent. Best mojitos yet.”

• Its a mostly recommended hotel at the heart of South Beach - right on the beach.

“Its a most recommended hotel. Placed right on the beach. Its 10 minutes walking from the heart of South Beach. It has a very nice outdoor pool & a Jacuzzi. The rooms are pretty nice & clean.”

• $$$ parking - have to rent beach chairs

“Great staff, but pricey... parking is 25 a day and then chairs another $10 ... but that's the way it is in sobe... close to ocean drive and if you are nightclubbing ...it's perfect. Families, the pool is small but have great pool toys. And having a balcony to sit on is amazing. The rooms are nice, and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast brunch is wonderful and you can sit and watch the ocean from the terrace. Would go back in a minute.”

• The staff was very nice and helpful. The customer service was exceptional with the exceptional.
• I was really disappointed with the hotel allowing taxi cheaters to take their guest around. I refused to use their taxis

“I enjoyed the pool, bar, beach, food, staff, spa, and sauna. It was great! The only major think I didn't like was the taxi stand. The door guys would call you a taxi. If one pulled in from another location they wouldn't allow guest to get in the other taxi. The problem with this was the taxi's they called were big cheaters. I learned the hard way. Once I figured out what was going on I no longer used their cabs. I would stay at this hotel every time I go to Miami, and I will let my friends know to stay at this location. Great! Just don't let the door guy call you a cab.”

“I was satisfied with everything about the hotel except the staff. Numerous people were simply incompetent. For example, we had to wait an hour for someone to pick up our luggage when we were departing; another time they took over two hours to deliver us a box that had been promised -- and when it showed up it was not what we had been promised. There were other problems, but you get the idea.”

• It is right next to a dilapidated hotel, which was right outside my window.

“Good quality furnishings. Small rooms. Too bad it is next to a dilapidated hotel, because that run down hotel next door occupies the majority of the view for the rooms on the south side of the hotel.”

• I loved the beds. They were ultra comfortable. The room and bathroom were lovely and we loved the little terrace with a view of the ocean.
• The towels did not smell fresh. I hated the valet parking. It cost from $21 to $23 per day plus tip. I would have rather had self=parking.

“The hotel is located in a quiet area away from the loud noises of clubs and cars of south beach and it's right on the ocean. The lobby is small, but tasteful and there is a restaurant in the hotel. We received a newspaper every day and the Wall St. Journal was available in the lobby. It was a mistake to rent a car as it is not needn't in south beach and the parking at the hotel ran from 21 to 23 dollars per day plus tax and then there was the tipping of the valet drivers. The room and bathroom were first rate (very clean and nicely decorated). The beds were extremely comfortable. The towels did not smell fresh. Good choice.”

• This hotel has superb helpful and friendly service.
• Room was nice and clean, but not very large.

“I would highly recommend this hotel if you want to enjoy South Beach in a quiet way as well if you want to enjoy the night life. We brought our small children and were highly surprised how perfect this hotel was for kids and adults. Lots for children to do and see and parents can still enjoy the closeness of restaurants and nightlife.”

“The hotel was not 4 star quality. We have stayed at another 4 star hotel on South Beach and the quality of the grounds and service do not compare. The rooms are smaller than you would expect. We also had to pay an additional $50 a night for an ocean front room.”
