• They upgraded me to executive floor with accompanying privileges.
• Hot tub wasn't operational, but they offered to let me use the Weston's.

“Great value, very nice experience. The breakfast served on executive floor was very good. Evening setup was also very nice. Staff were very helpful. This is a well managed property. We'll definitely stay here again when we visit Ft Lauderdale.”

• No refrig or microwave,

“Beautiful and romantic hotel, computers with internet access in the lobby, immaculately cleaned each day. Most noticeable is that the cleaning staff were quiet and didn't have a bunch of carts crowding the hallways.”

• Easy and clean.
• Hot tub was out of order.

“Due to a storm the hotel lost power for 18 hours. The room was hot and we were on back up generator for lights. The staff was as helpful as possible and the comped us breakfast for the discomfort. We were glad to be on the 5th floor because the elevators were out of order. They truly made the best of a bad situation.”

• Rooms were extremely comfortable and clean. Cozy.
• Power was out when we arrived and we walked 3 flights of very wet (dangerous) strairs outside.

“We were both surprised at the quality of this hotel. For the price, it was way better than expected. More of a business style dinning room/ lobby, but for us as a couple, we really enjoyed our huge room! It was clean and spacious with lots of extras. We had free wi-fi in our room and we had a nice big television. Shower and bathroom were spotless and we had coffee that we could brew the next morning. Very pleasant evening.”

• The hotel it self was very nice.
• House keeping staff was very sloppy in there job.

“The pool, spa and gym were great, the lobby was great, the front desk were quick to respond to your request. But house keeping hardly made the bed and forgot to leave fresh towels it in, it self ruined the stay.”

• Clean and attractive.
• Expensive to get to/from either airport or docks. Better to stay at a more expensive location with free transfers.

“Liked hotel, but found it very costly to get from airport to hotel and then from hotel to our destination which was the docks. Other hotels provided free shuttle service.”

• The staff was amazing!
• Nothing. Loved it all!

“Located off of the interstate with access to business and leisure activities, this hotel offered friendly and courteous staff members, swimming, hot tub, exercise room and a spectacular view. Everything was easily accessible with no confusion as to where you are. When I requested a 2nd room the staff was more than accommodating!”

• Location, pool was temperature controlled.
• Had hair on one of the beds and it appeared unchanged.

“This hotel did not meet our expectations of a 3.5 star establishment. There was hair on one of the beds in our room and the bed linen was already very wrinkled and appeared unchanged, there was mildew in the grouting of the bathtub and on shower curtain. We were not supplied with even an extra roll of toilet tissue had to ask for that. Carpet stained in room. We told the front desk and filled out a comment card. Did not hear back from them. We will not stay with Marriott again.”

• Room was quiet.
• We were at this hotel for 4 nights and the hallway was never vacuumed.

“I have stayed at this hotel before and the hotel was cleaner and better kept. This hotel is now a place where cruise people stay before and after cruises. Every morning we went through the lobby the area was full of people and luggage. I don't think we would stay there again.”

• 24 hour pool and gym access.
• Cleaning staff needs to verify room quality.

“Good hotel for business and leisure travel. Located close to airport and seaport. Hotel is located near restaurants and are within a short drive. Hotel has 24 hour pool and gym access. Friendlly hotel staff. All rooms are non-smoking.”

• The doors to the rooms are not sealed; too easy to hear any and all hallway noise.

• Convenient location.
• Our room needed repair, the plumbing cover was dangling, the door to the bathroom was splintered and there was a large roach hangingout in the tub.

“Room was in a well between their buildings with a few of roof and walls and the room just felt in need of a re-touch, particularly in the bathroom area. The beds and linens were of good quality and comfortable.”

• The staff, room, pool, and workout room.
• The gift shop was a bit pricey.

“Excellent hotel. I would recommend this hotel if you will be staying in the area. Everything is really nice, such as the rooms, pool, hot tub, workout room, and the staff. The location is a little out of the way, but not by much. 10-15 away from the beach, but yet close to I95 interstate. The only problem was the gift shop was a little pricey. Free internet use was a plus though! I'd definitely stay here again! Hope this helps you.”

• Very relax atmosphere. Business oriented hotel but kind friendly at the same time. Second stay and would stay again.

“It is just very relaxing, clean, very easy to get around to 95 on to fort Lauderdale, beds are good, down comforters are so warm. Gym its the best. Pool not so good, but nice new pool chairs to get a little sun if you wanted to.”

• Bed was quite comfy.
• Staff other than front desk and our experience with the pool/hot tub.

“While in Fort Lauderdale, the area was hit by an arm of Hurricane Gustav. One night when the weather was poor, we decided to try the rooftop pool and hot tub. When we got there at 10pm, the hot tub was full of a very loud and overpowering group. Turns out that it was the hotel staff! Some had just gotten off their shifts and others were about to begin work. We watched a staff member take 3 or 4 shots of liquor and put on his uniform to begin his shift. We waited until the day management was in place before notifying the hotel. They acknowledged that their staff does use the facilities before and after their work shift and advised that we should just call security the next time it happens and they would just be escorted from the area. We did not bother trying to use the pool/hot tub facility afterwards but think it's quite unprofessional to allow staff to overpower amenities that paying guests should be able to use without having to call hotel security!”

• Comfortable bed and quiet surroundings.
• 11th floor - constant banging of the fire doors, which were closed (magnets were not holding).

“Hotel has a very convenient parking garage, with free parking, which means never having to get wet in the rain. Close distance to a movie theater, and some restaurants, including a great one in the Moonlight Diner.”

• Great room size, plenty of room to walk and chill. Very comfortable bed. Nice decor.

“Great room for a hotel room, we usually stay in suites for size etc. This was a very large hotel room, very clean, comfortable and decorated nicely. I would definitely stay here again. If they tossed in a mini fridge and micro we would have loved it all the more.”

• The staff was attentive whenever I needed them. For example, the operator answer the phone timely and politely.
• How it was situated back from the main street.

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The toiletries it provided was very nice with a lingering scent. The linens were clean and fresh smelling. The pillows were amble and firm just the way I like my pillows.”

“The hotel was nice. The shower never got hot which I hate. They had a computer set-up specifically to print out flight boarding passes it would not print out my correctly. Also, this is the 3rd time this year that I have stayed and the self checkout on the TV did not work. Why offer it if it does not work!”

• Dirty water from maid bucket on balcony, damp rooms.

“I stayed 5 night at this hotel on a business trip to the area. If you are a business traveler, stay here, it's in the middle of the Ft Lauderdale corporate center. The first room I stayed in was damp. Even the bed sheets were damp. The rest of the week I stayed in a king room with a balcony. I was thrilled to have a good view of the area, until I discovered that the water I was standing in was dirty water run-off from the maid room next door.”

• The rooms were spacious and eye catching.
• The balcony was too small.

“The hotel lobby was large and spacious. This could also be said of the rooms as well. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. The rooms were bright and seem to be recently remodeled with new paint and marble title. There was large plasma HD TV in the lobby, a 24 hour fitness center and the rooms were equipped with wireless internet service.”

• The staff was friendly.
• Location is not as close to beach. There is no sauna.

“It is far from the beach. Also there was a dry sauna and there is not, the hot tub had no water in it. For the first 2 days we were there the floors in the hallways weren't vacuumed.”
