• The hotel room was cozy and clean, and the location was also excellent.
• Parking fee was not what I expected

“Among the hotels that I used from this trip, I liked Double Tree best. It was clean and cozy, and I regret staying there only one night.”

• Beautiful interior rooms.
• Corridors need improvement. Garage separated from hotel is difficult with small children.

“All in all, a nice urban hotel. The room interiors were recently renovated and rather plush, but the corridors had bumpy carpet and peeling wallpaper. Parking configuration made the stay a bit difficult with small children.”

“Beautiful location in downtown Miami. Convenient to downtown, Coconut Grove and South Beach. Beautiful views of Biscayne Bay. Parking at $20 per day was added to the bill, and the gratuity of 15% on food in the Bar was charged automatically.”

• Excellent hotel in Miami.
• The Valet parking for $19.20 per day.

“Excellent hotel in Downtown Miami, near to America Airlines Arena and Wayside Market, 5 minutes drive to Ocean Drive, south beach, the paradise of Miami. Worth for the money.”

• Great room, friendlt staff, convinient location
• Parking is $20 per day, rough neighborhood

“Wery nice room and staff. King bed, nice furnishings. Part of a condo complex, but it was nice. The valet parking is $20 per night, so keep that in mind. We had a nice balcony looking north. Coffee pot in the room as well as a safe. It mentioned High Speed Internet but we wern't there long enough to check if it was free.”

• I had a great experience. The location was perfect for my needs and the facilities were superb. From the spa to the pool to the restaurants.
• I was truly satisfied.

• No free internet access

“Excellent accomodations. We had 2 rooms that were immaculate and the staff were friendly. The immediate neighborhood is a little scary after dark, however the readily available free train shuttle took us everywhere we wanted to go. I will definitely stay in that area again.”

• Very unfriendly staff they don't seem to care at all about the guests, elevators too too far, hallways so tiny confined that it is almost claustrophobic

“The location of this hotel is good since it is close to most of Miami's hot places, on the other hand as it's downtown can be a little dangerous sometimes.

The staff of this hotel made me wonder how come a hotel like that is still in bussiness since they are so cold, they never said hello to us, thank you, Good Morning, nothing! you know, simple things that you expect from friendly people. They were not friendly at all, it is like they really don't care if you are staying there or not. I felt I was invisible.

I've stayed at a Doubletree before and they would give us cookies when we check-in...in this one they would not even say "welcome".

The rooms are ridiculously far from the elevator, honestly it is like 5, 7 minutes walking through the hallways...very confined claustrophobic hallways to be honest.

At least the rooms were confortable even though it smelled cleaning products so strong that it was hard to breath inside the room at the first night and quite honestly it could be a little cleaner.

I would not reccoment this hotel. For the same hotel category you can get a nicer place like The Radisson for example where I stayed last time. Where at least you feel that you are welcome in there!”

• Location is nice, rooms were renovated but could be cleaner.
• Staff was horrible, rude did not even would say hello, thank you, nothing! It was like we did not exist in the hotel. Very very bad!

• It had all the comforts anyone would want.
• We were surprised that we had to pay for valet parking. It was good but maybe we could have know ahead of time.

“This was a nice hotel centrally located, I was promptly and courteously helped on arrival, and was even given a warm cookie upon check-in. The room was well adorned and had a good amount of room.”

• Email was not easily connected. I had my own computer but the room was not equipped with an Ethernet cord

• the mall next door with some great restaurants
• not within walking distance of other malls/attractions

“Enjoyed having the dolphin mall complimentary shuttle pick-up at the hotel. Concierge staff and greeter were wonderful and always had a smile. Felt like we had known them forever. Rooms were comfortable and the warm chocolate chip cookie was delicious when we checked in.”

“I'm a very satisfied customer. The hotel, although not the typical style hotel because of being part of a condominium, is great. I was given a big double queen room even with a sitting room that overlooked the neighboring hotel, a Marriott Courtyard. The location is good too, just a block away of the Metromover's and bus station Omni. I even took the bus to Miami beach, which cost $1.50 and took 15 minutes. Although there is really nothing around the hotel the Metromover takes you to Baymarket in 10 minutes. So even as a tourist the location is good.”

“The room was infested with small bugs that were on the end table and closets...everywhere!!!
The room needed to be fumigated!!! Never before have I stayed at a decent/new/high rise hotel like this one before where the room was bug infested. They even ended up on the free check-in cookie.
Horrible experience even though it was a Modern building in a great location. Too bad the great view did not compensated for the feeling of having to deal with not bringing home these small insects.”
