• Our room was on the ocean front which we requested.
• I had to pay $29 to park.

large hotel and you were in a large room, clean and nice bathroom. It was the best Double Tree that we have had the pleasure to stay in. We will stay here on our next visit to Miami.”

• The staff was nice.
• You pay for what you get. The room was just a dressed up Motel 6.

“When I first arrived, I was asked if I was in the right spot (I was offended). My room was next to the service driveway so we it was noisy at all night with trucks dropping off items. My room had bugs (roaches).”

• Large spa.
• Did not get the chocolate chip cookie at check-in like all the signs say in the hotel (and try to get you to buy them from Starbucks).

• The shower was hot and flowed well.
• No better than any other 2 or 3 star hotel.

• Roomy comfy room, quiet.
• Parking fees way too high.

“Room a bit muggy A/C cranked fixed it, Its' $29 a day to park now, had to walk "a million" miles to my room, but, it overlooked the marina, nice view. Room was huge and comfy. Very quiet back here. Nice for the business traveler.”

• Very nice view over the bay towards Miami Beach.
• The in room refrigerator with snacks that are charged to the room when touched.

“The parking valet personnel were not very clear on the parking cost by using the Hotel parking or the public parking across the street. The overall stay was good.”

• The distance from elevator to the room, very long walk!

“I enjoyed my stay at the Doubletree, the staff was friendly and very helpful. The parking in Miami is a joke! I would think the management at the Doubletree would purchase parking for there paying customers. The hotel was at full capacity and is probably full 95% of the time. So it would be nice for the Doubletree to buck up for some parking.”

• The area is not safe in the evening!

“The hotel looks to be in good area during the day but it's not the same in the evening. Care to be outside alone in the dark. We were attacked one night when coming back to the hotel by foot.”

• Room was muggy so we cranked up the air.

“Overall, this hotel was fine. The room seemed muggy when we arrived, so we cranked the A/C. We also had just one towel, and the staff suggested at midnight that we come down to get more towels. We took some off the housekeepers cart in the a.m. From then on, we had no towel issues. Also, the staff was hit or miss. Some were very friendly and helpful; others were not at all helpful and seemed to be bothered with helping us. We found this all over Miami. Two pleasant women trying to shop to fill a container, and we were either helped very well, or people were rude to us. Is there something in the air or water here?”

• I liked the dream beds and the presentation in the lobby.
• I did not like that the room view was of dirty trash on the side of the building and it was at the far end of the hall.

• The convenience of the restaurants, shops ,and all the amenities such as the lay out of the pool an its multiple hot tubs etc.
• The parking availability too much noise too early as a result of lots of constructions going on all around the hotel

• Rooms were clean, nice bedding and bathrooms.
• $24 to park, a long walk from the elevator to our room.

“This a large hotel/condo complex. Check was fast an courteous. Our room was on the 8th floor and looked on to the sun deck, so we had to keep our curtains pulled as there were people walking past our room constantly. Although the room was not a suite it was a decent size with a very nice bathroom, comfortable bed and nice linens. The cleanliness was very good. We did have to pay $24 to park.”

• Excellent location, warm delicious cookies a check in, room service staff is very kind and quick! room quality is very good.
• First stay the people next door tried t open my door!

“Most of the staff is very kind and helpful. Room service staff is kind and quick. The location is very convenient and the marina view is very attractive. Bell staff service is not that good, you have to wait for a long time before they come to ask you if you need anything, and then again you have to wait longer for assistance.”

• The cleanliness of the hotel and the secure environment along with the security and amenities offered.
• I asked and was told that I could received a king sized bed as it was my wedding night....I wasn't accommodated and when I complained I never got a call.

“The location is convenient especially since I was going on a cruise to the port...there is a lot of construction going on in that area and that part of town lacks shops and other businesses that is in other locations. the hotel is clean and comfortable but as far as the service I got it left a lot to be desired. I even tried to get an upgrade but never got a reply.”

• Beautiful interior rooms.
• Corridors need improvement. Garage separated from hotel is difficult with small children.

“All in all, a nice urban hotel. The room interiors were recently renovated and rather plush, but the corridors had bumpy carpet and peeling wallpaper. Parking configuration made the stay a bit difficult with small children.”

“Excellent hotel in Downtown Miami, near to America Airlines Arena and Wayside Market, 5 minutes drive to Ocean Drive, south beach, the paradise of Miami. Worth for the money.”

• Great room, friendlt staff, convinient location
• Parking is $20 per day, rough neighborhood

“Wery nice room and staff. King bed, nice furnishings. Part of a condo complex, but it was nice. The valet parking is $20 per night, so keep that in mind. We had a nice balcony looking north. Coffee pot in the room as well as a safe. It mentioned High Speed Internet but we wern't there long enough to check if it was free.”

“Excellent accomodations. We had 2 rooms that were immaculate and the staff were friendly. The immediate neighborhood is a little scary after dark, however the readily available free train shuttle took us everywhere we wanted to go. I will definitely stay in that area again.”

• Very unfriendly staff they don't seem to care at all about the guests, elevators too too far, hallways so tiny confined that it is almost claustrophobic

“The location of this hotel is good since it is close to most of Miami's hot places, on the other hand as it's downtown can be a little dangerous sometimes.

The staff of this hotel made me wonder how come a hotel like that is still in bussiness since they are so cold, they never said hello to us, thank you, Good Morning, nothing! you know, simple things that you expect from friendly people. They were not friendly at all, it is like they really don't care if you are staying there or not. I felt I was invisible.

I've stayed at a Doubletree before and they would give us cookies when we check-in...in this one they would not even say "welcome".

The rooms are ridiculously far from the elevator, honestly it is like 5, 7 minutes walking through the hallways...very confined claustrophobic hallways to be honest.

At least the rooms were confortable even though it smelled cleaning products so strong that it was hard to breath inside the room at the first night and quite honestly it could be a little cleaner.

I would not reccoment this hotel. For the same hotel category you can get a nicer place like The Radisson for example where I stayed last time. Where at least you feel that you are welcome in there!”

• Staff was horrible, rude did not even would say hello, thank you, nothing! It was like we did not exist in the hotel. Very very bad!
