• Beautiful, excellent first impression and very peaceful and comfortable. definitely will come again.
• Not a thing.

• The room was quite big and very well decorated. Hotel was completely renovated recently.
• Parking was too expensive!! More than half the price of the daily rate I paid.

“The whole hotel was recently renovated and is very well decorated. The hotel has a shopping area which is common to a neighboor hotel, so there are plenty of options, even a coffee shop and convenience store. Excelent location for travellers on a Cruise vacation in the Port of Miami.”

• It was beautiful, romantic, and our room faced the water which had a beautiful view of the city!

“This Marriott location was the best I'd ever been in. I was on the 5th floor with an awesome view of the water and the city. At night, the view was very romantic. I didn't want to leave! The staff was very friendly. The restaurant at the bottom has a beautiful view of the water. I even saw a hammer head shark that a shark hunter had on his boat while I was at the restaurant. This was a great location.”

• Our room had a great view of the bay and the parking was free.
• There were significant renovations.

• Close to the Port of Miami.
• The room we were in was next door to very loud construction going on during the day.

“The hotel seems to be a nice. When we checked in, it was fast and courteous. Unfortunately, the hotel was going through renovations. The room we checked into was obviously right next door to the loud construction noises which made it very difficult to relax. Also I had to call room service to get a maintenance man to come in and fix the bathroom sink drain stop, which could not be lifted up to drain the water out of the sink. I do have to say though, that the maintenance man was very nice and fastidious.”

• The people are friendly and the service is excellent.
• As two single women traveling to Miami, we did not appreciate the fact that across the street from this resort hotel is a very dangerous neighborhood.

“I think it would be prudent to advise single women and or single individuals that there is some concern with travel from this location. The marina is nice enough but across the street is part of the slums of Miami and a dangerous place to walk.”

• Great staff and fantastic rooms.
• No restaurants around hotel.

“I thought this hotel was very nice. I was impressed right away when I walked in. It was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our view wasn't considered a "Bay View", but we were still able to see a decent amount of the Bay. I still thought we had a wonderful view. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this hotel. Could be back there soon!”

• Nice sheets, nice bed, comfortable. Cute balcony.
• Internet in room didn't work. Fitness room limited and outdated.

“This was good for the price I paid, though I was disappointed that I couldn't get Internet access in my room, which I needed for business. They weren't able to fix despite sending somebody to my room.”

• Location and staff responsiveness.
• Internet connection malfunctions repeatedly and prior guest mess left behind furniture on balcony and cig. Butts.

• The room was a little small, but very nice.

• Most of the staff went above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
• The hotel is in need of a remodel. It looks too old and dated to be situated on such a wonderful piece of property.

“I enjoyed this hotel because of the wonderful view from my room and the friendliness of the staff. The rooms and hotel amenities were in desperate need of a remodel though.”

• The view of the bay and marina were very beautiful. Sun rise in the morning wow.
• $24.00 per day to park your car is a bit high.

• It was a beautiful room, great views, and great beds. Wonderful restaurants and stores near by.
• It was not in the best location for going out side the hotel at night.

“We enjoyed the hotel. Was very happy with everything and everyone involved with this hotel. Not real safe outside of hotel so after 6:00pm you needed to take taxis everywhere! But during the day they had a free shuttle which was pretty nice and then buses for going to south beach etc.”

• Great location, only a couple of blocks to free tram for easy travel around the city.
• The food & drinks at the hotel weren't great.

• Balcony with chairs, room floor plan, location.
• Lack of (or limited) parking space for self-parking.

“Nice, clean hotel with interesting room's floor plan, balcony with chairs, table and a view. Fast elevators, almost no waiting time like in other hotels. Fitness center with fantastic view. Cons: limited TV programs selection, very expensive internet access, no wireless connection, a small safe, unable to fit laptop computer.”

• Great for the location to stay for the Miami Boat Show.
• Not easy to get to, for first time driving into Miami.

“This hotel should be a 4 star hotel with all the amenities and quality of the room. The self parking was expensive however, better off just parking valet.”

• Beautiful, friendly staff, close to the bayside market, wonderful view

“When we checked in we told them we were celebrating our 40th anniversary and were upgraded to a suite with a beautiful view of the bay. The hotel is beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful, the shops have unusual things to see and/or buy. Our doorman was lots of fun. We enjoyed our night and would enjoy spending more time there.”
