Autumn from Chattanooga, TN
“Great location right by the airport, easy since I came in late and was ready for bed. Recently renovated, very nice rooms. Comfy bed and linens, plenty of room to spread out and a nice big desk if you need it for business. Only downside was that the walls were pretty thin, I heard a lot of doors slamming down the hall late at night and in the morning.” Aug 25, 2008 by
Stuart from Glendale, WI
“The hotel was easy to locate and the staff I met was friendly. I needed a roll away bed due to only one bed available in the room for two leisure travelers.” Aug 24, 2008 by
Sarah from Weston, WV
“Very nice.” Aug 24, 2008 by
Tony from Columbus, OH
“Seems hard to put a Hyatt down but if you're not flying this hotel is pretty isolated and is actually connected to the airport. The hotel itself is very nice, the room was clean and the beds pretty comfortable. 25" flat screen in my room but no fridge or microwave; no free breakfast. Restaurant is expensive.” Aug 21, 2008 by
Edith from Williamsburg, VA
“The hotel was very nice. It was very clean, the beds were nice and the bathroom was roomy.” Aug 21, 2008 by
Andy from Verona, PA
“Nothing more to say, very upset.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Cheryl from Philippi, WV
“I would recommend this hotel. They anticipated our needs and met them. It was beautiful and the accommodations more than comfortable.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Ashley from Crestwood, MO
“Be sure you are ready to pay for a cold breakfast and for a hot buffet. Kind of pricy. Parking was horrible had to walk so far and paid so much and there was no valet, they charge every time you leave the parking lot. Be sure to have extra $$ with you. The hotel itself is really nice and super comfortable and the staff was really nice. I would stay there again just because the rooms are so nice, even though the parking is bad. It's worth the walk.” Aug 19, 2008 by
Karen from Altoona, PA
“Parking will cost you $1.50 an hour or $11.00 for overnight parking. We had a two night stay, and I called ahead to ask for a non-smoking room with two double beds. When I got to my room, it had a single king. They were able to correct this after about a 20 minute delay. Sometime after we left the first morning, they de-activated the credit-card style room keys so we weren't able to get back into our room on the second night. Security had to come let us into our room and reactivate the keys. They asked for no form of identification to verify that I really was the person who should be in the room. When we finally got in for the second night, housekeeping never bothered to come tidy up, make the beds or leave fresh towels. The pool was cold, and we had to call the front desk to get them to bring towels to the pool area. The hot tub had a good ten inches of foam on the top. There is a coffee maker in the room with enough supplies for two cups of coffee. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, and room service is available as well as a pricy restaurant. You do have the option to stroll on over to the airport for a bite to eat, but if you don't have a car, there really aren't many good, decent priced dining options for you.” Aug 18, 2008 by
Anthony W. from Newport News, VA
“Though the hotel is nice, it just does not give off warm, professional, glad you are here vibes. Instead, it gives off a business/professional. I will do what I have to but could care less vibe. Maybe my reaction is an over-reaction, but those were my gut feelings after two visits. I am a frequent traveler through the Pgh airport. My outside impression of the hotel was that it was very business upscale but still family-friendly. Now my impression is just that it's business friendly.” Aug 18, 2008 by
Phyllis from Concord, NC
“I was in Pa for a family funeral & needed 6 rooms. We were all on the same floor which was nice. Nice but I've stayed at hotels with 2.5 stars that were better.” Aug 15, 2008 by
Patty from South Fork, PA
“Of all the hotels, this was the cleanest and most comfortable. However they charged 10 dollars a night for internet unless you sat in the lobby this was inconvenient even 2 star hotels usually give free internet in room.” Aug 13, 2008 by
Kyle from Richmond, VA
“The hotel is immaculate, the public areas are beautiful, and the swimming pool and work out facilities are as good as any good quality gym or fitness center. Best of all the rooms are heavenly. The bed is the most comfortable bed I have slept in a three star hotel. Our stay was just about the most perfect hotel stay I've ever had.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Cherlyn from Beavercreek, OH
“The room was immaculate. The staff was extraordinary. The design of the room was upscale and made me feel right at home. Loved the two telephones. Loved the white duvet.” Aug 11, 2008 by
Jan from Lowell, IN
“When you enter the hotel itself is beautiful. Even the hallways are nice. The glass door on the closet, the mirror was broken. The shower didn't look too clean, there seemed to be mildew on the grout.” Aug 10, 2008 by
Brett from Cedar Park, TX
“Hotel is on airport property. We stayed here on return trip so we actually returned rental car to airport after checking in and leaving bags and then took moving stairs back to hotel. Did not have to drop off rental in the morning. Nice hotel facility and staff.” Aug 10, 2008 by
Rich from Fairmont, WV
“Overall, a very good hotel. Because the hotel has no parking, guests must pay to use airport parking.” Aug 7, 2008 by
Lawrence from Pittsford, NY
“Just what you want out of an airport hotel. Only problem was that a wakeup call didn't come: staff was very apologetic and accommodating in response.” Aug 6, 2008 by
Buffie from Shinnston, WV
“The over stay was very nice. The hotel was clean and user friendly. The staff was very nice at check in. My only complaint would be the parking and convenience of the parking lot being it is in the airport. I feel the parking should be free to guest of the hotel.” Jul 31, 2008 by
Dan from Johnstown, PA
“A terrible experience all the way around. The staff was rude.” Jul 29, 2008 by
Terry from Morgantown, WV
“I have not been asked if I was Miss or Mrs. in about 20 years. I believe it was inappropriate to be asked by desk clerk.” Jul 24, 2008 by
Lee from Buffalo, NY
“I thought that this hotel was an outstanding. The hotel was very clean, very modern and the staff was very friendly and professional.” Jul 22, 2008 by
Jeff from Collingswood, NJ
“Excellent hotel and price was a steal. Excellent for my quick in and out trip to Pittsburgh. Moving sidewalk takes you right to the hotel.” Jul 20, 2008 by
Jessica from Karthaus, PA
“Apparently, the second floor had not been used for awhile. That's where our room was located. We were missing a lot of items from our room. Not something you would not expect from a Hyatt. The staff was very helpful. However, this was a bit of trouble for us.” Jul 20, 2008 by
Michael from Manahawkin, NJ
“Not bad for a quick trip, but dealing with parking and handling luggage to and from the hotel is really annoying. Good place if your flying out, but definitely not for any extended stays where you'd be going in and out from the hotel to meetings, events, etc. No free internet access, $11 per day parking, room average for business use and cleanliness.” Jul 12, 2008 by
Chris from Phoenix, AZ
“Walk in and you are happy. Look closely and you see things you would see in a 1 star hotel. Loose sheet on top of mattress. Dirty, cracked tiles in bathroom, felt musty. Good price. Maybe just a bad room.” Jun 2, 2008 by
Michael from Venice, FL
“Great stay!” May 21, 2008 by
Michelle from Akron, OH
“This was a very nice hotel I would stay there again everything we needed they helped us get the people were really nice they really made sure we had a nice stay. And the room was great!” May 15, 2008 by
Barb from Macomb, MI
“We were in Pittsburgh for our kids college and every time we left the hotel to the next meeting (a few hours apart) we had to pay the parking attendant. It should be like other hotels, you pay once and have access to your car as often as you need during your stay. Long and short of the parking. It nickel and dimmed us.” Apr 28, 2008 by
Michael from Belpre, OH
“I really liked the facility and seemed to be a value. That faucet in the bathroom sink need to be changed!” Mar 23, 2008 by
Larry from Middletown, DE
“They dont even have people to help w/bags.” Mar 23, 2008 by
Amber from Pittsburgh, PA
“Beautiful lobby and the pool and gym facilities were phenomenal; room was nice typical 3 star hotel room.” Mar 17, 2008 by
Aidan T. from Dublin, OH
“The Hyatt Airport provides neat, clean, up-scale lodging in a contemporary/modern setting. The public areas are spacious and well-maintained. My room was in very good condition, and provided for a comfortable stay. The negatives: The hotel is difficult to access by automobile. There is no parking/temporary parking at the main entrance. Available parking is at the far end of the hotel, requiring a very long walk to the front desk/lobby. The parking lot is in poor physical condition. And why did I have to pay to park outdoors? I arrived after 10:00 PM, departed by 11:30 the following morning and was charged either $12 or $14 (I can not remember the exact amount). The frustrations of dealing with the parking situation would nullify the perceived value if I had to pay.” Mar 12, 2008 by
Deb from Lakeville, MN
“Very comfortable rooms did not go anywhere but the room-bring your own shampoo and soap-very poor quality for the type of hotel, especially when it is at an airport where customers dont want to unpack everything and want a few conveniences. Rooms and bed were very comfortable.” Feb 12, 2008 by
Peggy from Pittsburgh, PA
“It was great especially if you are flying in or out of Pittsburgh International Airport you don't even have to go outside to get to the terminal. The only down side is you have to pay for airport parking.” Feb 6, 2008 by
Bill from Weymouth, MA
“Connected to the airport. no more needs to be said.” Jan 9, 2008 by
Greg from Gahanna, OH
“Right at the airport but needs better access from the main road coming into the airport.” Jan 9, 2008 by
Robert from Indiana, PA
“I've stayed at this hotel about 4 times and was never fully satisfied. This Hyatt is not up to a 3-star rating. On this trip there was a faulty light in the bathroom that kept turning on and off. The coffee-maker was in stored in the closet where I didn't find it until just before I left (and no tea). They charge for internet use (unlike 2-star hotels in the area). It was also surprisingly noisy, I could hear every move of my upstairs neighbor when he was in the uncarpeted bathroom. I would rather stay at the 2-star La Quinta nearby. When I checked out I expected the desk clerk to ask me how my stay was but he was uninterested.” Jan 9, 2008 by
Steve from Berwick, PA
“A real nice hotel, except for not being able to self-park in the front. Also, could not get in the rear entrance after hours using our hotel card, even though it stated we could.” Dec 20, 2007 by
Carol from Pittsburgh, PA
“This hotel is a great option for the airport traveler. You can get there the night before an early flight and walk right into the airport. The restaurant is good if not the most attractive, lively bar, the wait staff is overly friendly and not so skilled, but the chef is good. The wait staff seems to be constantly cleaning, spraying table tops, etc. While you are eating. Rooms are very nice, very Hyatt, good quality.” Dec 11, 2007 by
Lorrie. from Colorado Springs, CO
“Great overall experience. Need some attention to details. Caulking in bathroom was gone and black mold exposed around tub. Only one disposable cup available for coffee when 2 tea bags and 3 coffees set ups were there. Also only one cream and sugar packet in basket.” Oct 1, 2007 by
Renick from Albright, WV
“Very clean, convenient to airport, friendly, nothing to dislike.” Sep 3, 2007 by
Larry from Charleston, SC
“A Hyatt is a Hyatt unless it doesn't want to be a Hyatt any longer.” Aug 24, 2007 by
Kim from Oakland, MD
“The room and bathroom were very clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.” Aug 20, 2007 by
Cindy from Cincinnati, OH
“Hey, Why am I being asked for another review when you have never addressed my complaint from over a month ago at the Westin Pittsburgh? I had a horrible experience there and that was never even acknowledged by you!” Aug 19, 2007 by
Thomas from Arlington, TX
“The hotel was nice, but no refrigerator.” Jul 20, 2007 by
Mary S. from Hendersonville, TN
“This was by far one of the worst hotels I have stayed in! The bathroom had mold all around the shower and toilet. My children could not reach the sink to wash their hands. When I asked for extra towels I was questioned as to why I needed them (There were 2 large towels for 2 adults and 2 children) There were no valet services and our parking charge was for the hotel airport. They did not direct us to closest restaurants, instead told us the nearest area was 30 minutes away (a complete lie; we found all of the attractions while getting back on the interstate 7 minutes from the hotel.). The worst incident was after unpacking and putting 2 small children to bed, my son on the way to his bed informed me that there was a toenail in the rug gross! I found a housekeeper and he told me we could switch rooms. Are you kidding? Switch rooms after a 12 hour drive, unpacking and 2 small children? They did not even offer to vacuum the rugs! And the refrigerator we were promised was no where in site! This was a complete disappoint for a family that can only afford a vacation once a year! I would never stay in this hotel again!” Jul 11, 2007 by
Colleen from Tooele, UT
“Excellent location if you are delayed at the Airport.” Jul 10, 2007 by
Alice from Parma, OH
“Check-in was great. Upon arriving in Room I found no cups, one package of decaffeinated coffee (no regular), and no creamer. On the morning of Friday 7/6 there was a knock at the door. When I answered (through the door) the housekeeper said she would come back to clean the room. She then asked if I was checking out or staying. When I replied that I was staying, she said that she would be back later. I left the room shortly thereafter. When I arrived back in my room, late that night, the room had been untouched. There still were no cups, no regular coffee, and no creamer. The bed was unmade. The tip I left for the housekeeper was still there. It was quite obvious that no one had entered the room since I left.” Jul 9, 2007 by
