  • The doorman, the concierge, the receptionist, the housekeeper etc. were all very attentive.
  • The location is unpleasing-to-the-eye. Also, the bus driver on a Saturday evening at 9:00 said the area is unsafe.

“Except for the immediate surroundings being unsafe and ugly, all was very pleasant with the hotel. We didn't try the in-house restaurant because we found the prices exorbitant.”

  • Spacious rooms, well-decorated, and comfortable beds.

“Very spacious, well-appointed, and clean rooms. We did not use many of the hotel facilities, since we only stayed overnight, but they had a gym, pool, and 2 restaurants. The staff was pleasant and helpful.”

  • Lobby, pool, secure elevators.
  • Room was clean except carpeting was nasty/dirty and stained. Needs to be replaced.

“Doing a really good job in a somewhat difficult location. We used the Metro Mover to go to Bayside and walked to a dinner location. Found this dinner location from info from concierge.”

“I used the self check in kiosk, which was very quick and efficient. The room was well appointed and has a small private dressing area which was nice. The lobby was very modern and fun, staff very friendly.”

“Stayed at this Hyatt the night before our cruise. Front desk staff was courteous and helpful; easy check-in. Our room had a view of the river, was quiet and clean. Liked the small wall that divided the bathroom/closet area into a private dressing area. Comfortable bed and linens. Room was clean. Disappointed there was a charge for using Wi-Fi. Would recommend to others. Got our room through Priceline at an excellent savings!”

  • The bed was so comfortable it was just like sleeping at home!
  • The area around the hotel was a little scary, it was not a safe place at night.

“This hotel was amazing. The rooms were clean and had a great layout. The beds were so comfortable, almost like being at home. I would definately stay here again.”

  • Connected to the Metro Mover, Friendly Staff, Good Location.
  • Dark, small rooms, strange divider wall, beds not the best.

“Staff was very friendly as with all Hyatt's! Rooms were renovated but did not feel comfortable. Very small with a partial wall dividing the beds from the bathroom sink. Tiny bathroom with dim light. Stopper didn't work in bath tub. Dark walls. Beds were not plush. Our room was not super clean but it was acceptable. Ping pong balls, other small stuff on carpet. Needed vacuumed or steam cleaned. Only 2 towel sets for 3 people even though we had requested extra ahead of time. Great location and free Metro Mover was connected to this hotel. But because this was the smallest, darkest room that we have stayed, we wouldn't choose this hotel again. Definitely not a 4 star hotel.”

“We have had illness in the family so we only needed 2 rooms instead of 3 the desk was very helpful by changing 1 double for a family room but would not give any refund on the room not wanted.”

“Gorgious Hotel quality of staff exceeded themselves. Lobby was very plush and comfortable for an escape from room and view was gorgious. Pool was Salt Water not Fresh so I didn't enjoy that but the view was beautiful.”

  • Valet parking.

“It is next to a metal bridge and evrything that a truck pass over there it was very noise even I was on a 20th floor, and then during the day they was moving furniture all around. I will never come back, and I did not know that it had $30 for parking the car. Thanks.”

“Hotel was nice but the parking during an event at the convention center was unbelievable. It took us 40mins to get off the exit and into the parking garage because of a concert going on that night. They should have a separate entrance for hotel guest. Why should we wait when we were not attending the concert.”

  • Beautiful room with nice comfortable bed and nice scenery.
  • Parking is expensive, it's $29 for valet if you want to come and go and $12.50 in all day parking and must pay that amount as you come and go.

“The parking is located on the side of the hotel and is very difficult to find. Moreover the cost of parking is not advertised clearly. The receptionist was rude, culturally biased and unprofessional.”

  • Gorgeous hotel, in a beautiful downtown on the water setting!
  • I wish I could have stayed longer.

“The hotel is in a great location. Very well maintained. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The lobby is marble floors with a huge sitting area.
For businesses it is located with a convention center. You can't beat it.”

  • I liked the location, it was near south beach and Lincoln road.
  • The first day by accident I knock down a drinking glass and in my 3 days stay never got replaced. I had to share one drinking glass.

  • The valet, and staff.
  • Location, too far from the beach, and construction everywhere.

“It may have been a hot spot 10 years ago, but the location is terrible, you can't walk out the front door without getting hit by a car, no sidewalks, just exit ramps that empty out at the front door. The pool is surrounded by 50 story towers, and construction cranes, no sunlight, just shadows, no view.”

  • Very clean, and comfortable.
  • When asking about transportation they never advised us to use the free metro rail service.

“Very clean and comfortable. The staff could have been more friendly, not very helpful. Housekeeping was pounding on our door as soon as we entered it. Don't think they were aware that we had checked in, also they were very loud in the morning!”

  • The rooms were very clean and spacious.
  • Valet parking was $30.00. The balcony door was sealed couldn't go outside to enjoy the view.

“We weren't very happy about having to spend $30.00 on valet parking especially because we only stayed one night. The door to the balcony was sealed and could not be opened. It would have been nice to be able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the beautiful view and weather. Overall, a nice hotel great rooms!”

  • We loved it that the workout facilities and swimming pool were open 24/7. Too many hotels have
    limited hours for these facilities.
  • No coffee pot in the rooms.

    blocks away from the Port.
  • Unfriendly service people, noisy room like sitting in busy street and rocket high fee for the internet,

“The valet parking was $30 per night. The off site self parking $12.50 was a 10 minute walk away through cavernous hallways without handicap accessibility. There was an elevator that wasn't operational.”
